    Filete Relleno

This is our absolutely favorite place to eat! We are there almost every Sunday. The employees are so very friendly and accommodating. We are never disappointed!!! He almost always gets the Molcajete de Mariscos (crab, shrimp, octopus & abalone) and this time I ordered the Filete Relleno (white fish covered in crab, shrimp, octopus & abalone with onions and peppers in a red sauce). The draft beer is served in ice cold mugs straight from the freezer!!! It doesn't get any better than that!!

Pros: The service was very good and the chips were fine. They tasted homemade. cons: Food needs more flavor. Something was missing maybe more spice or salt. Also the inside is a bit dirty and cluttered.

The Molcajete...the one and only!!! You will like it!!! Look at that homemade corn tortilla!!

If you want awesome Mexican food with homemade corn tortillas, this is the place for you. Where do I start...they followed the Covid restrictions perfectly, very clean, the waitress was awesome, and they had outdoor seating. First off the chips and salsa were amazing, I love spicy salsas and this salsa did not disappoint. The chips were freshly made and they were very tasty. I ordered the Molcajete...this dish came out in a heavy stone bowl with green onions, chiles, strips of beef and chicken marinated and grilled to perfection, it had plump shrimp, with link of chorizo, and Mexican cheese, all simmering in a red sauce. This meal was very good, it also came with rice and beans, and the best homemade corn tortillas, you may ever have. They were not store bought corn tortillas they were homemade, big like flour tortillas. They were thick and melted in your mouth. Just like my grandma made back in the days. Sorry Grandma. I am telling you this place was awesome. Anyways I am coming back to Dinuba to try this place out again. If you don't try it for yourself then that is on you. I will Yelp this place a second time and try to convince you again. Eat here you won't be disappointed.

Okay so definitely disappointed. The food was not up to par whatsoever I had a torta and I swear I was eating a wet bread sandwich. The bread was thin and yucky. The fries were skinny and not satisfying either. I think the only good thing we're the drinks! Now, THOSE were delicious! We had a strawberry margarita and a michelada. BOMB! The entertainment was amazing as well though. Francisco Ramírez, romantic singing! Beautiful.

I love the food but one server never wore a mask even when he came to our table and the other server wore it under her nose.

Some of the best reviews were many years ago. I ordered the chile verde burrito, wet, and my girlfriend ordered the fish taco Friday special. Chile verde has different sized pork chunks in a delicious green sauce but the meat was inconsistent in size with most pieces being rock hard, or fat/gristle. No pieces were tender. Chile verde should be tender. I can make better Chile verde in an Instant Pot with pork shoulder and a jar of Herdez green salsa. I trim my meat well though. No surprises. The fish tacos were attractive. They resembled fish sticks though. They had a bread crumb coating, were cooked earlier, and reheated before putting in the taco shell. Not beer batter fried aka Baja style. The taco shells were soft yellow corn tortillas with the texture of flour tortillas. These tortillas were really good! Avocado and fresh cilantro was a nice touch. No special fish taco sauce was used, but might improve the fish sticks. Rice was a solid hit for both of us. We make it like this at home with shrimp/tomato bouillon. The beans were ok. I ended up "returning" the inedible chile verde and they dutifully replaced it with a different burrito. The service was 5/5. The place itself is clean and neat and spacious. No complaints there.

What we found was the family restaurant of your dreams. This is a husband-and-wife-run spot (M & J), former IHOP veterans who quit to open something far better. Meaning fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, everything cooked from scratch with real love. They have eight kids who help run the restaurant, and from the second you walk in, you feel that this place runs on heart. The walls say things like "You are family here" and "We create memories & meals." The Wi-Fi password is literally "ThankYou." There are sticker machines, Pokémon cards, and Milky Way bars by the register. It's wholesome in the way that makes your nervous system relax. The hospitality is. Michele will call you sweetie and somehow never let your cup dip below half full. It's the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely cared for, not rushed or transactional. The menu is a treasure chest. We loved it so much we stopped on the way up and made explicit effort to come back on the way down. We ordered the country fried steak, steak omelet, chorizo omelet, and a breakfast sandwich... every single thing was incredible. Do not miss: * Biscuits and gravy (mandatory) * Chocolate chip pancakes * Country potatoes with bell peppers and onions (to die for) * House-made salsa -- genuinely some of the best I've ever had This place is the reason you take road trips the long way.
