The rice and beans were fine. Chips were nothing to write home about. The restaurant itself is a whole-in-the-wall type: small and basic. There are tables, including a couple big enough for 6-8 people if you've got to get out of the house. There is actual table service, which pleasantly surprised me. This WAS our to go place for a quick dinner. Last night was the worst experience ever!!! The waitress, obviously Spanish speaking only, took order, brought food and tea. However, I drank my tea before i got dinner (chips and salsa), I asked for more, never saw my glass again, the rest of dinner no liquid. Juanito's has consistently been the best burrito place in town for years. It looks like a hole in the wall and they don't always answer the phone but you can't beat their chili verde buddy burrito. The homemade chips are also a highlight. The portions are big but the prices are reasonable. read more

I had heard through the grapevine that Juanita's is a descendent of my favorite Mexican restaurant--La Esperanza in Cutler. I was back in my hometown from Bakersfield, and decided I would give it a try. First, came chips and salsa. The salsa was fantastic. It was a fresh tomato salsa, bursting with flavor, mild/medium heat. Very different from the tomatillo salsa at La Esperanza, but even better. I ordered the chile verde quesadilla/enchilada combo. The chile verde was a top 5 ever CV, but not quite the #1 of LE. The enchilada was spot on the same as can be found at LE. The rice was solid, and the beans were excellent. Service was very friendly. My perception after the first visit is that much of Reedley hasn't discovered this gem. I'll be back for sure. You should pay it a visit. read more

Best burrito in town. The restaurant is a hole in the wall type of place but it was pre-covid when I last ate inside so this review is based specifically off of the take out experience. If you call in, they're always quick. Our food only took 15 minutes at dinner time on a Friday night. My husband and I always go for the buddy burrito with chicken. If you order chips and salsa to go, they give you 10x more chips than salsa, but if you ask for a large salsa, they give you a 16oz cup full of it and then you don't have enough chips. ‍ read more

I had ordered Juanito fries which is supposed to be :Chile verde, cheese and fries . I was very disappointed because there was not 1 piece of meat , Chile Verde is meat with green sauce ! Why stick the spoon in the pot just to fill it with sauce and leave the meat ? This family owned Business is talked about that they are too stingy with the food and I decided to see for myself ,yup I need to listen to fellow yelps. The place is small, so if you are looking to fit a large party I would probably go elsewhere. The service is quite good, very attentive and they make sure you are being well taken care of. We ended top sharing a wet chili verde burrito and some chips and salsa with a side of guacamole. The meat in the burrito was a little dried out as if it's not left warmed with the sauce or maybe under a heat lamp. The chips tasted fresh and were not hard at all unlike some other places. The guacamole wasn't anything to write home about due to the fact hat is was just mashed up avocados, so definitely nothing different that you can't mash up at home without trying. read more

Great tasting Mexican food! Was able to stop in on my way back to Fresno. Ive always heard good things about the Chili Verde plate and fries! Definitely can't go wrong with the Juanitos fries. Low quality ingredients and before they will tell you they don't have Chili Verde, they will give you a burrito full of just rice with a lil sauce on top of it! One of the waitresses messed up my sisters order and never apologized for her mistake even after we respectfully asked her if she could fix my sister's meal. Small place, big portions and fresh with A/C. I wanted to try this place for a while and since I was running errands in Reedley I was like don't hurt to try and boy was it good. It's hot outside, almost 85 degrees and Juanito's had that place like 72 degrees that in my book is a star itself in rating. Once we settled the waitress a young lady introduce herself and asked us what we needed. I quickly ordered their best plate which was the Super Buddy Burrito. SB burrito was highly addictive and flavors were just perfect not too salty and not too spicy, just the way daddy likes it ;-). I really wanted to try the Horchata but unfortunately they were out today and I was bummed out since I love Horchata with my Mexican food. But the food, and the chips with salsa was delicious also. If you are a Reedley native, then you know Juanito's. If you are from out of town, EAT HERE!!! It may look a little sketchy, but believe me... the food is some of the best authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico. I usually prefer the shredded beef quesadilla with verde sauce on top OR the Super Buddy Burrito. The restaurant is usually understaffed (and some times underaged staff ;) but always friendly and very quick to meet your needs and hunger. read more
