Skipping all the unlucky details, Chris and Joe at Longman's Collision Centre treated us and our 2 cars more like family than the professionals they are! The 1st sign was they deciding to replace parts that could have been straightened out. Kind of raised my eyebrows why they would want to replace a body panel, but the insurance was covering it so fine. Then there was the wait to get the car scheduled for repair, like 2 months later. So the car gets fixed and I go to inspect the repairs. The trims are not flush (not lining up with each other), small part are on back order so I need to come back, interior insulation are hanging out (not properly installed), my leather seat has a stain mark and my custom fit floor mats are not properly reinstalled. When i pointed these things out the receptionist made some cheeky comment that made it seem like I was unreasonable. The repair is suppose to be lifetime warranty on workmanship. A year later I had rust starting on the side they repaired, directly related to there repairs. The button to open the car on the side they reinstalled stopped working. Trims that I complained about not being flush and even new ones, we're starting to pertrude more evidently. Did they stand up and take responsibility? Nope, one of the reps during the follow up inspection used Google AI to tell me the rust was a common problem with my car. He could not explain why the side that they did not work on was in prestige condition though. They wanted the insurance company to send an adjusted to take a look at my issues. I got so fed up with this I ended up trading in the car. DO NOT use these guys!!!

I took a picture of the bumper and emailed that to a few auto shops to get a quote. My usual ones quote me over $400 and said will be even more.. while most other quoted me around $320..So now it is time to try another body shop. The owner of this auto shop repairs car himself too... The place looks decent and he sounded honest and I decided to give him a try out of all the body shop lining up the area in bullock/laidlaw/heritage. The car got fixed on time (even before the time he promised), looks like new, car was washed, price as promised... I am so happy driving my own car again without trying to get rides from my friends!
