I checked in and as I was starting to fill out paperwork, I was called back. I was barely able to finish my paperwork when a tech collected me for x-rays. I waited less than 5 min to see Dr McNutt which I'm sure that was only due to him waiting to review my x-rays. He politely introduced himself and quickly examined my arms' mobility. Immediately he determined the source of my injury, gave me a shot of some sort to relax the inflamation. He prescribed physical therapy and sent me on my way. It was an amazingly fast visit and a huge relief that he diagnosed my issue as I was suffering for months just hoping it was basic soreness that would go away.

First couple appointments in April went fine, Dr Burgemeier prescribed an MRI scan for my left foot and referred me to ATI for physical therapy for my shooter's elbow, while getting me on an elbow brace for support. After reviewing the MRI scan he proposed tendon repair surgery for my foot (soccer injury) and I instantly said yes. But strangely he immediately said he is busy and if I want to do it soon, he can refer me to Dr Leroy Butler. I told him I am willing to wait but regardless he "referred" me to Dr Butler. I was told grace will handover my files to Dr butlers office & I will get a call from Dr Butlers assistant soon. A month passed by and no one called. So I called Texas sports medicine after a month asking for Dr Butler only to be told to there was no one by that name at this office. After giving my history of the previous visits I was told someone will call Me back. So Dr Burgemeier decided to pawn me off to another doctor in another practice and decided there was no need to even inform me of these details. No one called back from Texas Sports Medicine but I got a call From doctor butlers office (orthopedic institute of north Texas) to schedule a consultation appointment with him. At this point I had to ask if they got all my details from Grace at Texas sports medicine and she said all They got from Her was my name and phone number!!!!! While I was given the impression that all my details including MRI results would be handed over so that my surgery could be scheduled asap. Then an extremely rude lady claiming to be the office manager got on the phone to lecture me the procedure (or lack of one) of patient handovers from one practice to another giving me the bureaucratic red tape line. The sheer unprofessional behavior led me to cancel the appointment and call Texas Sports Medicine to get my medical records file so I can do the needful on my own while hunting for another surgeon - even For that I was given the run around and it took a few days before they were ready so I could go there to pick up My file. Once there I met Grace again and gave them a 2nd chance, told her I am Still willing to go with dr Burgemeier for my surgery - waited a week and still no call back. Anyways, looks like it all happened for the best. A week later I met another surgeon who is a college mate of dr Burgemeier but a real Professional and definitely a great doctor and better surgeon than Burgemeier. He did a great job assessing my foot and subsequently my foot surgery at Texas health resources. 2 & a 1/2 months have passed and I'm well on my way to a great recovery with post op followups ongoing No thanks to Texas Sports moochers

My husband liked him so much he suggested I try him. I called and spoke to his office, they were very helpful. I had my x-rays sent over from my previous chiropractic care so I didn't have to do x-rays again. Dr Stutz went over his assessment with me, he helped me understand how I was able to throw my back out over such a simple daily life task and explained that with the correct care hopefully we could prevent that from happening again. As it turns out one of the exercises I had been given from my previous care was not a good fit for my specific issue. I have since been given a couple of new exercises and I have been in to see Dr Stutz for multiple visits. My husband and I have very different back issues and we both require different care, Dr Stutz has helped/ is helping both of us feel better. My husband was initially drawn to Family & Sports Chiropractic due to the sports related specific care that could be given, he also plays soccer and loved that Dr Stutz provides care to the FC Dallas players as well. I, on the other hand, do not play sports of any kind and was honestly a little hesitant. Dr Stutz has always made me feel comfortable, it has not mattered one bit that I am completely unathletic. He has made me feel at ease for all of my care while still working to improve my condition. Also to note, which is very important to me, the office has always been friendly, is it easy to schedule visits and texting to the office number has always gotten a quick response. I had a specific request this last week which was graciously handled by the office and Dr Stutz. When I went in for consultation, it was hectic with people running and a full lobby. The doctor ensured me that it's not usually this chaotic as they just transitioned over to a new system that day. OK, let's see how it goes next time. Dr. Handecki's (sp) assistant seemed rushed as he talked fast and moved faster. The x-ray was speedy and simple. There was a miscommunication between the doc and I because I asked for a PRP injection but he decided to give me a cortisone shot and didn't really explain it to me. The numbing spray worked within seconds so I couldn't feel him prodding the needle inside my arm. That was nice. Do note that the cortisone shot here is slightly more expensive than other places, but I would say the procedure is more effective because he scraped at the bone to promote blood flow. I attended three sessions of physical therapy and that was enough for me. I saw Josh the first time and he was training a student. Instead of focusing on my ailments, he would question her and let her do most of the work. She didn't really know what she was doing and he wasn't monitoring her for the most part. The second time was with a different PT and it seemed as if she made up exercises on the go. There wasn't a set agenda for me when I walked in. On my third visit, I was handed off to four different PTs. What was the point of that?? I didn't get to build a rapport with anyone as they kept bouncing me around. I will say that everyone is pretty nice and easy to talk to. I think that's imperative because you're in the open room for an hour each session. Also, it is easy to book PT appointments and they are never late getting you in the door even if you show up early. Alright, I came back five weeks later for a follow-up and it was still nuts. Not as many people in the waiting room as the first time, but I still had to wait 45 minutes before seeing the doctor just to say, "OK, you're good." I thank him for helping me heal in the meantime, but he is booked to the brim.

