I've been coming to this laundromat for a while because, compared to many others in the area, it's larger, cleaner, and generally one of the better options available. Unfortunately, I've had repeated issues with one specific female attendant. The Latina woman and the older Latino gentleman are usually visible, helpful, and post signs when they step away. My experience with the Asian woman who works here has been very different. Today I arrived around 3:00 PM and saw her sitting in the corner. I loaded my laundry and then realized I had accidentally left both my laundry card and detergent at home. When I went looking for assistance around 3:20 PM, she was gone. No sign was posted indicating she was on break or when she would return. I spent over 20 minutes looking for her, checked around the laundromat, and even knocked on the employee door. Since I couldn't get help, I eventually had to go next door to buy detergent and figure out how to get the cash needed to purchase a new laundry card. The biggest issue is that the entire system depends on having an attendant available. A laundry card costs $3 and requires exact change. One bill breaker was out of service, and the other only breaks a $20 into two $10 bills or a $10 into two $5 bills. It does not provide $1 bills even though the card costs $3. The vending machines either rejected my money or only accepted $1 bills. In short, the machines don't provide the change needed, and the person who is supposed to help wasn't available. When I returned, another customer told me the attendant had not come back the entire time I was gone. The replacement attendant did not arrive until approximately 4:30 PM, meaning customers were left without assistance for roughly an hour with no explanation or posted notice. During that time, I watched two couples come in and leave because they couldn't get help. This is not the first issue I've experienced with this employee. On a previous visit, one of my washers never started because the door wasn't fully latched, and the problem wasn't noticed until I returned 30 minutes later. On another visit, I was told to take a dripping sheet outside and wring it out myself. It seems like disappearing for long periods of time is the norm for her. I have no issue with employees taking breaks. My issue is with a system that depends on staff assistance while leaving customers with no way to get help when staff are unavailable. This is one of the better laundromats in the area, which is exactly why these issues are so frustrating. Fix the change system, repair the broken equipment, and ensure customers have access to assistance when needed. read more

I've been coming here for years no problem until recently I noticed that the machine had taken a huge chunk of change from my card so I let the worker know of my issue they said it wouldn't be resolved till the next day and I asked her to take photos and look so I wouldn't seem like I was asking for a hand out I have been coming here for years not only did I not get a call but i was called a liar and disregarded if you expect to get your money back from a malfunction you sure ain't your better off anywhere else with quarters or better service read more

I've been to a couple of laundromats, but Mariya's is by far one of the better laundromats around. Parking: I have never struggled looking for parking because I always park in the front. There's a lot of downside parking in the front, but I always forget that there's a shaded parking lot in the back. Definitely a plus. Facilities: I do love not having to carry coins around, thanks to the use of laundry cards. Yes, you have to purchase it for a certain amount, but it's valid forever (I think). I recently reloaded a card that I had purchased years ago and found $5 leftovers and since I used up a 20 bill, I got $3 for free, that's like one load. The washing machines are as clean as it will get. Of course I always like to inspect and clean the machines prior to use. I did have to remove lints this time around since the last person that used the machine just left it. I also found a lighter in one of the machines I used (thank goodness it wasn't the dryer). This facility is clean compared to other places I've been to. I also like how it's not too busy/crowded because I think it's a little pricier than other laundromats. There are tables and chairs around but majority are taken by kids waiting for their parents, so once you score a table, try your best to not let it go. I was sitting in one of the empty tables and made the mistake of getting up to check on my machine. Not a second after I left, a guy took over my space. I didn't mind because there was another table open. Price: I think this place is a little bit more pricey. The 2-loads machine are $2+ while the 3-loads are almost $4. The dryers are $0.29 per 15 minutes and it takes about 3 rounds to make sure your clothes are dry. Overall a decent laundromat. read more

