Stopped in for lunch one afternoon while visiting the area. A beautiful location, right on the waters edge. Open air, with covered outside lots of deck seating as well as tables with umbrellas on the decks. Walked in and the sign said sit where you like, so we found a table in the shade covered area. Our friendly server followed us over with menus and got our drink requests. She was professional and kind and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. A bar food menu, we started off with the chips and salsa. The chips were out of a bag and the salsa from a jar. It was okay but nothing special. Basically what you would do at home. I opted for their Pontoon Nachos, a huge serving of the same chips, with a little chili beans, some queso, a little diced tomato and jalepenos with sour cream and red salsa on the side. Again, they were okay nothing great, I make better at home. Had a cold Stella in the bottle with my snack. It was good. A popular place with the locals, water access for boaters with road front access for everyone else. Its obvious that you are paying for the view here. Well, we gave the place a shot. When we arrived at 3:40 PM we were told to seat ourselves. 17 minutes later I went to the bar/bartender and asked if we could get a server. She yelled at the 8 that were standing around having a big time and one came to ask what we wanted to drink. Well she messed that up. Then she messed up the app (ordered directly from the menu). When the app came out correctly so did our food. It was not anything special. AFTER......we sat for 15 minutes waiting on the bill. Again, no server so my wife went to the bar again for the bill. $100 later (3 of us) we left and the 8 "servers" were standing at the hosted desk with their phones out with no thank you or anything I'll make sure that we won't be back as well as anyone I suggest the area to. read more

The pontoon nachos are just massive in serving. They are served on a tray approximately 20"-24" round. They are filled with all sorts of toppings. The service is hit and miss. I did not care for the catfish and that's usually a favorite of mine. Being able to sit by the lake is great. I'm still trying to find food I enjoy eating and have had no luck. Can't find anything here that is actually good. Tonight I ordered the Chicken Breast sandwich and it was literaly inedible. The chicken was so dry and hard it was difficult to chew and totally tasteless. It was the worst chicken breast sandwich I have ever had. Family of 7 stopped here on a Sunday afternoon while traveling on vacation. WOW! The view was incredible and it was the perfect day to sit outside. Since everyone was hungry, I asked what the waitress recommended and she suggested a few things, one being the pontoon nachos. Excellent recommendation! Perfect for all of us to share. Catfish was fresh and absolutely delicious! My daughter got a burger and said it was the best burger she's ever had at a restaurant. We went with a very large group, kids included, and they were very accommodating. Great little server! I highly recommend the MVP frozen drink in the fresh pineapple!! The way Audie treats his employees is very unusual. cussing in a very unprofessional way. he is very rude and selfish, being mad at his servers because they have to attend to more than 50 people at one time. the waitress was only there for 2 weeks and it was a lot for her to handle at one time with no help, then proceeded to take her outside because she was upset and overwhelmed and continued to fire her. I think until this place learns how to respect their employees. the same way their employees have to respect the managers. Never been here before today, but I will definitely be back in the warmer months! The dining room is very nice, no wait for us today. The deck area was closed due to rain and it was too cold anyway. The prices are reasonable and there is a good bit of food to choose from. I have heard about their burgers, so that's what I went with. I was not disappointed! Very fresh and very good! The potato salad is very good and I recommend trying it! Our server was very polite and knowledgeable. The table was clean and the it wasn't too loud in the dining room. They have plenty of tvs if the game is on. The only thing I didn't like was there was a sports talk show on one of the TVs and that's what they chose to put over their music system. Some music would've been a better choice. This place does advertise live entertainment and there is a lot of room out on the deck to accommodate everyone!
