No one informed my husband that his throat would close up on him and he would be choking the first few days after surgery. Most doctors prescribe a steroid to take for that reason alone. Dr Morgan didn't prescribe steroids for him to take nor would he give any to my husband after I frantically called his office after hours. I ended up finding someone who gave me 3 prednisone pills (my mom) to get him through the hump. I couldn't bare to see him choking and not being able to breathe. My husband to this day says those steroid pills saved his life. Morgan's work is good, but clearly he doesn't know what it feels like to not be able to breathe and feel like you are dying. For that reason alone, I would find another doctor. My husbands eyes were bulging and he was gasping for breath when we got home. Do not put your loved one through this! It's unnecessary.

Then you will be interviewed by his Physician Assistant who asks you medical questions and does a quick exam. Then Dr. Morgan comes in to discuss your medical issue. I had CD's and reports from previous spine surgeries and the corresponding reports. Dr. Morgan advised I should get a Myelogram and CT scan to diagnose my problem. I was diagnosed with a Tethered Spinal Cord which needed to be repaired. I had the surgery and he repaired the Tethered Spinal Cord as well as removing the hardware in my Lumbar 4-5 fusion. The surgery was in June 2017. Three and one-half months have gone by and I am feeling great. Dr. Morgan and his entire staff are professional and very caring. If you need a highly educated and responsible spine surgeon he is the physician you should visit for your health issues.

I had already sent in my information via the patient portal. No one reads that stuff. All places will ask you the same questions again and again. Patient questionnaires need updating clear across the board, at every medical facility. So no wait for me to see the MD. Dr Chambers, took the time to explain options and possible outcomes. Extremely informative visit. Enough time for me to think about what I was getting myself into! Dr Chambers forwarded his findings to my orthopedic surgeon. Surgery was scheduled the following week. Fast service after the nerve assessment from Dr Chambers. December 2020

I worked with her for nearly four months as my knee recovered and I was able to rebuild the strength needed to walk correctly. In short, I could not be happier with Averi and TS&R. Averi was able to articulate what was going on with my knee, my hip and my ankle. She prescribed me some exercises, answered my questions, and physically worked my leg with her hands until everything was in the right place and working properly. Besides her knowledge and experience, Averi was a pleasure to talk to, and was patient and understanding with me throughout the process. She never pressed me to work harder or lose weight. She did make suggestions for walking on crutches effectively and what exercises to do at the gym. I cannot recommend Averi and her team enough for anyone in need to physical therapy. Whether you are a student athlete, recovering from an injury, or just working to increase your strength or flexibility, you can't do better than Averi and TS&R.

Dr. Valente saw me virtually in 2020 during the shut down of the pandemic. He literally saved my…read morelife by listening to me, trusting my symptoms and having an argument with my PCP who had been gaslighting me. Dr Valente ordered an MRI of the brain and referred me to a neurologist who ultimately diagnosed me with severe Lupus. Since then I've been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune conditions, all of which are severe related to the lack of treatment from my PCP. I don't know what his office looks like or anything about his bedside manner but I absolutely know that he is a competent practitioner who really listens!!

Four small cheap looking chairs covered in nasty stains in the lobby. Myself and another lady stood rather than sit on them. I waited about 50 minutes in the waiting room and then another 10 or 15 in the exam room. Dr Valente came in, shook my hand and half heartedly apologized for the wait. He glanced at my chart and said, why are you here? In a tone like he didn't understand what made me come. I responded that I have triple scoliosis 49°thoracic curve that causes pain and restricts abilities. My regular doctor had referred me to Arriosti PT, who said not safe to work with me until a spinal specialist outline what would be permissible to not harm my heart or lungs. Dr Valente had me stand up, put my hands out in front of me, pushed on them, told me to hold my arms out and pushed on them, then said 'tell them to do whatever they want'. He said I needed a specific scoliosis x-ray at Harris hospital. No paperwork or other written information was provided. The front desk said just to call Harris to make an appointment. I called nearby Harris and they said there was no order for an x-ray. The person at the hospital contacted dr. V office to get the order sent. When she finally got it, it was for a different location downtown. That all took over a week. I could not go downtown right away because of work. When Valente's office called to confirm my next appt, I said please reschedule since I had not been able to go for the x-ray. She said I should call back to reschedule because she didn't want to 'waste her time' following up. Could not believe she said that. I came here because I needed help but that didn't happen.

I'm unique in that Dr. Deb Holubec has treated me (15 years ago) and my daughter (the last three…read moreyears). I didn't see much benefit from her treatments as the epidural steroid injections didn't have a positive effect. My daughter, however, has several chronic illnesses and has had more extensive procedures at RPC. Dr. Deb did the WRONG SIDE of her back the last time she had a rhizotomy. She woke up in excruciating pain after the procedure on the healthy side of her back. After realizing her mistake, Dr. Deb put her back under to do a few areas on the correct side, but she couldn't completely do it because "It would be too much" for my daughter. Fast forward a couple of years later, my daughter is now 17 and leaving for college in a month. She hoped to get the procedure done again because her pain had returned. If you have chronic pain/illnesses, then you know how challenging the entire physician process is - and the reason we were willing to try her again. I call to make an appointment, but they insist on a referral. I explain our insurance doesn't require it and am told, "It's an office policy." So... despite the urgency, I get in quickly with our orthopedic doc; he rolls his eyes at the policy/requirement but sends the referral over. I follow up with Dr. Deb's office to make the appointment, and this NIGHTMARE of an office admin, Dorothy (?), tells me they won't see Ashlyn if we don't show Ashlyn's insurance card. She's a minor and doesn't have an insurance card. We've always used mine or my husband's. Besides, we've never been asked for this - not once. Not at MAYO CLINIC or any of the 100s of appointments I've taken my daughter to in the last five years. I ask her to work with us because we're in this time crunch, and the best she's willing to do is put my daughter "down as self-pay." I tell her we're not self-pay, we have valid insurance. No one has ever demanded this before. Then this NIGHTMARE tells me to go to a military base and get a card; otherwise, it will be self-pay. She argues with everything I say, even about Ashlyn getting the procedure we seek. She rudely talks over me and everything I try to say. She refuses to let me talk to someone else in the office. Finally, I tell her I want to speak to Dr. Deb, and she says, and I quote, "Dr. Deb is not going to speak to you unless you have an appointment." I tell her to remind Dr. Deb that my daughter's back is the one she screwed up and performed on the wrong side and to call me (wondering now if she even knows who that is or how often this happens.) Still waiting for my call. I've dealt with difficult people, but this office admin is a straight-up B, and no one should have to deal with her when seeking care for themselves or a family member. She's in the wrong field. From other reviews (check Google, too), she is a long-standing, known problem, and the physicians here simply don't care. Poorly done Regional Pain "Care" Center.
