Los Guerrero's - Yellow rice, refried beans, salad.. - Mexican Near Me - LaFayette, Georgia

See all

I've been coming here for over a decade, and it's still one of my absolute go-to spots. The food is consistently delicious every single time--no matter what I order, it never disappoints. You can really tell they care about quality and keeping things the same great standard over the years. The service is just as impressive. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. After all these years, it's rare to find somewhere that stays this consistent. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food and even better service! read more

Los Guerrero's - Mexican Near Me - LaFayette, Georgia

The food was amazing! I had a quesadilla with chicken, pineapple, mushrooms peppers and onions. This was a full double tortilla covered in queso! Excellent! The prices were way less than I am used to in the northern Atlanta suburbs. Service was great. Must have checked on us 5 times and never had to ask for anything. My son lives a block away so I think we'll be back for sure. read more

Food is always consistently good. Service is spot on. And you get good food for your money .

My friends and I were so surprised to see the inside compared to the outside. It's really nice and clean inside. Our server was so friendly and fast, he suggested the tasty beer and even put seasoning and lime inside. The food was really good and filling. The avocado salsa was absolutely amazing and spicy! read more

Still going strong and almost always fast, hot, and delicious! Less expensive than their competitor. The food is always consistent and haven't had any complaints in years. read more

Food and service is always amazing! No matter time of day foods always quality. Zully Chorizo is great.

Feel like the overall rating is pretty accurate for this place. Came in early on a Sunday morning when the place was just opening and they were ready to rock and roll. The service was great and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He made sure we never ran out of chips and salsa or water. Pro-tip, if you like spicy, ask for the picante with your chips. The lunch menu is a little cheaper and pretty good deal for what you get. It's $1 more though on weekends for lunch menu. I tried the lunch special number 1 and opted for the chicken burrito, which comes with rice and beans on the side. I also ordered an horchata but they forgot about that and didn't bring it unfortunately. My friends ordered the chimichanga and another burrito and they both liked their meals. None of us could finish and took boxes to go. The menu is so sprawling at this place that I'm not sure I can really speak to the quality of a lot of their food but we had a good experience. If you're looking for a lighter lunch meal this may not be the best place for you but maybe I just need a nap now. read more

WOW!!! Talk about fast On more than one occasion we've walked in with 6 to 10 people and got seated nearly immediately and chips and salsa showed up as we were sitting down. Large portion size for the price The fried ice cream for dessert is awesome All the servers I've been very attentive Alex and Martha are truly concerned with your entire dining experience read more

Took a customer for lunch. I ordered a ham torta. They were out of torta bread so they used a grilled burger bun. Still came out delicious and the fries were crunchy and delicious. Good prices. Friendly staff. Best Mexican in Lafayette. read more

They're always so nice and yummy! The prices are perfect . The portion sizes are nice even for when you get take out. I love this place .

Stopped by at 7pm on a Tuesday night, table of 8, seated right away. The chorizo dip was recommended and delicious. I got a pineapple margarita and my hubby got a jalapeño one. They were very good. Sopapillas and fried ice cream for dessert. Staff so friendly and accommodating. read more

In this small quiet town of LaFayette I can recommend this Mexican restaurant as the best I had tried in the area. The place was clean as were the bathrooms. The service was prompt and polite. The food came with large portions and tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered tacos the way I prefer and the waiter complied with all the fresh ingredients that I like. If you see yourself coming through this neck of the woods be sure to stop and take a taste of this good family run restaurant. read more

Best Mexican Food in town by far! My girls will only eat Los G's when we decide on Mexican...they refuse all others! Owners are wonderful and so awesome! read more

Way over priced food not good at all. Steak on my taco was beef jerky and cheese dip Watery me my wife and 2 kids was 70$ not worth it. read more

Friendly staff, spotless restaurant, fast hot food! Alex and Martha make everyone feel welcome!

Good Hispanic food, with decent service especially in Lafayette, Ga. Prices have gotten higher in recent years. They do have curbside and take out if you ask. read more

Meals had very generous portions, which was great! However, the fajitas I ordered were mushy and not very flavorful. Tortillas are not homemade and were bland, store bought. The beans and rice were really good, though. And I recommend the chorizo queso dip. I had some stomach problems for a few days after eating here but not sure if it was because of eating there or not. read more

I've never been disappointed coming here. I was a regular back in the Don Lo Lo's days when it took over the old steak house building next to Sonic. Alex and Martha really have a good thing going on, and the overly Americanized Mexican cuisine is a hit with the locals. Any night of the week it's packed. While it's not my favorite Mexican food in the world, I'm willing to give the credit where it is due when it comes to transferring customers from one location to another and consistently keeping busy. The Spinach Tostada is pretty bomb. read more

Oh my! Repeat performance tonight. Alex's special fajitas always satisfies. Best restaurant in N Georgia!!

