Yesterday, I had the Crab Benedict which was amazing. I would recommend just about anything on the menu. Another favorite of mine are the barbecue pork sliders. The vibe is authentic cowboy Reno. The servers genuinely try to keep you happy. Every guest that we have taken there loves it as well. Bon Appetite meets Yahoo!

From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated as if we were inconveniencing them by asking for a table. We were totally agreeable and ok with a table or the bar. After about 10 minutes, we were directed to the bar where there was one seat for two of us and the gal with the green shirt that was from somewhere in South Carolina promised to get us another stool. We went to where we were shown to go. Another couple at the bar mentioned someone had taken the stool that belonged where we were. We ordered two drinks, Jameson on the rocks and a Grey Goose or Tito's Lemondrop. $14 for the lemondrop that couldn't have had a shot of vodka in it. I'm not sure it had any in it because it tasted like lemon juice and Cointreau. The single shot of Jameson on the rocks was $12.25. There were 3 local guys who appeared to be finishing up on the other side of the couple next to us that were standing and leaning on empty stools. I asked them if we could have one of the stools and one of the guys jokingly told me not to yell at him. We laughed and he said he was leaving anyway, but the bartender told him not to give us the stool. The bartender brought us our drinks and we patiently waited for a stool, but decided if we finished our drinks and hadn't received menus or a stool that we'd find a different spot. The food smelled good and the few people eating seemed to be enjoying it. After a bit longer we were asked if we wanted to move to a table when one came open. We should have said yes, but we were trying to be easy and agreeable as they seemed overwhelmed, even though there were two empty dirty tables and the three spots at the bar where the local guys were bullshitting and leaning on the back of the empty stools, so we said we would stay at the bar. We still had not been offered menus or the 2nd stool we were told was coming. After another short while, a couple at the end of the bar left and the bartender asked us if we wanted to move into those spots. We moved and ordered another Jameson on the rocks. We found a menu that another patron had left and decided we would order if asked before we finished our cocktails. The bartender gave us the 2nd Jameson on the rocks, but never asked us if we wanted to order even though she knew we came for dinner. We finished our drinks and asked the lady in the green shirt with South Carolina on it if we could have our bill because we had already been there more than 50 minutes while feeling like we may have never been asked what we wanted to eat. We finally got our bill of $38.50 for a terrible lemondrop and two shots of Jameson on the rocks. We left hangry and irritated that we never got to taste the food we were smelling. I've heard good things and had a nice Mother's Day there last year, but I won't go back unless I'm with a recognized local as they seemed to be the only patrons receiving food. Obviously, by the length of this review, that I'm very disappointed and hope the staff will take into account how they made good paying patrons feel. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. If management cares enough to check the receipts, we were there 4/17/26 and left between 6:30 and 7pm.

Went at my friend's request for her birthday lunch. I'd never been so as always up for something…read morenew! Their menu is pretty big with lots of choices so I checked it out ahead of time to know what I wanted. My friend hadn't and found the choices were a bit overwhelming but she made her decision and we ordered. It wasn't busy and our server was friendly and accommodating to questions. The portion of just salad is huge so I declined the roll that was included. I got the Buffalo Chicken and blue cheese salad with everything it came with. My friend ordered the half n half which included a small cup of soup and a choice of half a panini sandwich or small salad. She had the lobster bisque which she liked although no lobster chunks but some shreds were in it and salad. Her salad was a doable size compared to mine! I ate about half and was full. It had nice chunks of blue cheese and small chucks of the chicken which wasn't very buffalo but tender. We each got bottled water. They don't serve fountain drinks here. All and all we enjoyed our lunch, it was rather expensive but you get big portions. I'd opt for the half and half next visit. Very clean and plenty of seating!

Really not a fan. Feels like a salad subway, mediocre options, didn't look super fresh. Ordered broccoli cheddar soup and it is hot, but not soup consistency, it's like a wet paste...not even appetizing. I ordered the avocado Cobb, no eggs, with extra chicken and mozzarella cheese instead of bleu cheese and ranch. The ranch is almost too sweet to eat. For a full size salad, and a medium soup and a regular fountain drink it was almost $30.

Honest dine-in review: 5/5 would recommend the early bird special if you're looking for a good meal…read moreaway from the crowds. ***Note for the manager: Please.... And I mean please update your menu to include tree nut allergy for your chocolate mousse cake... you don't want that to be a liability issue in the future. Thankful Chris your server had our back and checked before I took a bite... (tree but allergy) -lobster bisque: 4.5/5 Not too creamy, rich enough to savor the flavors, and enough lobster in your soup as it's intended to be. I would recommend the cup over the bowl as you seem to get a good amount of soup in the cup. 5/5 for flavor but knocking it down as I just felt like the bowl should have had more than the cup. Just an observation that I thought I'd share if you're considering this as an appetizer. -Early bird special: 5/5 6 oz filet, vegetable of the day, prawns with a great sauce, and a true mash of potatoes. Yes. For $29.99 you can't go wrong with this combination. Add a sorbet palette refresher and top it off with champagne. You're given an experience with this meal that should cost more but you order it for the early bird special. The flavors are true and not masked by a bunch of seasonings or sauces, the beet is rich and carries a good Maillard reaction with the steak, the vegetables are fresh and flavorful, the prawns are rich and taste fresh, and potatoes are nice, smooth, with a bite that makes this a true mash. Tiramisu: 5/5 Simple. Decadent. Coffee forward and just a good bite to end the night. Chocolate forward without compromise of the coffee. Just a good bite. Compliments to the waiter Chris as he was accountable, attentive, and caring. From accounting for the missing plate which was handed to a different table, to refilling our drinks accordingly, and knowing his menu to help our dietary needs at the table. This was an amazing experience for a little drive away to a nice, cozy, and quiet steakhouse experience. Thank you boomtown!

We have eaten here a few times…read more 1. Food - it's a steakhouse, so get a steak. I've had the fish twice (halibut and salmon) and it's mediocre/disappointing. The steak is reasonably priced though, and you can't go wrong with a T bone or filet. For sides, creamed spinach, Mac n cheese, or potatoes. Stay away from the garlic risotto, which is also bland and disappointing. The salads (wedge/caesar) are very good. 2. Service - great, never had an issue. 3. Ambiance - quiet, classy restaurant. Many people dressed casually.
