I ordered the super Campechana and tacos de governador me tell you it was so flavorful and delicious the taco came out immediately so it was hot and the Cheese was melting it was so good I wanted to order more but I was already getting full from the campechana. We were looking for a place for mariscos and we saw this restaurant had alot of good reviews. Decided to give it a try and honestly best choice we made. Michelada was bomb, tacos Sinaloa and tacos de pulpo were the best to have. The micheladas are to die for. I came in last night with my date and I ordered flor de choix (my go to drink) and my date ordered a michelada and let me tell you, your mouth will get watery of how delicious they are. Impressed I've never had them before until now!! I am impressed of their pricing, nothing here is unaffordable! We ordered food, drinks after drinks and shots and expected to walk out with a $400 tab but it was only less than $200! Also want to give a special shout-out to Javier our server, he was very attentive with his servicing, as well as the busser who kept checking up on us as well! Let me start by saying the the prices are over exaggerated for what you get for not worth it at all. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp and I was expecting a good size shrimp father then the true I got small shrimps not even medium outrageous w a side of rice and salad. The shrimp cocktail was to laugh at no flavor what so ever and barely got about six shrimps or so for what we paid not worth it at all. Then I decided to get a cheese cake burrito turned out the be a stick burrito w a extra small portion of ice cream and a spoonful of whip cream. This is our go to Mariscos spot. The food is usually always good and fresh. We went this past Sunday and while the food I got was good, my friend got the aguachile and it tasted like the lime used were super bitter. The got the fajitas mixta and it was really good! But the worst experience was getting to my car and noticing my car was broken into and all my belongings were stolen. The car next to me had a cracked window as well. There was security but he clearly was useless. Also, my husband went to the restroom and there were 3 guys doing drugs out in the open. We bring our daughter here and it's pretty disappointing that this was our last experience. I tried to ask if I could get some camera footage but I still haven't heard back from the owner. This place is great! We were on the way home from San Diego, and we were looking for a place to have dinner. We've called a few places, and this one was very accommodating and friendly. The service is amazing. Cannot remember the name of our server, but he was great, and in general the whole team was superb. The server gave a few suggestions that hit the spot: carne asada tacos, fish tacos, cheese empanadas. We also ordered guac , sea bass, ceviche, and dessert. Cheese empanadas are soo good - must have. Seafood is incredibly fresh. Archie, the manager, is very professional and friendly (actually, we thought he is the owner). I ended up finding this place on Yelp because u was craving some seafood on Labor Day. The place is very neat and I loved the decor! I really enjoyed that they didn't have Banda at the time when we went which was around 2pm. I feel like it's hard to find a nice mariscos place without all the noise. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Honestly the service was over the top! ANY staff member is able to assist you with anything if your waitress is away or busy. That is my favorite part about this place. Someone was always going to every table at least every 15 minutes to see if you needed anything. So the food was great quality and tasted delicious! We ordered the tostada de pulpo, shrimp empanadas, and taco governador. The pulpo tostada sauce is delicious and I don't even like pulpo my fiancé does but I ended up eating it. Also the governador taco is not like anything I've ever tried before the one they serve is way better! We asked one of the food runners for a green salsa and he brought us the aguachile salsa and it was too good with the empanadas! I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend it! We stood about 40 feet from the entrance (for about 20 minutes)) the music was so loud we could hear the people on the first two tables screaming to have a conversation. I moved further because the noise at that level is not only bad for ones hearing, it gives a headache and it's annoying. We decided to leave. Food is excellent! Service meh. Ambiance is LOUD as they usually have live bands. So if that's your kind of thing you will love it! My review is primarily based on the service. I placed an order today over the phone. The staff in the background were so loud the person taking my order could hardly hear me. I repeated the order about ten times. I could hear the waiter on the back talking some trash and laughing, so I think that's a bit unprofessional. I ignored it, because like I said food is good. Sadly when I got home my order was wrong. Even after repeating it so many times. And the girl on the phone wasn't even the least bit sorry about making me repeat myself or nice. Also I gave her my husbands number since he was picking up the order, yet I still got the text.
