They have some really unique items and some really good prices! Evan had the Cotija cheese I'd been looking for to make Mexican style street corn. Now, back to the restaurant. To catch you up with where we were at .... WOW! So obviously they started with chips and salsa. Really good fresh tasting salsa ... not to spicy, but still really fresh. Menu had so many options it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. Ended up going with the Flautas and had to add on a tamale. The Flautas were some of the best I've ever had (Chicken). Golden fried perfection with a generous portion of chicken on the inside of each one. Tamale, was really good and authentic as well. Great customer service, they checked on us a few times through the meal to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was good. Really can't think of much they could do different except have a location closer to home. If you find yourself in Collinsville, do yourself a favor and stop by this place .... well worth slotting a little time to spend here.

The chips were nasty, stale and inedible. My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla. It wasn't grilled! Just chicken inside a tortilla. I ordered a beef torta. The bread was dry. I elected to eat only the filling. 8 hours later I was purging. With many Mexican restaurants available in Fort Payne I'd avoid this one at all costs.

The service was working out the kinks in the beginning but has found an even keel. The ambiance is nice outside if it's cool enough, there's a fountain and nice area. The restaurant inside is basic but efficient. The last time I had gone, they were still working on the liquor license which I think is hurting some of the business. But it's a nice place to take someone on a date or family group.

I pass by this place occasionally and have always wondered what was going on in there. Was hungry…read moreand the right place and the right time to stop in and give them a try today. It went great. To start, the place is huge. Tons of seating including lots of outdoor tables overlooking some water, and a big open dining room with a full bar indoors. About that, the whole place is very open-air. It's got beach vibes and with the way it's set up, even if you're inside, you're gonna get some warm summer air, so be ready for that. Was met at the host stand by happy and lively people who took me straight to a table and someone came along immediately to take my order. So the service was top notch. It took me a minute to decide what to order because the menu has a little bit of everything. Oysters, snow cones, burgers, wings, various types of seafood, pizza, and a full coffee menu with lattes etc. So no matter what you're looking for they've got it. I kept it simple and got a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The fries were crisp, the burger was fresh and had a homemade vibe to it that kind of pushed it over the edge. Really good. Pretty sure I kind of inhaled it in record time. Would order again. Long story short this place kind of has it all. A broad menu, a laid back vibe, seating with a view, solid execution from the kitchen, and a super friendly staff. Don't think twice, if you're in the area, this is the spot. 5 stars.

Our friendly server followed us over with menus and got our drink requests. She was professional and kind and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. A bar food menu, we started off with the chips and salsa. The chips were out of a bag and the salsa from a jar. It was okay but nothing special. Basically what you would do at home. I opted for their Pontoon Nachos, a huge serving of the same chips, with a little chili beans, some queso, a little diced tomato and jalepenos with sour cream and red salsa on the side. Again, they were okay nothing great, I make better at home. Had a cold Stella in the bottle with my snack. It was good. A popular place with the locals, water access for boaters with road front access for everyone else. Its obvious that you are paying for the view here. The food is mediocre at best. 3 Stars it served its purpose sort of, a great view and friendly staff 01281
