This is the second time that I have come in and had an issue. The first time my money was set on the counter, and pushed towards me, instead of handed to me as I did her. The second time, there was a lack of eye contact and genuine customer service. As if hushing me out your door is polite.I am here Spending my hard earned money at your establishment. And Just because we do not belong to the same ethnicities/communities does not mean that you get to disrespect your customers. This has been my go-to seafood spot for years! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. I usually get camarones a la diabla with everything (2 types of salad, rice, and fries). The staff has always been friendly and the owner never forgets a face and will make small talk with you. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out! read more

Please don't listen to bad reviews. This place is amazing! It's family owned and operated! The mother made ceviche from learning from her mother in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! The ceviche is delicious and chopped finely to marry to flavors perfectly. They are the only place between Atlanta & Chattanooga with octopus! I live it grilled. The plates come with 3 sides. I'm trying to eat everything on the menu and will try the seafood soup soon. I always see real Hispanics here. This is not Taco bell & everything is made fresh so no, it doesn't come in 1 minute to the table. Relax. It is so worth it!!!! Just take in the decorations and music or tv. I enjoy this place! Cheap ingredients and slow as F. Always have to wait another 10 minutes to pick up takeout orders. AND please do not talk about the "chino" standing patiently in front of you, waiting for his order. Slow service, no customer service. Owners work there and will pass by your table many times and never ask if you need a refill even though you leave your cups at the end of the table so they can see you need refills. Sometimes I think friendly service makes food taste better. It's possible that's exactly what happened here. My mother's shrimp quesadilla was pretty plain: just shrimp and cheese in a tortilla with some shredded lettuce and a dollop of sour cream in the center of the plate. I ordered the fish tacos with flour tortillas. They came only with lettuce and fried tilapia...and maybe a little bit of mayo. They definitely weren't the best fish tacos I'd ever had. In stark contrast to the blah of our entrees, we also had a shrimp and octopus tostada with avocado and tomato. I loved it! An octopus is so intelligent. I felt honored to devour one. I also tried horchata for the first time. There was a picture of it on the menu, and when I asked what it was, our server brought me a sample. I ended up ordering a glass, but the cinnamon-y drink was a little to sweet for me to imbibe with my meal...so I sucked it down afterward. Based on the entrees we ordered, I would have given this restaurant 3 stars--or maybe even 2--but I think we just ordered the wrong things. According to our server, the quesadilla and tacos have been added to the menu recently. They might just need some revision. My favorite thing about the decor: the Poseidon mural painted outside. He was pictured amongst other sea creatures that seemed disproportionately large beside him. read more

The cocktails of shrimp are good , tostadas of octopus are overly priced and don't taste too well. The drinks are good just not the micheladas and the aguachiles are only if you like them with out flavor and paying for basically nothing because you get like three cucumbers and little to no shrimp. I got some stuff and it wasn't enjoyable it had little to no flavor. Ceviche is probably good just watch what you get. All in all I wasn't too satisfied for Mexican seafood read more

Really this is not a seafood restaurant all they have is tilapia and shrimp rice so I ordered a hamburger thinking should be safe oh no they messed that up. Well only wasted 599 on that between this and the cow sitting at the register we did manage a meal but yuk totally awful never go back. I don't mind paying for quality but I hate paying at a place that can't make a burger!!!! read more

Good Mexican food found in Georgia. I as amazed at how much Mexican food is available in dalton. This place was recommend by a family member as having really good fish tacos. I got the fried fish and my fiancé got his grilled. Both were tasty but I prefer the crunchy and crispy fish that comes with deep fried coating. As I watched others being served I couldn't help but notice that others around me were ordering the shrimp tacos. While I didn't have the opportunity to try them I will next time I'm in dalton. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because it's not as authentic as I'm use to being from California. But the place was friendly and service was decent. Came here On one of my visits to Dalton. It's not too often I find Mexican Sea food, so I was exited. The place is decent to look at, the outside i think its better with a lot of blue and sea painting very much like some local restaurants would be in Mexico. When I came in it took them a minute to ask me to take a seat, because of the service i Imagine they are used to the same customers who know the dynamic of the restaurant. This was not good for me because I felt the service was not very good. To me customer service is big and I like to be treated nicely and I always tip good. Once I was seated my server imidialty came and said "are you ready to order" to what I answer that I was not, I felt a little rush and I don't like that. Once I was ready I order a shrimp cocktail with everything, it had octopus and shrimp. I order a side of guacamole and a fish tostada. The cocktail was good and I would go back for that. The tostada I should have skip. The guacamole I did not like, the salsa that came with the chips was nice. The service I did not like, but the the shrimp cocktail was fresh and good. read more

This is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Dalton. The staff is so personable and great af making suggestions. Ask for Enrique, he is awesome and practices incredible customer service. Menu has a wide variety and everything we have had surpassed our expectations. 99 cent margaritas are very strong, the cheese dip is amazing and most entrees are under $10.
