Take their online assessment (on their website) and take control of your back pain!…read more I spent almost a year suffering with lower back pain, worried that the only option suggested would be surgery. My pain was interfering with my sleep, work, and all the things I used to enjoy. So, I finally decided to search for a solution. That's when I found Spine Team Texas. Reading through their reviews and information on their website, I saw that they approach back pain with modern solutions--no old school remedies here! The building is new, patient rooms are clean, state of the art equipment (surgery center is in the same building), very transparent about what insurance will pay for, friendly staff and passionate doctors. It's been an incredible experience thus far. TIP: fill out the online assessment; it's like a matchmaking service for your spine, pairing you with the doctor best suited to diagnose you. I was paired with Dr. Sanders, who quickly and accurately evaluated me and suggested deep cortisone shots--an outpatient procedure. Now, I'm thrilled to report I'm nearly pain-free from the procedure alone, and after a few weeks of physical therapy, I should remain pain free. If not, I'm confident whatever Dr. Sanders does next will be another step towards solving my issues -- I trust him. I'm ready to get my life back, and wishing I'd started this journey much sooner. If your on the fence, I highly recommend you start here...

I was not called and also got a follow up email to make sure I would show up today. Wasted our time and a day off of work. Vet inconsiderate and unprofessional. We are also seeking him for a 2nd opinion and instead roped into their therapy sessions. Which of course doesn't help if your back hurts b

No one informed my husband that his throat would close up on him and he would be choking the first few days after surgery. Most doctors prescribe a steroid to take for that reason alone. Dr Morgan didn't prescribe steroids for him to take nor would he give any to my husband after I frantically called his office after hours. I ended up finding someone who gave me 3 prednisone pills (my mom) to get him through the hump. I couldn't bare to see him choking and not being able to breathe. My husband to this day says those steroid pills saved his life. Morgan's work is good, but clearly he doesn't know what it feels like to not be able to breathe and feel like you are dying. For that reason alone, I would find another doctor. My husbands eyes were bulging and he was gasping for breath when we got home. Do not put your loved one through this! It's unnecessary.

I was having back issues and made an appointment with Dr. Brent Morgan. When you arrive for your…read moreappointment you will be met by a medical assistant who takes your vitals. Then you will be interviewed by his Physician Assistant who asks you medical questions and does a quick exam. Then Dr. Morgan comes in to discuss your medical issue. I had CD's and reports from previous spine surgeries and the corresponding reports. Dr. Morgan advised I should get a Myelogram and CT scan to diagnose my problem. I was diagnosed with a Tethered Spinal Cord which needed to be repaired. I had the surgery and he repaired the Tethered Spinal Cord as well as removing the hardware in my Lumbar 4-5 fusion. The surgery was in June 2017. Three and one-half months have gone by and I am feeling great. Dr. Morgan and his entire staff are professional and very caring. If you need a highly educated and responsible spine surgeon he is the physician you should visit for your health issues.

I had already sent in my information via the patient portal. No one reads that stuff. All places will ask you the same questions again and again. Patient questionnaires need updating clear across the board, at every medical facility. So no wait for me to see the MD. Dr Chambers, took the time to explain options and possible outcomes. Extremely informative visit. Enough time for me to think about what I was getting myself into! Dr Chambers forwarded his findings to my orthopedic surgeon. Surgery was scheduled the following week. I had knee surgery a few month ago, and needed some rehab. My wife had seen Averi Garcia at Texas…read moreSpine & Rehab for a previous injury, so I figured I'd engage her for mine. I worked with her for nearly four months as my knee recovered and I was able to rebuild the strength needed to walk correctly. In short, I could not be happier with Averi and TS&R. Averi was able to articulate what was going on with my knee, my hip and my ankle. She prescribed me some exercises, answered my questions, and physically worked my leg with her hands until everything was in the right place and working properly. Besides her knowledge and experience, Averi was a pleasure to talk to, and was patient and understanding with me throughout the process. She never pressed me to work harder or lose weight. She did make suggestions for walking on crutches effectively and what exercises to do at the gym. I cannot recommend Averi and her team enough for anyone in need to physical therapy. Whether you are a student athlete, recovering from an injury, or just working to increase your strength or flexibility, you can't do better than Averi and TS&R.
