The chips were nasty, stale and inedible. My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla. It wasn't grilled! Just chicken inside a tortilla. I ordered a beef torta. The bread was dry. They have some really unique items and some really good prices! Evan had the Cotija cheese I'd been looking for to make Mexican style street corn. Now, back to the restaurant. To catch you up with where we were at .... WOW! So obviously they started with chips and salsa. Really good fresh tasting salsa ... not to spicy, but still really fresh. Menu had so many options it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. Ended up going with the Flautas and had to add on a tamale. The Flautas were some of the best I've ever had (Chicken). Golden fried perfection with a generous portion of chicken on the inside of each one. Tamale, was really good and authentic as well. Great customer service, they checked on us a few times through the meal to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was good. Really can't think of much they could do different except have a location closer to home. If you find yourself in Collinsville, do yourself a favor and stop by this place .... well worth slotting a little time to spend here.