When TMI called me to schedule my appointment, they said they were booking me in their Dallas location. I asked them for the address, and they said "it's on Central Expressway." I thought it was a little weird that they wouldn't just convey the physical address to me, but they told me it would be on the intake paperwork I'd receive via email. Ok, I thought. I go to fill out the intake paperwork the day before my appointment and notice it says the address is in Frisco. I thought, "Oh, great, they scheduled me at a different location." Their signature line had their Frisco address, the intake paperwork had the Frisco address, and their phone service only mentions Frisco or Arlington. Cut to this morning. I get to the appointment an hour early because I figured I'd answer some emails while I waited for my appointment. I suddenly receive a text from TMI prompting me to check-in online to save time. I go through the lengthy process and receive a confirmation at the end that shows an address on Central Expressway. What??? I call confused and ask them why this is the first time I received the correct address after I was already at the Frisco location since that's what ALL of the information they sent me listed. They confirm I'm supposed to be at their Dallas office (which is only 5 miles from my house and 20 miles from where I currently drove!). I then end up being 10 minutes late to an appointment I was initially an hour early to because I had to drive a whopping 40 + unnecessary miles round trip after it was all said and done. To add insult to injury, I was obviously furious when I arrived to the office and started to tell the front desk personnel what I experienced. Another woman chimed in and interrupted me, claiming I can complain to her. After which, the first woman made a rude hand gesture indicating she wanted nothing to do with my issue. As I'm speaking to the woman who interrupted me, so interrupts me again until I had to tell her that I was still talking! I showed her the email I received that lists the Frisco location, and the intake paperwork which lists the same. I explained that if it happened to me, it will happen to another patient. She promptly blamed the "software" they use since it's "new." Well, I hate to tell you, but the software has nothing to do with your employee's error. The software doesn't change the signature line with your address in your email. The software doesn't alter the address you provided on your PDF intake forms. I will never go back here and will certainly never recommend this place to anyone. They could care less that they screwed up my morning and had me driving all over town. The employee that initially blundered this entire thing will never be disciplined because they don't even provide their name on the email you receive. This will happen over and over with no accountability.

He went in through the front left side of my neck, moving everything out of the way to get to my vertebrae where he removed three discs and replaced my 4th vertebrae with a mesh cage to stabilize my spine. I woke up shortly afterwards and was, almost immediately, 90% free of the pain I had been experiencing in both of my arms. Other than some discomfort when swallowing food from the intubation, minor soreness of the neck which dissipated when I sat upright, and nausea which had by now mostly resolved, I've experienced no other symptoms. 18 hours later, I'm feeling almost normal having taken nothing but a couple of steroid injections for swelling. They attached a tube to the wound site and the collecting bag is still empty. I know every surgery is different in their complexity and outcome, but I''m glad I placed my trust in a surgeon who is capable of giving me THIS outcome. Major surgery with major risk, no complications, in and out. Dr. Panchal has 20 years of experience as a spine surgeon. He ran the Spine Fellowship program as an associate professor at UC Davis before moving to Texas to start his own practice. He was referred to me by a rehabilitation physician who runs a number of local rehabilitation centers. I'm 53 and had a lot riding on this surgery. Choosing Dr. Panchal to be my surgeon was the best medical decision of my life.
