Decided to give this little Mexican food spot a try, and let's just say... it exceeded our expectations! The menu isn't huge, but it has all the basics you'd expect, plus plenty of options for the kiddos. The service was fast, friendly, and on point! Our waitstaff was always checking on us, keeping those refills coming, and even asked if we wanted more chips & salsa. Prices were very inexpensive! You can definitely tell the locals love this place--and now, I have to say, we're fans too! Friendly people working there, friendly customers, great food, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. Sometimes those little local spots turn out to be the best finds! Great experience all around and definitely a place we'd come back to! read more

I'm sorry it just wasn't good ‍ I got the chicken enchiladas and it tasted like canned food. Felt like it was pretty short staffed since there was a queue of people waiting by the door when we left. We dined in but I would say it's more of a grab and go spot. 2 stars because the staff was friendly and we got chips and salsa to start (the best part of the meal) read more

$13 breakfast burrito! Size of a $20 bill, I asked for potatoes, bacon, cheese, and eggs. Asked if I can add some cooked onions, she said "we don't do that, sorry". Got my burritos that's maybe worth $7 at any other restaurant, if it was done correctly. This one had maybe 1 piece of chopped bacon in the whole burrito and NO cheese. Embarrassing! Won't be going here anytime soon. I recommend the Antonio's breakfast burrito in Selma! Way better! read more

This WAS our to go place for a quick dinner. Last night was the worst experience ever!!! The waitress, obviously Spanish speaking only, took order, brought food and tea. However, I drank my tea before i got dinner (chips and salsa), I asked for more, never saw my glass again, the rest of dinner no liquid. Then I had eaten all but 2 bites of my taco, she came over grabbed my plate and my hubby's!!! Neither one of us were done!!! I was pissed!!! Off my list of places to go!! read more

Juanito's has consistently been the best burrito place in town for years. It looks like a hole in the wall and they don't always answer the phone but you can't beat their chili verde buddy burrito. The homemade chips are also a highlight. The portions are big but the prices are reasonable. read more

Do not eat here if there are more than two tables, the waitress won't understand your order and the cook will mess it up more. Always good on a slow day...but like I said if there are more than 2 tables you're screwed read more

Food was okay, chicken was dry but salsa was good. Service was good. However, restaurant wasn't very clean and flies everywhere. Menu prices did match what was charged, almost a dollar difference between what we saw on the menu and what was charged. When I go to eat my food I notice a weird speck...turns out to be an ant. I was too far away to bother going back. read more

A gem if this is on your way home from work and you can order takeout. Chile verde is great, quesadillas can be stuffed with meat (and have authentic cheese), main dishes are really good. The rice and beans were fine. Chips were nothing to write home about. The restaurant itself is a whole-in-the-wall type: small and basic. There are tables, including a couple big enough for 6-8 people if you've got to get out of the house. There is actual table service, which pleasantly surprised me. Restroom is clean, parking is ample. There seems to be a related food truck with outdoor tables and different hours in the parking lot. read more

The food was very. Good and service was great. And you can't beat the price. It's a little hard to find but when you find it you're be glad you're here read more

I had heard through the grapevine that Juanita's is a descendent of my favorite Mexican restaurant--La Esperanza in Cutler. I was back in my hometown from Bakersfield, and decided I would give it a try. First, came chips and salsa. The salsa was fantastic. It was a fresh tomato salsa, bursting with flavor, mild/medium heat. Very different from the tomatillo salsa at La Esperanza, but even better. I ordered the chile verde quesadilla/enchilada combo. The chile verde was a top 5 ever CV, but not quite the #1 of LE. The enchilada was spot on the same as can be found at LE. The rice was solid, and the beans were excellent. Service was very friendly. My perception after the first visit is that much of Reedley hasn't discovered this gem. I'll be back for sure. You should pay it a visit. read more

Best burrito in town. The restaurant is a hole in the wall type of place but it was pre-covid when I last ate inside so this review is based specifically off of the take out experience. If you call in, they're always quick. Our food only took 15 minutes at dinner time on a Friday night. My husband and I always go for the buddy burrito with chicken. If you order chips and salsa to go, they give you 10x more chips than salsa, but if you ask for a large salsa, they give you a 16oz cup full of it and then you don't have enough chips. ‍ read more

I had ordered Juanito fries which is supposed to be :Chile verde, cheese and fries . I was very disappointed because there was not 1 piece of meat , Chile Verde is meat with green sauce ! Why stick the spoon in the pot just to fill it with sauce and leave the meat ? This family owned Business is talked about that they are too stingy with the food and I decided to see for myself ,yup I need to listen to fellow yelps. Why wasn't I told at ordering that I have an option of meat in my disappointment of a meal ... oh and by the way mostly all the GREEN SAUCE was in the bottom corner of my plastic bag! I Do not recommend this disappointing joint . I had even called and complained, I spoke to my server which didn't even try to correct the issue , I was as respectful and polite as possible hoping a turn around to come out of the Wreckage . I will move on for sure . read more

