This review is rated on only one visit. Our Taco Tuesday group hit Mariscos Coloma this week. $2.99 tacos were $1.49 ea. most of us ate tacos. There were 4 varieties to choose from. They were well made and full of meat. A condiment bar brings you additional add ins to the tacos or for palette cleansing. I will be checking out their Mariscos (seafood) at another time. The quality of the tacos will bring me back to M Colema. Service was fast friendly, and accompanied by smiles. Waited 25 minutes for a lengua burrito from 1:30 pm to 2:05 pm during my lunch hour and my burrito never came! I was served some water, like I asked and some tortilla chips and salsa. Everyone else that was seated had already ordered and had their food on the table. In 25 minutes there, not a single update about my burrito!!! Absolutely terrible service!! I only had 40 minutes left in my lunch hour and I wasted 25 minutes seating down waiting for a burrito. Face palm!! Absolutely terrible service!! I'll never return!! We had their food on a truck parked in the gas station. It's cash only and we only had $11 but they hooked us up and we had their chicken tacos and a carne asada burrito. The burrito was fire. The ingredients were fresh and tasty but more importantly the meat was charred and not gray like everywhere else!! Nice and tender, good flavor, not rubbery. The chicken was super yummy and well seasoned but most importantly!!!! Both the burrito tortilla (flour) and the taco tortillas (corn) were well cooked and had flavor! Finally!!! a place that doesn't serve food on a raw tortilla. Im telling you this place is the real deal. No tricks or gimmicks. Just delicious yummy food. I have eaten there twice. Once was lunch which was with a friend and it was fair, It inside dinning and service was very slow, and we had to ask for everything from forks and napkins to salt and pepper. We had to ask for things at least twice. We tried breakfast it was so poor. The eggs were overcooked and no flavor on the rest of the dishes. We couldn't finish the meal and payed our bill and left. I had the taco salad with asada. The shell was on the crunchy side like store bought shells but it was filled to the top with lots of rice beans and lettuce mix. Asada was tender and well seasoned. Completely abysmal. Should've noticed the "NO REFUNDS" sign right off the bat. 2 tacos, a Michelada, Asada fries, a shrimp cocktail and two small sodas: $47. I knew things were going to be bad when the two shrimp (the total garnish in the michelada) hadn't been cleaned. There's no waitress, so when we picked up our food we were dismayed. None of the shrimp in the cocktail had been cleaned . The asada appeared boiled, then grilled. The carnitas looked to be a day or two old. Would give no stars if an option. Super poor service. We asked to have our table cleaned and was told yes but it never happened. Asked a few more times for it to be cleaned but nope. We had a large party so we needed the large table for all of us to fit or we would have switched tables. Don't bother coming here because you can get better food and much better service at Jalisco's. This place is definitely one of the most underrated Mexican food restaurants in Hanford! They have the best carne asada tortas that I've had by far! Also recommend the carne asada Colima burrito. Great seafood and tastey micheladas! It would be awesome if they had booths, but you can always get it to go.
