Camarones Aguachile
Honest Review S.

Tried this out after attending a baseball game and the aguachile was so fresh, spicy, and delicious. Waitress was great! Our drinks were always full. Lots of seating inside and even though it was a packed house, the food didn't take long and we were in and out in about 45 minutes. So good!

Loooove the food here. It's super authentic Mexican food. Even much so that I need my boyfriend to order in Spanish for me! Biting into the beef taco was so heavenly and this place has the best beans I've ever had in my life. Went on Father's day so it was pretty busy. I wish the restaurant was bigger and more insulated, my only two cents!

My partner's brother's girlfriend wanted to go to Mariscos Sinaloa for dinner while we were visiting Phoenix Arizona. My family and I had arrived at Mariscos Sinaloa around 7:30 P.M on a Sunday evening. There wasn't many people inside the restaurant and we were seated promptly. I wasn't too hungry and decided to split a kids meal with my daughter. I also had a few bites from my partner's entrée which was a chicken quesadilla and some chips/salsa. My daughter had mac n cheese and French Fries. The Mac N Cheese was a Kraft mac n cheese, but the French Fries were pretty good. My partner's quesadilla was scrumptious, with lots of chicken and cheese! My son enjoyed his grilled chicken breast, rice, and refried beans. Service was great at Mariscos Sinaloa! All of the meals were quickly prepared and the price wasn't too expensive!

Raw shrimp from ceviche

Saw really good reviews so we wanted to see I got the camarones a la diabla and it was only 5 camarones and the soup tasted like Maruchan caldo my husband order ceviche and shrimp was 100% raw not even cooked in lemon just opened cleaned and dropped inside the ceviche also 20 minutes for the girls to give us our bill and they are just inside don't even come outside to check they only come out if someone walks in awful!! Never coming again here

Ceviche de Camaron y Pulpo Tostada

Authentic Sinaloa food. We went during lunch and the restaurant was near empty which is sometimes worrisome but food was great and service was awesome. Portions were generous but a little on the pricey side for a few of the specialty items.

Margs
Akemi O.

Hubs and I went there about 7 years ago. We tell anyone who will listen how much we loved it. I went home and bought a molcajete just to try to recreate the molcajete barba roja. So of course we plan our road trip to pass through phoenix so we can eat there. Go in and seems a little different. They also spoke (broken) English. Last time, no one spoke English and we just pointed to pictures on the walls. Oh, no pics everywhere either. Hmm...hoping it's still the same. Start off with a round of margs. Yum. Could use a little more tequila, but no biggie. Ordered our molcajete. I loved it. Hubs thinks not as cheesey. Seemed smaller, but maybe b/c we had an extra person? Also got the shrimp culichi. Oh that was sooooo good. Needed more food...well, I didn't... ordered a different molcajete. We think if you combine the 2 we ordered, that would have been more like what we had last time. Both good though. Also ordered the whole fried snapper. Unfortunately what we got was the tilapia. Hawaii people don't eat tilapia for reasons I won't share. I wanted them to take it back and give us the correct fish, but the hubs felt bad since he ate some of it. Great experience. Not as good as remember and may not be as quick to book flights through PHO just to eat there, but if I'm back, I'm definitely stopping in.

The best mariscos I've had in the Phoenix area as of yet. The camarón was as big as the one's you'd find at the playas in Mexico.

A short walk from our hotel with an extensive menu and good beer selection. Plenty of great food options along with friendly service.

I always stop here when I'm traveling through PHX. As close to Sinaloa as you can get in the US.

The bartenders are wonderful and super helpful with recommendations, which we always appreciate. Our go-to drink is the Pretty Frosé and it's a must! Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's one of our favorite spots we keep coming back to.

The service was good, but not great, and the food was good, but not worth the money. We tried the Green Chili cornbread, and it was much sweeter than I expected, but it was good. The tacos were small 3" street tacos for $3 to $4. That's basically $1 per bite. I tried the chicken, beef, and carna asada. The chicken and beef had very good flavor with a hint of smoke, but the carna asada was dry and tasteless. I saw the food on the tablets next to us, and most of it looked like fairly small servings, except for a burrito one person had. It was huge, and looked good. The house Margaritas were served in a small rocks glass, and I didn't taste any triple sec, or much tequila either. The lime had a nasty taste to like they were old. For a $7 margarita it sucked, and they called that a special. If money is not a concern then maybe you'll like this place, but I wouldn't call it a good value at all. The flavors were good, but not at the price. They don't even give you free chips and salsa, and I saw the guacamole order next to us and it was a tiny serving for $11.

The parking lot outside was parking so we thought we may have to wait, but inside was not busy yet and we were seated immediately. I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Even with other people yapping around us, the noise level was perfect to enjoy company. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything tasted amazing and was served fresh and in a timely manner. We will most certainly be back (and you should visit, too!)!

We went to here as they were one of the late night spots still open. *This along with a hibiscus drink (large) and a cola! We also use to love the sushi side. During Covid, we tried the sushi for the first time. We were hesitant as it's a Mexican joint, right? Not a Japanese specialty shop. So to my surprise, I couldn't believe the sushi especially the Las Vegas roll and their Nigiri cuts were pretty dang good. My disappointment seems to be this last year with the sushi just hasn't been the best or fresh tasting. The Las Vegas roll was always nice and warm but with an awesome cold center and fried to perfection and the sauce just right. Lately it's been the opposite. Super over fried were all you can taste is old burnt oil and it dried out and the sauce just bland and not helping at all. The other thing that bothers us is the lack of wasabi they give! If you're not going to give us full flavor, at least give more wasabi to help mask. I will say they give you plenty of soy sauce packets (just barely any wasabi).