I've been coming to this laundromat aloft almost 3 years now, I came with my mom just today and we always bring outside food was never an issue because everyone dose it including the workers that are a couple here any ways today the man kept staring at me and my mother as we ate we didn't see a sign where it said no outside food because we come in through the back the man proceeds to say to my mother "no outside food because the inspector came the other day and the owner needs a special trash can for food waste and the owner is not willing to make that food waste trash can purchase" my mother then proceeded to say "I didn't see any sign I'm sorry won't happen again" I'm very annoyed because you guys have bending machines with FOOD but we can't bring food ? This is the first laundromat that I hear saying that. You will lose customers you lost multiple by doing this make it better. read more

I've come here just a handful of times and I've always had a positive experience. It's a very clean facility and the machines seem new. They have a variety of washers for 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 loads. Dryers are plentiful on the perimeter of the laundromat. All the machines operate via a plastic, magnetic-striped card. This can be a little intimidating if you're not tech savvy. For example, it trips me out how it loads money on the card. First you insert the card in the change machine. Then you remove it right away. Lastly, you insert the cash and press done. It's automatically loaded on your your card. How does that work when you just removed your card previously? A magical work of technological genius, I say!! So bring cash, no coins, unless you're going to be using the vending machines, kiddy rides, video games, massage chairs, merry-go-round, bubble gum machine, or air hockey table. This place has 4 big screen TV's, security cameras, and a 8 chair/table setups throughout. It also has 2 sinks, a drink vending machine, a snack vending machine, an ice cream freezer, and various games. They also do fluff-and-fold services and sell laundry soap and fabric softener. It can get a bit crowded in here because of the awesomeness of this place, so that can be a turn-off. Lastly, the last time you're allowed to put a load in is at 12:30 am which is amazing if you're a night owl like me! read more

This place is horrible the couple that work here will pay you for a new wash cycle if one messes up on you, but won't repair it they will jimmy rig it to work for the remainder of cycle and then take off the sign saying it doesn't work. Which in my eyes is sneaky and real conniving of this place. Then tries accusing me of messing up machine and when I ask her for her proof when I walk over and my machine is stopped because of a sensor issue the guy says it goes to repair but Halle s often. All I saw him do was bang the machine to make it work and voila takes sign off and says fixed. WORST LAUNDROMAT EVER! Avoid it. Been coming here for a solid 5 years to be treated such way by a employee that wants to sit back on their shift. read more

Best place to do laundry next to a Vallarta. The facility is clean and the machines after further inspection smell good and not like shit (I stuck my head inside the machine--trust me, I checked). A very nice amenity is when reloading your card with $20 you receive an additional $3! Free money is good. If you hate free money, don't come here. Bring cash with you when you need to reload your card, there's an atm here but it charges you $e to pull money out. Besides that I love this place. It's always clean and the staff is always helpful. They have different deals going on every day of the week. Their parking is pretty big. They have a small front parking and a big backlot parking area. read more

No more quarters! They make you pay $1 for the card and you add your money. By the time I added $15, the amount on the card totaled $17.50. I used that bill breaker to break down my $20 and man I was winning! I washed all of my clothes, my wife's clothes, my baby's clothes, and two giant comforters for only $11.50. I used three $3 size washers and two small washers. Dope! If u do the math that's 10 loads! My clothes are drying now for still that $15 and I still have $2-$3 left on my card. Would be a lot better if they had more $1.50 regular sized washers but other than that it's super dope! read more

It's kept clean, they have large and small machines and there are daily specials. The only downside I found with this place that they charge $3.00 for a laundry card. Everywhere else I have been they only charge $1.00 for a laundry card. I had been to this place years ago and it was only $1,00. You will get your $3.00 back if you put at least $20.00 on the card. I was annoyed by this as the day I came in with $18.00 thinking it would be more than enough to wash and dry my stuff. I was left $15 after buying the card which almost covered what I needed to wash. I had to scramble around for spare change so I could dry my stuff. They have an ATM inside but I only use bank ATM's. read more

I typically enjoy coming here it's pretty clean but one star because i was sitting at a table for 30 minutes that had a Starbucks cup on it when the owner of the place came up to me after a McDonald's run and told me i needed to move because that was where he wanted to eat his lunch and that the cup was there to save his spot. There were open tables he could have went to mind you. I thought this was rude and unnecessary and i will still come here but that was ridiculous. read more