Best restaurant in town. Only if you'd like to have prompt service, from very kind and attentive staff ...and the food is really good. I usually have the enchiladas or fajitas. They do have a 'Zully' section on the menu that is popular with kids that is a 'beef or chicken or shrimp with rice'. The 'Zully' name is from, I think a family member of theirs who preferred a plain rice dish. Cheese (Queso) dip is extra, however the complementary chips and salsa are usually on the table right after sitting down. read more

My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for years, starting from the first location down town. When we travel, we try other Mexican restaurants and cannot find anything we like better than this place here. The staff, the service and the food is excellent. read more

The best option (might I suggest the ONLY option) is the chips & salsa + yellowy cheese dip. This is a weird, crazed North Georgia aberration disguised as Mexican Food. And I thought I had it bad in Florida! I don't even know how to describe the quesadilla I received. It was more like a soft taco, which has been somehow crisped, then exploded the instant I tried to eat it. The innards melded with the runny refried bean soup and dried rice pellets on my plate to form a hybrid sentient life form of some kind. The kids bean burrito was a horror on a plate. It was a plate (full to the edge) of the aforementioned refried Bean soup with a flat, soaked tortilla in the middle. I have never before seen a bean burrito interpreted in such a way. I'll never forget it though, so it helped make my visit to Lafayette a memorable one! Every person at our table did not eat their food, and this was after driving 11 hours to the point of starvation. I would have eaten the leather off a shoe at this point. The cheese dip is basically velveeta level, but it enabled me to leave with food inside me and was edible! A plus was the salsa (I asked for the extra hot stuff and it was really good!) We ate chips, salsa, and cheese goo until we were full and called it a wash. read more

We've been eating at Los Guerreros since the opening 5 years ago, about 6-12 times every year. We've never had bad service or bad food. Alex and Martha moved to the area from Mexico about 15 years ago and have been an asset to the community since that time. My favorite dishes are Ambassador Dip (cheese/chorizo dip), fajitas, Shrimp Nachos. My husband typically likes the Specials. Always clean, always good, always friendly. PS Homemade (not Mexican) cheesecakes are to die for! read more

Absolutely fantastic! I eat Mexican a lot a s this is by for one of the best I have ever had! Food and Service were completely on point! Family owned and Ran! Kudos to this place! I will be back even though it's an hour drive from my house read more

We stopped in after a weekend camping for hot food on the way out of town. Service was kind and prompt. Our waiter was endearingly enthusiastic about the menu and specials. I ordered the stuffed poblanos with added chicken and a request for 'very little cheese'... unfortunately, the dish I was served was a lake of queso with two limp poblano rafts drowning in grease and regret. I was starving so down the hatch it went but I felt like my cheese request had been ignored. Overall, Los Guerrero's is okay but not noteworthy. read more

Average Mexican food. Kind of bland to me. Seems very popular but I will drive out if town for something more authentic and flavorful.

Best Mexican restaurant that we've been in a long time. Food was excellent and service was the same. We were just passing through, so glad we stopped! read more

Great staff but it's not authentic Mexican food. Very dry chicken in the chicken tacos. Best thing I had was the cheese dip.

My chicken was pounded flat and grilled to the point of shoe leather. Way to tough to eat and very salty. I took my vegetables off and sent the chicken back. The next piece was just as tough as just as salty. I sent it back and just ate the vegetables. The waiter apologized, said he tasted my chicken and agreed that it was bad. I'll stick to the Hawaiian chicken with grilled chicken chunks next time. read more

The best Mexican I've had in a long while. Good food fast service great customer service!! 9.5/10 no beer!

The best thing that I can say about this restaurant is that the wait staff was friendly and efficient. While the food was not bad, it was not great; the enchilada sauce was right out of the can. I would eat here again if all the other restaurants were closed. read more

I've been eating at Los G's since I was a baby. It was literally the first place I went out to eat. I usually go eat here once a week. I've been known to show up here about every other day. I LOVE IT. Owners are incredible and so are the workers. In my opinion no other Mexican restaurant comes close to theirs. read more
