    Fried fish

4.75 food was very good. Service was nice and chill. Fried fish was perfectly fried just personally a little bit of salt and lemon would make it 10/10 dish. Tostada especial was a 7/10, I would just add some salt as well but the avocados are were perfect. Tostada de ceviche was 8/10, the base was very good just a little more flavor would be great. Fish taco was 9.5/10 very good. Shrimp burrito was 6/10 maybe just not for me, don't know what was off, maybe it was a little sweet? The sauce on the side was a 7, pretty good.

Asada burrito and shrimp burrito- you can't go wrong

Mariscos Pericos is EVERYTHING! We have been going to this amazing Moorpark seafood based food truck weekly for a long time- Flavor and Value! Portions are pleasing and we always have food left for another meal. Coastal Mexican dining at its best- Maria, Javi and her familia are wonderful hosts and amazing cooks. Shrimp burrito and fish tacos to "dive" for! Empanadas crisp and delicious- Carnivores have no fear, as the carne asada is incredibly good- The fresh made salsas and sauces are yummy and I'm a nut for the pink sauce ( not to be confused with the crappy one from TikTok- You can find them on High Street - Be advised there are two trucks on that stretch of road- this one is usually closer to the train station, by its overflow parking lot...

We are big fans of these fish tacos and freshly made fixings

This is the best food truck in California. FACT. My wife and I have been eating here in Moorpark for a long time. We love the seafood tacos and burritos from this truck. I get the Asada burrito and my wife loves the Shrimp burrito- We big love sharing the fish tacos And the ceviche... We really dig the empanadas as well. If I was having an event, I would hire them to cater. There is plenty of fast, easy free parking for takeout pickup and they've set up a table to eat on the spot, under shady trees to keep cool-

We had plans to dine elsewhere and when we arrived it was a sold out event even though I was never told that when I called earlier in the week that there was going to be a different situation (that is another story for later) So here we were a party of four looking to dine somewhere locally at prime dinner hour and striking out. My wife called MB Grille as we were already heading in that direction and talked to Alice and she allowed us to put our name on the list with the intent of us arriving in 10 minutes. We did arrive on time and the place was packed, we did get seated shortly after we arrived and Riley was our server. What a friendly easy going helpful person she was, answering questions that we had and getting answers for the questions she didn't have. Very attentive checking on us numerous times. We have dined here before and the fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection, Oysters are always good and the cocktails always spot on and refreshing. Big shout out to Riley on this one, great service is just as important as delicious food. And a great hostess such as Alice keeps the incoming customers flowing and happy and feeling welcome. Thank you both for making a fall out evening into a dining pleasure. Well done Riley and MB Grille, as always we will see you again soon. Bon Appetitto

The mall this place is in is a dump. There is a Mexican restaurant next door. I mention this because there is the crab/seafood menu and then there is an extensive Mexican food menu as well. I wonder if they just get the Mexican food from the restaurant next door? I don't know, nothing wrong in that. The tables have a paper "tablecloth" on them with plastic utensils. The reason for this is they don't use plates. They just bring you your seasoned seafood in a double plastic bag, and it is dumped out onto the paper "tablecloth". I saw this happening at the only other occupied table and immediately lost my appetite. My wife, undeterred, ordered some mussels. Ordinarily, we'll also order vegetables with any meal, but the side servings of vegetables are priced like filet mignon. I asked if I ordered the chips & guacamole, did it come with a serving of salsa? Alas, our server said no. What does a tiny amount of salsa cost a restaurant? 50 cents? So, I stuck with a glass of water. I was done. I couldn't bring myself to eat here. My wife ate a few of the mussels, digging them out from the plastic bags with her plastic fork. She said they were "ok" but we paid and departed, after a very poor experience. No pictures because I wasn't in the mood.

But it is REALLY loud. There were maybe 9 people in there and you had yell at the person next to you because it's all concrete and metal. Not sure who thought this would work but it definitely does not. Also doesn't look like anyone had a plan of what they wanted the space to be. Live music? DJ? The acoustics are going to be awful. It's a massive space with a bunch of tables and nothing else. It's quite simply just odd. As for the food, it's not good. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. Pretty bland and nothing is fresh. It's also outrageously overpriced. Chicken fajitas were meh and they were $27.00. We got shrimp and they were rubbery and came in a plastic bag, which was in a bucket. Weird. Also, no silverware. Only plastic. Just a headscratcher all around. The website says they have happy hour but they didn't have a separate menu. Just two dollars off drinks is what w were told. Probably why it was empty at 5:30. Also weird. They have this huge space and don't seem to have any idea what to do with it. Drinks were the same as the food. Wildly overpriced and the bartender didn't seem to know what they were doing. So, fitting for the overall concept. I was excited about the new bar because we have an office down the street but this looks like a hard pass for me. 5 stars is for the staff because they were great.

Don't sleep on their homemade dill tartar sauce! The hush puppies were some of the best I've had in these parts, and the collard greens tasted like true home cooking. I love that the collard greens were slightly salty and very flavorful. A good traditional collard greens. As for the fried catfish, phenomenal. Super light and crispy, perfect white meat fish (not gritty or dark). What really stood out though was the genuine warmth of the service. I was actually their first customer of the day and they surprised me with a slice of sweet potato pie. The staff took the time to chat with me, made me feel at home, and even walked me out, opening the door and helping me with my bag full of food. That kind of care is rare these days and I can safely say service is a 10/10. I felt that prices were reasonable for the amount of food given. This is def a tucked away spot and I hope more people find them. I really want a spot like this to make it and as they are new I really want them to feel welcomed and to have a good turn out. Parking was easy at lunchtime and the interior was clean and open. I opted to take my food Togo but they did have a few tables and high tops for dinning in. I'll definitely be back :)

Why the two stars? Employees are disrespectful, rude, and need anger management training to name a few. My parents are very old. They are hard of hearing. Server came to drop off an order of clam chowder. She asked whose it was. My parents were slow to respond. She had little patience and set it down hard on the table where you hear the dish clattering. If it wasn't a thick soup it would've splattered on the table. Our food arrived and plate setting still haven't. So we sat there staring at our food with no utensils to eat it with. Server gave us the wrong check. I always have confidence they get it right so I paid it using my phone. After I paid it I realized they made me pay for someone else's bill. So I let the waitress know and all the sudden her manager comes to me upset like I'm the one who made the mistake. So they shrug it off and just said it's ok we transferred your payment to your real bill. I'm like well can you show me what the real bill looks like???? They just wanted me to trust them again? Seriously. So they show me the bill and they had the audacity to apply the tip I had originally given on a larger bill to this smaller one. Really???? You guys think you can decide the tip? You think you still deserve tip? After being rude to my parents. After making all these mistakes. Really? Then I told the manager you guys are the ones that made the mistake. I should also be shown my actual bill and what I was charged considering you made the mistake. And you're going to come at me with all this anger??? She responds with you're the one who's angry and walked away. These people are terrible. But the food was good
