They moved across the street to new location. Inside is very nice, clean and spacious. Menu is pretty much the same as the older location. Service is good as always. Our go-to is the Al Pastor burrito. It's huge! They give you the burrito open. Then you can go to salsa bar and load on your toppings. Give burrito back after bar and they'll wrap it for you. Quesadillas are also good...kids love them. Food is delicious. The take cash or credit cards. read more

Ordered a torta, this is how it came. Basically is just a bread with some meat. Not even bother to put mayo on the bread.

I visited in January 2026 for lunch and ordered a chile verde meal plate. Unfortunately, the chile verde lacked flavor--there wasn't even any salt. It was terrible. Thinking the cook might just be having a bad day, I decided to try tacos today. I ordered two lengua tacos and one tripas taco, but instead, I was served some sort of burnt shredded beef, and the tripas were also burnt. I finally spoke up and informed the cook that the meat was not lengua. She insisted it was, but I even took a piece and showed her how lengua shreds differently. This will be my final visit to this restaurant. The cooks seem to lack pride in what they are preparing and serving to customers. read more

I had a very simple order that the order taker didn't seem to comprehend. First burrito: chorizo, potatoes, and cheese. Second burrito: eggs, chorizo, beans, and cheese. She kept asking and bacon? To the point where I had to be short with her saying NO BACON. CHORIZO IS THE MEAT! When I got home and cut them in half they were completely wrong. First burrito they added eggs and they added cubed ham to both of them. Why even take orders Ortegas??? You do what you want anyway and at the same time you price gouge your customers. $13 for a breakfast burrito??? Really??? $36 for two breakfast burritos and two coke's and you can't even get orders right. read more

The food was okay, I got a burrito of asada it was dry mostly beans. Service was great

Update your hours. Stop lying to people! Your food quality doesn't matter when you lie to your customer and falsely claim hours you aren't open. Very unprofessional and sad that you can't even keep to the hours you claim to be open. If you change them then update your customers on all platforms. Sad to see such unprofessional from a respected establishment. read more

Gave them 4 stars because we ordered a tacos combo here yesterday and their combo is supposed to come with rice and beans. Got to the beach and opened my plate and no rice and beans were found. The following day, went back to order a breakfast burrito and told them my tacos combo yesterday didn't come with rice and beans and the guy in front said he wasn't working that shift so he couldn't do anything about it. Nonetheless, food is delicious and portion size is great. Just check your food before you leave their building haha. read more

We ordered the asada nachos, asada taco, red enchiladas, and rice & beans... the best thing was definitely the taco! It was definitely the best ive had in the valley! Every bite was flavorful and delicious! Now the asada nachos was also good! Lots of chips and huge portion! No jalepenos on top as advertised but no big deal!!! The enchiladas was not good. Chicken was dry and tough! Lack flavor and did not like the sauce! Cheese would probably been better on top! The rice and beans was the most dissatisfying. Beans dry, rice lacked flavor and I expect beans and rice to be exceptional at a Mexican restaurant. However, i would come again as packaging was well put together! And they were kind! read more

I've gone to this place a couple times already and it was good but I went again yesterday night and not only was my food cold there was a hair in the food and I'm not one to make a big deal out of hair in my food especially when the hair wasn't on the side of the plate but my family told the person at the register that there was hair in it they went to go make another plate and they were talking loud about how the hair wasn't the cooks and the cook was asking if it was my hair I have really short hair I know it wasn't mine I found that embarrassing especially because there was only 2 familys in there one of them includes my family everyone can hear them talking about it, my mom also ordered a cheesecake that she never got I wouldn't of made a review at all if it wasn't for the embarrassment finding hair in food isn't a big deal neither is the food being cold at least to me it isn't but if they were friendly and professional about the situation I would 100% go again but after that never again read more

I've been disappointed over and over by taqueria's across the valley, but today I was not even close to being let down. I am a harsh critique for this type of food and today's risk paid off in a tasty reward. My meal consisted of a sope of carnitas and two tacos; one asada & one al pastor. The first bite is everything and it delivered with a well balanced flavor, texture and spice. Every bite of .... well everything was better than the previous and before I knew it I was singing the mmm mmm mmm's. I came back a week later and had an asada burrito and it too was great. Service is pretty good. It's an order/pay at the counter type of place where you serve and clean up after yourself. It was unexpected, but I lived. It's good to have a place like this in a city I'll be spending quite some time in. It will definitely make lunch both enjoyable and affordable. read more

Catering Review: Delicious, Fresh, Filling! They set up outside of the hall where everyone was gathered. They had a protable stove/ grill top to keep the meat and tortillas warm. Three separate meats, flavorful beans and even more flavorful rice! Salsa, and of course the toppings! Cali has a different type of taco than I am used to. Now I've been spoiled and there is no going back. I would 100% hire them for my event. They were organized, clean, and friendly with guests. read more

I scheduled them to cater an event. They never showed up or bothered to call. I have used them in the past. I will not use them again.

Overpriced. Lacks taste. Too oily. It's not the best experience. Maybe people come here because it's one of few Mexican spots. Juanitos has a better flavor and wouldn't mind paying the money for the flavor. read more

The. Best. Tripa. Tacos. Ever. I usually come here around 9-10 pm when I'm driving down from the Bay Area and I can't wait to have authentic Mexican fast food. Pros: -The tacos are cheap, delicious, and it's an open condiments bar. When you're done fulling your burrito or taco they'll wrap it for you. -Tripas tacos are IT! -It definitely hits the spot every time we visit Reedley and has as hometown vibe. -There's never too long of a wait Cons: -Out of all the times I've come there has been only once where they didn't really chop up my trips meat and it was on the oily side. read more

I was in town visiting a client with a co worker and we decided to stop in after our meeting. The place is surprisingly large inside with a big banquet looking room as well as a normal dining room where you walk up to order. The menu is legit. I love Mexican food and they have a broad selection. I went with the Chile verde with flour tortillas. They have a pretty good hot sauce/salsa bar too. You can get onions, jalapeños, cilantro, etc., which I imagine Is for the copious amounts of menudo they must sell. The food was good and the portions were good. My coworker seemed to like his also. As with most legit Mexican restaurants, this one had the overwhelming smell of fabuloso, which is ok as it indicated that the place was pretty clean but as I mentioned, it was a little much. The fresh chicharrones were good. I took a half pound home to my girlfriend as she loves them with hot sauce. They didn't disappoint. When I'm in town, I'll be back, despite the gravy guys I experienced later. Small price for good food! read more

Reading the Yelp reviews on how good their carne asada tastes I decided to check this place out. The inside is pretty spacious. I went around lunch time on a Friday, and the place was constantly flowing with people coming in and out. You order at the counter. One thing I read was the service was pretty bad here. My experience wasn't so bad. The lady at the counter was pretty bland, but nothing I haven't seen at most restaurants. I ordered 2 tacos of asada and pastor, a burrito of carne asada and a large horchata. The price was about $10.32. The burrito is left open, so you could add whatever condiments you like, and they'll close it for you once you do that. Actually a really cool concept! The meat serving was a good portion, so I knew the burrito was going to be big. The asada wasn't bad, but I've had plenty better. The pastor was average at most. The tortillas for the tacos were pretty soft, so it made the tacos enjoyable. No refills on horchatas. Overall, it's a nice spot that is worth a visit to try their other meats. read more
