Wouldn't have known about Market Fresh if it wasn't for Instagram and I'm glad I went. Market Fresh is a diy salad bar, yet they also serve breakfast and burgers. Due to COVID, as most of the hospitality industry they had to adjust, yet they are still serving healthy, hearty and fast meals. I got to try the Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($10.50) with a side of tater tots ($2.50). The chicken was juicy and the batter was had a great crunch when you take that first bite. There was a bit of heat, but that could have been from the chili pineapple sauce. But mixed with the coleslaw and the lightly pickled onions, this chicken sandwich made me want to dance. And honestly, you can never go wrong with tots. They had several sauces prepackaged on the side for you to take as you grab your meal and head out. A solid meal if your in the area and want to eat it while watching enjoying a beautiful day.

4 item box: baked salmon, curry chicken, roasted veggies, and yakisoba

This place has been on my list for a bit after hearing the new chicken sandwich and the hype of their new menu items. It's a bit far from work but I decided to finally give it a try. Right now, they do not offer the buffet but will be soon :). You basically tell them what you want and they will bring it out to you. You get to choose from 1-4 items (price vary). I chose the 4 item box and got the baked salmon, curry chicken, roasted veggies and vegetables yakisoba. For $10, it's a pretty decent portion. And the quality of food is definitely there. The salmon was light and good, the curry chicken was flavorful, and I especially like the yakisoba because of the texture. Overall it was a pretty good place. Too bad it's not closer to me or I would go here more often. Definitely will need to be back here though to try their chicken sandwich and their salad bowls eventually.

Great to see a restaurant adapt to the pandemic, an in stride. Being a traditionally buffet place, the reopening came with a new items in the form of tuned up presets. All presets seemed delicious. I picked the braised tofu bowl. Which sounded good but tasted even better! Definite Asian/Korean influence with bowl accessories (radish, cabbage, farro grain, onion, and roasted cauliflower) that were tasty, different from the norm and definitely healthy. My roommate got a garden burger, but ate it faster than I could get a picture or a bite. Gear to see the local favorite up and running again!

I've never tried a chicken sandwich as good as the one here at Market fresh!!! A tender, juicy, huge chicken piece in the bread. ***chicken size is x2-3 the size compared to chickfil-a. You have to try this!!!!! I would definitely come back to this place. Service was great as well!!!

Our local buffet lunch spot has a friendly staff, decent (albeit) repetitive selection. You'll find a huge salad bar;, a variety of Asian food selections (fried rice, Yakisoba noodles, General Tso Chicken, Teriyaki and curry chicken. Here is the but... It is super expensive.. $7.99 a lb is not cheap. Especially for oatmeal .. ouch

Market Fresh is on the ground floor of the Fourth & Madison building but on the 3rd Ave entrance side, go figure. It's a good spot to stop by in the morning to grab some breakfast. It's buffet style where you just grab a box and fill it up with whatever. They have eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausages, potatoes, waffles, and all that. They have some lighter options like yogurt, with all kinds of toppings from granola, fruit, seeds and they also have a oatmeal bar. Also some baked goods like cookies and banana bread. Pricing is pretty good, my breakfast usually cost me under $5 so that's a pretty good deal for breakfast. The ladies that work there are very nice, will keep an eye out if items are running low and refill it pretty quickly. At lunch time, the line is going out the door so it's pretty popular with the work crowd that works in the building or the neighboring ones. The food seems to be mainly Asian themed with teriyaki, meats, noodles, sushi rolls etc. But they have salads, veggies and lighter fare if you trying to stay svelte. Overall, it's super convenient for me and will continue to stop by.

This place is right across the street from my work. It is quick, easy, and fast. You walk in, grab a container (they've got a variety), fill up with the box with food, they way it, you pay, you're back out the door. Pretty much a salad bar, but they also have hot food. Salad bar: a good variety of veggies and dressings. They've got an assortment of lettuce, from romaine, spring mix to aragula. They also have premade salad mixes at the end, I like their broccoli one. Hot food: they've got a Korean selection it seems, I like the sweet potato glass noodles. They've also got wings and potatoes as well. I also like their meatballs. If you want to sit and eat there, I think there are a few tables in the lobby of the building it's in. I always take it back to my office. Friendly ladies at the register.

Market fresh is in the basement of Rainer square with a variety of Asian foods and salad choices. They have a lot of selection, and I sampled as much as I could fit in a box. The food itself was not quite hot enough (room temperature) and the dishes were quite heavy and a little overcooked. Because of the large selection of food, I believe they compromised quality. However it is also quite affordable so I feel you get what you pay for! I would recommend going here if you are looking for a quick lunch and want to choose exactly how much food you want and can't decide what you want! Otherwise if you know what you want and want a full serving of it, many other restaurants would be more worthwhile.

This is the perfect lunch spot for the downtown indecisive picky eater. It's a buffet style kind of eatin'. I like this location better than Columbia Tower's because it has more selection and I don't feel so claustrophobic. Food selection: Fruit, veggies, salad, salmon, and more. Seating: You can eat at a table in the IDX lobby area. If you want outdoor seating you can also walk to the Marion food court a block away. If you want indoor seating go to Safeco Plaza next to Mel's Market. They also have hand sanitizer by the register.

But unfortunately, today's visit will be my last. I came into the store with a general idea of what I wanted to purchase. There were 3 employees working and only one other customer in store. I didn't receive a greeting, any acknowledgment, or even a smile - nothing. I felt like my presence was a nuisance. Their selection of products is vast and impressive (+1 star), but overwhelming if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. I would be more knowledgeable of what to buy if staff would be helpful and open to questions. I walked up to someone stocking a shelf with products in my hands, said "excuse me?" to ask for help, and the person just scooted away without looking at me. Yeah, no. After walking a lap around the store trying to get anyone's attention, I waited near the register with products hoping they would at least try to cash me out. Nothing again. I waited 3-5 minutes without anyone coming to help or even a "I'll be right with you" although there were workers on the floor. I just put my products away and left. I can't support an establishment that prides itself on high vibes and wellness but makes their customers feel like sh!t. Today's experience has been consistent with the past 2-3 other times I've been in and I won't be returning.
