Delicious seafood and warm hospitality! As a seafood lover, I am always on the lookout for places that do great seafood, especially shrimp. I stumbled upon this little eatery, and I am looking forward to try all the dishes in the menu. Located on Thousand Oaks Boulevard near Rancho Road, this restaurant is located in a strip mall. Parking is ample in front of the restaurant. The menu offerings are simple but diverse. There are burritos, tacos, and Asian noodles with tempura shrimp. There is also a tuna poke and vegetarian offerings of fried avocados in lieu of shrimp. I tried the tuna poke and I would give it 9 out of 10. The serving portion was generous, and the tuna felt fresh. The side portion of warm rice with tuna and avocado felt like a light but substantial meal. On my second visit, I tried the garlic noodle, and I would give it 6.5 out of 10. While I loved the fried shrimp, the noodles was too salty and I needed to wash it with water. The serving size was very generous, and it was enough to last two meals. The cost of entrees were around $16-$25. The ingredients felt fresh, and the entrees were all made to order. As for the service, patrons will order/pay at the counter, and the server will deliver the dishes to your table when ready. There was also a water station on the side. As hungry as I was, I got a couple of bite of that and had some order envy. The California shrimptruck burrito looks like a great option next time I come by. We also had the shrimp tacos (grilled instead of tempura fried) which were also great in flavors and ample shrimp. We noticed a family sitting next to us that had a burrito that was ginormous & they too were commenting on the tastiness of the food. The chef is very friendly & attentive to all customers, and told us about his fish burrito--something for us to go back for in the near future. Owner left a vent in box so shrimp stayed crispy. It took longer than usual to get home so they weren't as crispy as if I ate there. But still delicious.
