Ok, so we went to Sunday lunch Group of 10. I realize it's a large group. We got menu's and ordered drinks pretty quickly. Sadly, with no communication, an hour and a half later we finally get three meals. Took about 30 minutes for everyone else to get the other meals served two at a time. Some were done with their meals before everyone had been served. My food was good but absolutely not worth the wait. One burger meal was returned due to not being prepared to order. Others mentioned that their meals were cold. Very disappointing. In confirmation with other comments decor is nice but service is lacking. Went to the counter to pay the bill. I mentioned my disappointment about the wait and said it would be difficult to return if this is normal. The owner said is a rough voice. Well, I've had to wait for two hours at other places them promptly asked where I was from and I told her. She then said well, I won't see you again anyway. I replied I visit my mom often and could possibly return but may have to rethink that. Cali-Mex is right down the street. Not nearly as nice but the food is good and served quickly. As we were leaving she then walked over to tell us about everyone who "called out" and how they were doing their best. A bit too late. This all could've been avoided by telling us it's an hour and a half wait. We could've then decided to stay or not. Obvious money grab with no consideration of future business. read more

I thought I would try Me & Martha's again after a long time absence and boy what a mistake!! Ordered tacos with rice and beans...tacos had no tomatoes, lettuce or cheese just looked like they where thrown in the box. Serving of rice and beans looked like a child's serving. Ordered chicken salad for my aunt...because she is going thru chemo was ask to have no hot chili or jalapenos on the salad but when it was opened it was covered in jalapenos and hot chili..she could not eat it and had to make a sandwich for herself. I've been to Me & Martha's a few times. The one thing I will always come back for is the chili verde. I've tried the chili verde nachos, CV quesadilla and CV burrito with rice and beans. They are all so tasty and are served piping hot. The rice and beans have amazing flavor. The CV cheesy burrito was so delicious, filled with chile verde and beans and coated with cheese and more chile verde sauce. The nachos are just ok, as other reviews have noted, the chips can be stale at times. The quesadilla is also very good. My partner gets the shredded beef enchiladas with chile verde sauce on top and they are very tasty. One thing that is inconsistent is service. I understand it's hard for restaurants during these time. But a smile and friendly tone go a long way, which was missing from almost all of our visits. Also, there's not greeting when you walk in. So you have to wander around a corner to the payment counter to ask if you can sit. In all of our visits, servers took our drink orders, took our food order and that is it. There was no checking on us and we had to all to the counter to pay the bill. Overall, food is decent but service could use major work. read more

The restaurant has a lot of seating. When we walked in we weren't sure what to do because we didn't see a waitress anywhere so we sat ourselves down and the waitress finally came over and gave us menus. The waitress wasn't welcoming and she only came around twice, most of the time she was in the back and it took FOREVER to ask for our check. We ordered a wet burrito for a quick lunch but it took about 25 minutes for the burrito to come out. Flavor-wise, it's decent. Could've done with spicier chile... everything seemed a bit "watered-down," but I wouldn't mind coming back here for another quick bite. Needs better service. read more

