The jewel of a restaurant has nice cool ambience, especially now that it's hot. It's spacious, but we like to sit in front. Service is always great, not to bugging. Attentive to needs. Let me just start off by saying I love supporting smaller businesses. This place has been staple of Reedley for as long as I can remember. The decor is little more older, but nothing wrong with that as it reminds me of Mexico. My family & I have been going to this place for 20 years. My family has also hosted many parties here in the past. The owners are very nice and friendly. They love serving their customers. The lady owner usually runs everything by herself and the husband is the cook. There is plenty of seating available. I would say please be patient with them as typically it's just the owners who run the restaurant themselves. They do have help on the weekend when it's busier. Their food has always been delicious and filling. They are not stingy with their portions. Everything has flavor and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend anything on their menu. Their prices are very reasonable to me I love coming here because it's feels like home and less chaotic as opposed to bigger restaurants. I so far have not had a bad experience and I will keep coming back until I do! read more

Costa Dorada is one of the best places for great Mexican food. There were eleven of us today and we had excellent service and wonderful food. It's owned and run by a husband and wife team. They do a wonderful job of taking care of their customers. The burritos were massive, the sope nice and crispy, the shrimp tostadas were piled high with shrimp and other goodies. I'm currently still eating while reviewing this location, the woman at the register is very nice she gave us time to look at the menu, the food is delicious definitely looking forward to going back soon, The restaurant does have the 6ft stickers on the floor also sanitizer very clean very organized, so them practicing social distancing during a pandemic is a plus for me. I had the ceviche de camaron and it was good. My family also has the fajitas de pollo, a little too much onions for our liking but it was also good. The salsa with chips were also good, it didn't taste like just tomato. Would eat here again and try something else on the menu. read more

Best spot for mariscos and fish. Our family favorite is the Huachinango ala Veracruzana. We've driven out from Fresno just to come and have their food. I've been coming here for 17 years and my wife has been coming to this place a lot longer than me. Their tostadas de ceviche are also great. Anything you choose from their menu is not going to disappoint. You can call ahead and order your food and friendly staff will tend to you. Avoid this place at any cost!! Food is not good and customer service is absolutely awful! We ordered a shrimp cocktail with just shrimp because come on- you can't really get this one wrong. Chop of veggies, throw in shrimp. Well guess what! Not only did they get it wrong once, they got it wrong several times!! My husband drove back and forth, first time told them patiently they got it wrong and we needed a new order. Then he returns home and we sit to have dinner, open it up and again!! It's full of nasty oysters. When we finally lost our patience and asked to speak to the owner he told us it was OUR fault and that we don't know how to order. Sent my husband back to get our money back this time. When he arrived, the cook told him he would fight him. My husband told him he would have more to lose because this was his job.
