We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Once we were seated our waitress took our drink orders and brought us the chips and salsa. This was very important because we were all famished. The atmosphere was fine. We got to sit in a booth which is what we prefer. This was only the second time I have ever been here. The last time was in 1998. After this experience I will definitely return. I will not wait 28 years.

A classic authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Selma. I have attended this restaurant for…read moreyears, even before its current name. I recently returned and I fell in love all over again. This genuinely is great tasting food. The ambience is calm and welcoming, I absolutely love the hand painted murals throughout. The music played during my visit was beautiful and classic Mexican music including, Vicente Fernandez, Banda Recodo. My only complaint / concern is our table was very wobbling / unstable. Our drinks almost spilled. We physically (the customers) had to fix the table by using a napkin to enjoy our meal peacefully. All in all had the table been addressed prior I would definitely leave 5 stars.

She helped us narrow down some amazing vegan options and really knew what was in everything, which made ordering so easy. I got the portobello fajitas with black beans and cilantro-lime rice, and my husband went with the fajita burrito. Both were absolutely delicious and the portion size was massive. Veronica must be a mind reader because every time I even thought about wanting more chips and salsa, they magically appeared before I could ask. Great food, great service, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. Can't wait to go back!

Then the day comes when you say 'screw it' and finally decided to go in, only to get blown away. Yeah, that's EXACTLY what happened in my case. I finally decided to go in and check it out after hearing many good things about and it was AMAZING. The attendants behind the counter super courteous and sweet, heck, I felt like the most important person in there. A nice atmosphere despite having to remove their dinning area due to COVID, but from what I saw, it carried a good ambiance. Anyways, I got to the counter and ordered my food (shrimp fries), waited a bit and then was given it. Right away I could SMELL the shrimp and boy was my mouth watering. Ugh-- totally swooned right then and there. It was really hard to resist the urge of just sitting in my car and eating the whole thing right there. Nevertheless, I made it home in the end with my precious package intact and it was still friggin piping hot. So much shrimp was packed into along with gooey cheese and some sort of sauce. I didn't know what it was, but it was delicious. It was a massive portion too. Needless to say, I wasn't able to finish it all in one go, but that only meant I'd have more for later! All in all, l LOVED the experience and I LOVED the food. I will definitely be stopping by here again!