Honestly I can't say me and Martha's is my favorite, however they are quick and nice. We order the chili verde nachos with extra cheese when we're hungry and don't want to drive to orosi. I'm really torn with the rating system here. So I'll break it down for you. The food: BOMB! Amazing, piping hot, fresh, amazing flavor, authentic Mexican food! The best I've had, hands down. Their chili verde nachos are amazing!!!!! The service: Good lord, I have never eaten here or even ordered from them without the service being utterly disastrous. They are slow, can't figure out how to serve a table to save their lives. Even when I order for pick up, it's always messed up and I have to drive back. Not friendly at all and just terrible. I've eaten here 3 times now and every time but by first visit was bad. My first visit was when they first opened, everything was good and service was good. The two times I went back with friends I was disappointed. Service was bad. You walk in and nobody greets you, the restaurant looks like a converted house so maybe they are chilling in the living room, idk. Nobody comes to check on you I had to get up and ask for everything. The food tasted like leftovers and wasnt even warmed up properly it was microwaved. I could go to taco bell for old food that's going to give me the shits. It had been long time since my family had been to this restaurant, so when we drove by and saw all of the fancy improvements and extensions, we though we would give this place another go-around. Nice place, clean, kinda glam for Dinuba. However, that's about where the "good" of this place stopped. We were the only three people in the restaurant, besides the workers. It took between 10-15 min for the waitress to even acknowledge us and take a drink order. She brought back our drinks along with stale chips and runny/watery salsa. It barely coated a stale chip. It then took another 10-15 min for her to return to take our dinner order, while we had menus folded up and at the end of the table and drink glasses already empty. Our food, which was luke warm at best, lacked in presentation as much as flavor. My mother ordered a chicken taco and there was maybe one ounce of meat on the entire thing, again, luke warm. The waitress, when we saw her, remained up at the bar area behind the counter either on her phone or talking with the other workers. She never smiled, was never courteous, never asked if there was anything else she could get for us or do for us, nothing. She was the epitome of "I'm only here because I have to be." My brother asked if we could have a refill of chips, to which she said nothing, walked off, and came back to toss a refilled basket in front of us. After waiting another 10-15min for our bill, we walked over to the counter to seek out our waitress. There is a clear view into the back kitchen area, so my family and I stood and watched as plate after plate of food was spooned onto dishes and then put in the microwave. Made sense as to why our meal was so bland, basic, and cold. Not a pot or pan to be seen. After 5 min of waiting, a lady in the kitchen told our waitress we were waiting for her. She gave us our total, again without any hospitality whatsoever, took our money, gave a receipt, and walked off. Lesson learned, just because a place looks nice, it doesn't say anything about the quality of what's inside. Neither myself nor my family will be back to this place again. read more

The owner is very rude and unprofessional. I placed a order for chili verde burrito which I have ordered the exact same way in past no problem and they gave us a burrito with very little chili verde no sauce on top and the little meat that was in it was hard. The tortilla was hard like it was old. When I called to let them know they did the order wrong the owner yelled at her staff then proceeded to yell at me that I ordered it wrong. And I can go get the sauce if I want it. I never went back for sauce or to this restaurant. Very very rude owner is not good with patrons and should not be in this field of work yelling in front of or at a customer is unprofessional. Never going back will never recommend. In high school we always went here for lunch. The food is good, and now that they've expanded the service is pretty decent. It's funny, because I always either get a burger (lol, but they make a damn good burger) and fries or the cali chicken taco with rice. DELICIOUS, chicken, guac, sour cream and American cheese on a fried tortilla (I have them put rice on it too) SO good and I haven't been able to find anything like it anywhere in So-Cal! Being from Fresno, I would have never been to this place if I had never met my husband who was born and raised in Dinuba. This is him and his family's go to spot and I must say even with the dozens of Mexican restaurants in Fresno, Me and Marthas blows them out of the water when it comes to chili verde. If you are ever in Dinuba and craving authentic Mexican food, stop by Me and Marthas. My personal favorites are the dad's work and the chili verde quesadilla. Love the cute little restaurant too. I went here for lunch and got there at the right time. There is a HS nearby and a crowd entered shortly after we did so it was bustling. My colleague and I got the Chili Verde and they came out pretty quickly. That being said you know I mentioned the HS crowd? They were in and out of there in about 20 min. Wow. Haven't seen that service level unless it was for a Broadway show... The service was pleasant and I liked the staff there. Ample parking on the side street. Since it was my first time I do not know what it's normally like for lunch or dinner. I have to say I would like to go back. Oh and the food? I liked it and tasted authentic. read more

The food is very generic Mexican food. Everything tastes like it came from a can. It's not bad, but they do a lot of things I've never seen growing up in a Mexican household. Bad bad bad, the place has gone downhill. They make rly good food, but the disappointing elements are really disappointing. Example 1) the asada tacos don't even know what they're doing. They used lettuce on the asada taco! I was very much taken aback. At least they didn't put cheese. It was just an asada n lettuce taco and the asada was so chewy. Keep in mind they were originally making me a burrito and then I said no I asked for tacos. The shade at this place is real, that's what I'm really trying to get at. They're good but if u cross them or look at them funny you may end up with a crappy meal. I placed an order to go and paid $45 leaving a $5 tip... For a to go order. As I'm sitting there for a half an hour waiting for my meal I see the staff laughing and carrying on with Hispanic patrons. At no time was I offered water of chips and salsa. Then the lady brings my order, sets it on the table and says, "here you go". She then abruptly walks away. The business was not busy at all.
