I've been going to Upper Canada Dental for almost 20 years now, and even though I've moved away from Newmarket, they're the only practice I will visit. Dr. Railton has seen me through many issues and has always referred me to top notch specialists. His consideration and bedside manner are out of this world and I always love an opportunity to chat with him even if I'm only there for a cleaning. I've seen a few dental hygienists and they've all been super attentive to my annoying needs, namely Ashley. She is super careful and thorough and it's an all round pleasure to be in her chair. The dental assistants and receptionists are out of this world by way of personality, kindness, and efficiency. As someone who has experienced dental trauma in the past, the best feeling in the world is walking into a dental office with anxiety but being greeted with humanity, right down to them getting to know not only your name but little things about you that leave you smiling. Upper Canada Dental Center is definitely the dental center of our choice. Our whole family has been visiting for the past 3 years, ever since we moved in the area. From the front staff, to the hygienists, to Dr. Railton & Dr. Leung, everyone is fantastic. Professional service with a smile, useful remarks and advices with a sense of caring. I always feel at ease when visiting. Chatting and having a good time while receiving excellent care. One time I booked an appointment after work late in the evening. Tired as I was, I almost fell asleep while Dr. Railton was working on my two fillings! During the pandemic the measures taken are excellent as well! Isolating curtains in every room, staff well protected with full PPE and a smart online screening survey before your appointment, enhances the level or security and professionalism. Good job UCD! It's always a pleasure to go see Dr. Railton and his team at the Upper Canada Dental Centre - I know, going to the dentist can be a nuisance and gives people anxiety but with this team you are in good hands! Friendly staff (Antonietta, Gina and Jessica at the front desk) that keeps you appraised if there are any delays and his hygienists are knowledgeable and thorough. Of course Dr. Rob is a gem; he explains everything he does, is giving an honest opinion to all questions and does what needs to be done without trying to upsell, which we appreciate - we have been patients for years. I have always had a hard time with going to a dentist since i was very young. Financially i have been taken twice for more than it should have been. Last fall i had no choice but to see a dentist. My friend refered me to Dr R at the Dental office in Upper Canada mall. I was not disappointed, between Dr R and Dr Mortey i was very happy, no nervousness and no bill being over the price of the quote and the best, no panic attacks... I have no hesitation returning on a regular bases, I even went for a teeth cleaning, something ive never done. The staff at the desk are fantastic, as is all the staff. No office has came close to the quality and care I received at Upper Canada Dental. The whole reception team is super nice and accommodating, everything is super clean and professional. I went to visit Dr. Railton today for a filling (multiple actually) And I was fairly prepared for it. I didn't mind waiting the whole two or three minutes for it to get started, which was nothing, nor did I mind when he had to step out and help somebody else while the numbing was taking effect. We enjoyed watching some TV together while we waited for the numbing to start. In the chair, I felt cradled and content while he worked on me. I felt no pain, I had no adverse reactions, and it took almost no time before it was over. Highly recommended. read more

Dr. Leung is totally awesome! Not only is he highly skilled, his personality is such that it leaves me feeling relaxed, which is important when you have had as much work done on your teeth as I have! He has a delightful and very entertaining sense of humour! There is no doubt that I am in extremely capable hands, with each visit. This is a great dental office. The receptionists are pleasant and welcoming. I never have to wait long for an appointment. My hygienist, Stephanie, is always thorough, gentle, and kind. Dr. Leung is very friendly, skilled and knowledgeable. My hygienist was Ashley. No one likes the the cleaning and scaling process but honestly Ashley made it an awesome experience! She kept checking on me to make sure I was ok she was very professional and attentive an absolute joy to be around.
