Their salsa was weak and flavorless and service was very lacking and food took far too long to come out. It was good while it lasted but this ship has sailed. I wonder what the next restaurant will be in this location, at least they lasted longer than the hibachi/wing place.

Now, granted this is only our first time here, so we will have to test it out again before we truly switch. However, this was THE BEST Mexican we have ever had. Sever was a sweet older gentleman who referred to my husband as friend and was just the right amount of attentive. Sala was a slow heat, meat was wonderfully marinated and cooked to perfection, handmade chips for the tortaco nachos and the taco salad shell was so crispy and flaky! The price to us was fair for the portion and quality of the food. Try it for yourself! For reference, we ate around 6:30pm on a Sunday night.

We asked some people who live in Scottsboro and they said this place was good; they were right!…read more When we drove up, there were many cars outside indicating people inside. We were seated immediately by friendly staff. We ordered the queso and guacamole; the queso was watery with no spices but good. The guacamole looked like it had been whipped but had some spice to it. We ordered the ribeye steak and were told it was around 12 ounces. So we asked for an extra plate and split it. The green peppers and onions on the steak made it a flavorful entry. For dessert we had the sopaipillias. There were four with ice cream in the center. A total of around $40 plus tip for a great meal!

We always get the Guacamole Buenavista here. I felt like they used to make these table side, if not, for sure used to come in actual Guacamole form. Now they give you a plate with some sliced avocados on it with pico de gallo and call it a day. Taste? Not all that. Service? The server was kind of "attitutdy", so that didn't want to make me go back either. May be the best Mexican in town, but far from being actually good.

The restaurant was not crowded, nor even close to full. I placed my order and waited for 52 minutes. At 45 minutes, I went and asked what the problem was, they said they were just busy. I saw two tables, get their food, who had ordered after I had placed my order at the cash register. It being Mother's Day, I would've understood if they were extra busy. But they were not. I was also very disappointed at their lack of compassion, maybe I'm not sure what I would call their attitude, but I was very disappointed. All I got was two taco salads, one order of nachos, a shrimp cocktail, and cheese dip. Nothing different or extraordinary.
