I immediately had to stop eating it, the pieces were also fatty, tough and hard like a pebble. The chips also tasted old and stale, like store bought chips left out for a while. The Al Pastor was the highlight of the meal. The meat tasted charred, it was flavorful and well seasoned. I honestly should've grabbed a burrito with that meat instead. Barbacoa was just ok, nothing to write home about. A little more tough than what we've had from Chipotle. Not really seasoned. Overall, disappointed. The two other tacos were packed, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can barely hold them together, and the salsa was spicy enough that one small container lasted all three tacos. Not many taco spots serve tripas, and even fewer do them well--but this place gets it right. The meat cuts are thick, full of flavor, and they're always willing to customize your order.
