Staff is very friendly and accommodating, I always feel like my teeth are cleaned properly and that they are looking out for me, and they make sure to remind me when I have an appointment. I started going to Dr Yu after my other dentist missed a HUGE problem that had been going on for years. The damage in the end was quite bad and I required surgery. No one noticed it until I came here, and they helped me fix it. That deserves 5 stars alone. Location is in Bridlewood mall, by the library, in that hallway past the food court.

Unhelpful and seem's to not care if she turns people around at the door due to her attitude. My daughter had work done here a few years ago and we had since moved to a new dentist. The new dentist requested us to get records and x-rays taken. Over the phone I was told it would not be a problem. When arriving on site, to hear the opposite was the start of the downward spiral... One words answers then immediately turning around to chat to your coworkers in Cantonese is a beyond rude... When told I was not able to get the details I requested, I told then told to go ask the Government.. WTF? kind of answer is that? To entertain them further, I asked what part of the government only to get a response of, Government again... when they did finally tell me what program I was to contact, it was with a completely annoyed expression on their faces... Yes both, the older and younger receptionist. One would think that if a patient had to be directed to the "government" by detail staff they SHOULD be knowledgable in regards to, what department of the government should the patient contact... NOPE! Not here! I had to rephrase my question 3 times to get more dismissive responses... In retrospect, I am actually happy this happened because I was going to move my family back to this dental clinic... which is obviously not going to happen now... Also effective immediately, I will stop recommending people to this clinic as well (and regret that I had sent 6 people over since my daughters visit)... It astounds me to see businesses fail to understand that, their front line staff influences initial impressions, to would be customers/patients... This failure by their staff was more than enough to ensure that I will not spend a single cent. Thank you for saving me from making a terrible mistake! EDIT: I just want to make this clear to all readers... I was not upset that I have to go to the "Government" to get my daughters records. The hygenists, in general, do their jobs well. However, the service at the reception desk is below average. They do their jobs fine when you want to book an appointment or when they ask you to pay, but when it comes to cancelling appointments and what not, it is a different story. Be prepared to receive some attitude!!!! After all these years, I am finally fed up with how I'm being treated, so it's time to move on to a new dentist. It was a devastating blow, one far too many people have to endure. Following surgery on September 30th to remove the tumor, we learned it was non-small cell lung cancer. Chemotherapy began in late November. Chemo was very hard on mom, and she decided she could not continue. A body scan late December confirmed the cancer had spread to her hip bone, it was stage 4. When mom declined further Chemo, her Oncologist advised she had less than one year to live. This of course broke our hearts. Mom went through radiation on her hip - but declined further Chemotherapy due to the painful side effects. She was given less than 12 months to live. Dad refused to believe there were not other solutions - and undertook an extensive investigation. He was lucky to find CubaHeals. We were thrilled to learn she would be a candidate for CimeVax Vaccine. Mom, dad and my sister travelled to La Pradera, Cuba in March, 2017. It was one of the best experiences of their lives. They were treated like family, with love and genuine care. The team of doctors, nurses and staff took amazing care of them. Bonds were quickly formed. Following the week of treatment, they were sent home with Cimevax - and treatment continues. Late September mom had a lung scan and bone scan. Nerves were on high alert as we waited anxiously for results. Tears flowed freely when we learned her lungs were clear, the spot on her hip is smaller, and the cancer has not spread. Amazing news! UPDATE: mom had an X-ray last week - and lungs are still clear!!! You have given us hope and an opportunity to celebrate life! More people need to know about what you do - we need to tell your story louder! You change people's outcomes, provide hope when there is little to none. We are so grateful for what you do! Thank you