2 for promptness. Just wondering if they are under new ownership/management. The food has really gone down. Rice has been undercooked & flavorless. Refried beans tasted like old oil & were so runny & also flavorless. Taco shell were so greasy they broke open as soon as picked up. read more

Easy counter service with some casual exterior seating. Nicely surprised with my fish tacos. Lightly breaded, perfectly seasoned. Definitely very good for the price point. It's a tad far off the 99 but if passing through town it's worth the stop especially for take out. read more

Horrible service and food looked and tasted awful. I ordered the taco and enchilada, the ground beef looked it was stored in a refrigerator without covering it and reheated. The rice was pale and hard. What ambiance?? Nothing and plain on walls for decor. read more

The place is small, so if you are looking to fit a large party I would probably go elsewhere. The service is quite good, very attentive and they make sure you are being well taken care of. We ended top sharing a wet chili verde burrito and some chips and salsa with a side of guacamole. The meat in the burrito was a little dried out as if it's not left warmed with the sauce or maybe under a heat lamp. The chips tasted fresh and were not hard at all unlike some other places. The guacamole wasn't anything to write home about due to the fact hat is was just mashed up avocados, so definitely nothing different that you can't mash up at home without trying. read more

Delicious food. Service is great, atmosphere is authentic. JP is an awesome human being.

Great tasting Mexican food! Was able to stop in on my way back to Fresno. Ive always heard good things about the Chili Verde plate and fries! Definitely can't go wrong with the Juanitos fries. Also the guacamole I do recommend ! Not to far from Fresno and worth the drive for some authentic Mexican food. read more

I got an asada burrito with just rice and beans and it was so salty. I'm not sure if it was the meat or the rice but it was not good.

Food is good. Use to be spicier. We like our food spicy but the food is yummy. Service is on the slow side not too bad. It's ok.

One of our favorite places to go. Staff are always helpful and nice. Food is always good!! Definitely a must try for all. The taco truck parked in front is also a great place to grab something "quick" if you don't want to eat in the restaurant. Good food all around. read more

Been coming here for years, buddy burrito is my go to with Chile verde. Only disappointing thing is the service! Some waitresses are awesome and some are rude! Also chips and salsa are free if you dine in but are like $7 to go which is ridiculous!!!! Chips and salsa should be complimentary! read more

Small place, big portions and fresh with A/C. I wanted to try this place for a while and since I was running errands in Reedley I was like don't hurt to try and boy was it good. It's hot outside, almost 85 degrees and Juanito's had that place like 72 degrees that in my book is a star itself in rating. Once we settled the waitress a young lady introduce herself and asked us what we needed. I quickly ordered their best plate which was the Super Buddy Burrito. SB burrito was highly addictive and flavors were just perfect not too salty and not too spicy, just the way daddy likes it ;-). I really wanted to try the Horchata but unfortunately they were out today and I was bummed out since I love Horchata with my Mexican food. But the food, and the chips with salsa was delicious also. Any restaurant who makes at least almost everything from scratch is a winner winner. I rate this place a 4.0 read more

We ordered food from them for our mothers services and we ran out of food (our fault, we underestimated) we called Juanito's and he helped in in a pinch! The food was delicious, their service is always polite and they went above and beyond to help us in a pinch when we needed more food. Definitely would recommend them! read more

If you are a Reedley native, then you know Juanito's. If you are from out of town, EAT HERE!!! It may look a little sketchy, but believe me... the food is some of the best authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico. I usually prefer the shredded beef quesadilla with verde sauce on top OR the Super Buddy Burrito. The restaurant is usually understaffed (and some times underaged staff ;) but always friendly and very quick to meet your needs and hunger. read more

Bitch ass cashier & waitress. She messed up my order and she had the nerve to ask my dad if it was her fault that she messed up when it clearly was her fault. I have been to this restaurant several times since I was a little girl, and I have never had a terrible experience until now. One of the waitresses messed up my sisters order and never apologized for her mistake even after we respectfully asked her if she could fix my sister's meal. The waitress overcharged my family and was about to have an argument with my dad when it was clearly her fault in the situation. So unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I am never coming back to this restaurant ever again. read more

Never any meat in the burritos and what scraps you do find look like roadkill! Great place to eat! My favorite is the chile verde quesadilla, it's to die for! Chips and salsa are addicting although sometimes it's real spicy! The prices are reasonable. Always check you're order before leaving "take out". I made the mistake without cutting into my breakfast burrito , only to find out it was missing potatoes when I specifically asked for them inside . I called back to speak to the server to inform her about my order She stated "I didn't get that" I specifically stated egg Chile verde beans and potatoes. It's totally understandable if it's busy but in this case it was not . She didn't offer to remake my burrito but to give me a side of potatoes what good is that going to do now? One thing I've learned about serving for 14 years always listen carefully to details it's never good to have incomplete "take out" orders . read more
