I visited in January 2026 for lunch and ordered a chile verde meal plate. Unfortunately, the chile verde lacked flavor--there wasn't even any salt. It was terrible. Thinking the cook might just be having a bad day, I decided to try tacos today. I ordered two lengua tacos and one tripas taco, but instead, I was served some sort of burnt shredded beef, and the tripas were also burnt. I finally spoke up and informed the cook that the meat was not lengua. She insisted it was, but I even took a piece and showed her how lengua shreds differently. I am a harsh critique for this type of food and today's risk paid off in a tasty reward. My meal consisted of a sope of carnitas and two tacos; one asada & one al pastor. The first bite is everything and it delivered with a well balanced flavor, texture and spice. Every bite of .... well everything was better than the previous and before I knew it I was singing the mmm mmm mmm's. I came back a week later and had an asada burrito and it too was great. Service is pretty good. It's an order/pay at the counter type of place where you serve and clean up after yourself. It was unexpected, but I lived. I was in town visiting a client with a co worker and we decided to stop in after our meeting. The place is surprisingly large inside with a big banquet looking room as well as a normal dining room where you walk up to order. The menu is legit. I love Mexican food and they have a broad selection. I went with the Chile verde with flour tortillas. They have a pretty good hot sauce/salsa bar too. You can get onions, jalapeños, cilantro, etc., which I imagine Is for the copious amounts of menudo they must sell. The food was good and the portions were good. My coworker seemed to like his also. As with most legit Mexican restaurants, this one had the overwhelming smell of fabuloso, which is ok as it indicated that the place was pretty clean but as I mentioned, it was a little much. The fresh chicharrones were good. I took a half pound home to my girlfriend as she loves them with hot sauce. They didn't disappoint. Reading the Yelp reviews on how good their carne asada tastes I decided to check this place out. The inside is pretty spacious. I went around lunch time on a Friday, and the place was constantly flowing with people coming in and out. You order at the counter. One thing I read was the service was pretty bad here. My experience wasn't so bad. The lady at the counter was pretty bland, but nothing I haven't seen at most restaurants. I ordered 2 tacos of asada and pastor, a burrito of carne asada and a large horchata. The price was about $10.32. The burrito is left open, so you could add whatever condiments you like, and they'll close it for you once you do that. Actually a really cool concept! The meat serving was a good portion, so I knew the burrito was going to be big. The asada wasn't bad, but I've had plenty better. The pastor was average at most. The tortillas for the tacos were pretty soft, so it made the tacos enjoyable. No refills on horchatas. Overall, it's a nice spot that is worth a visit to try their other meats. read more
