This did not bold too well with my confidence and I decided to look for another dentist. Off to Sone's on Sheppard dental office. I was seen to Dr. Aiden Sone and he is a joy to visit. He is very friendly and we share a lot of things to talk about which makes my dental visit extremely pleasant. This dental office is much better then my old one as they have computers and x-ray machines that are connected to the computers. Right away after taking the x-rays, the dentist can see the x-rays immediately without any delay. Dr. Sone also showed me these x-rays to me and explained what he was looking at and if there were any problems. I just had a regular dental cleaning/check-up and as usual no cavities. I've never had any cavities in all of my 29 years !! I'm looking forward to my next visit to this dental office, and I'm glad to make the switch. I'll be telling my friends and family to come here as well, as they're all at my previous dentist which is showing signs of age and hands being shaky.

Failed to deliver a promise to call back and I had to call back to follow up instead. Hung up on me while I called without actually speaking to the phone. Not sure if it is because the reception desk is too busy for being professional.. As I just changed my dentist to Dr. Sone, even with transfer of x-ray and past history, but apparently I have to change my dentist again as the reception service could become a barrier. The ladies made me feel intimated as if I'm a chinese and not too welcomed. I wish this is not the case.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating, I always feel like my teeth are cleaned properly and that they are looking out for me, and they make sure to remind me when I have an appointment. I started going to Dr Yu after my other dentist missed a HUGE problem that had been going on for years. The damage in the end was quite bad and I required surgery. No one noticed it until I came here, and they helped me fix it. That deserves 5 stars alone. Location is in Bridlewood mall, by the library, in that hallway past the food court.

They seem really untrustworthy. - Wanted me to remove my wisdom teeth (already removed) before looking into my mouth or my records. - Wanted me to get a X-ray before looking into my mouth. - Told me I had a lot of severe cavities, but did not give me an exact number when I asked. - A dentist came into the room to confirm I had all these cavities by glancing for 5 seconds from 3 meters away. - Tried to schedule a filling within the same week, before I can get a second opinion. I've been a customer since 2002…read more Dr Paul Stratis performed my work in 2002 and I can confirm his work is excellent and stood the test of time. I had two crowns put in and they both were of superior craftsmanship, and I've enjoyed trouble free teeth since then. I made one big mistake in roughly 2007 but switching to a dentist closer to my new work location at that time. Live went on. Come 2019 I had a tooth that presented some issues and suddenly needed a rush root canal. I had issues locating a provider and decide to call up my old dentist and ended up being placed with Dr Nick Stratis, Paul's son. I can safely say the talent runs in the family. Nick was expert in his needle work, he performed the root canal quickly and expertly (on a rear molar the work is much more detailed). I had a temporary filling and a prescription for antibiotics in case the infection spread. Things recovered quickly. I went back for more detailed work and my new crown. Like before the finishing work was quick, clean, and expertly performed. I love my new crown. Absolutely no tooth or jaw alignment issues. Lastly, I should mention no great dental office is complete without great tooth cleaning experts. All of the staff who clean my teeth have done excellent work, and leave me walking away with super clean teeth and gums. It shows every time I smile. I feel obligated to maintain a great dental health routine just to not disappoint the staff on my next visit. And finally staff who run the front counter and manage appointments have been professional, organized, and super accommodating, when I've had to make schedule adjustments. I'll be going to this office for my dental work even if I move out of province. I'll find a way.

I had an appointment scheduled for a root canal. For this 1 appointment, I had to schedule 3 other…read moreappointments (dentist for filling and orthodontist for taking off and putting on my retainer). The day of my appointment, couple hours before, they cancelled on me and had no care of the inconvenience it had. It affects my cancellation of my other appointments which has a cost associated to my cancellations because of the endodontic. When I asked would they reimburse me for their mistake of any late cancellation fees, the female on the phone laughed at me. I asked her what was so funny? she put me on hold. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. NO apology was given. The female on the phone really did not care at all and knows zero about customer service. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPURTUNITY TO GO SOMEHWERE ELSE, DO IT. Save yourself the hassle to be disrespected by the front desk people. They do not care about customer service or any regard for your time.
