They have hemmed most of my dress pants for work, remade a blazer that was too big, hemmed all of my jeans (cuz the styles seem to get longer and longer while I seem to be shrinking) and they custom altered a dress to fit me when I could'n't get it in my size. Don't donate clothes you love if they don't fit - take them to Precision and get them custom tailored to fit you! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of work. I have been to Precision twice now to have patches sewn on a jacket and a backpack. Both times they…read morewere not sewed on correctly. The patches on the jacket were not centered on the sleeves correctly. The patches on the backpack with neither centered, aligned and both were skewed/angled. The last time was for the backpack. Upon pick-up I showed it to the attendant, and they said they would redo it later in the day. I said I'd be by the following day to get it. Went in the next day and it was not touched. At that point, I asked for a refund and left. It is VERY clear, that whoever is sewing on the patches does not have a "precision" eye for detail. It seems like they basically just half-assed put the patch wherever they felt was best and sewed in on. I explicitly told the attendant when I dropped-off the backpack of my previous visit with their shop and what they did wrong on the jacket - and I repeated myself 3x to make sure that the patches were aligned etc. She assured me they'd get it right this time. NOPE. Totally fed-up with this place and their incompetence to sew on basic patches. If you're looking for "precision" and expect things to be done correctly - this is not the place.

They truly made my birthday wishes come true and brought my vision to life!I wish I had taken "before" pictures of them prior to the alterations, because needless to say, they were both total eyesores and felt like a complete waste of money. I purchased them off Fashion Nova hoping the quality would live up to the advertisements. However, the white dress's boning had no integrity and kept folding into itself, and the breast cups were bizarrely sewn onto the outside of the dress. The gold dress provided absolutely no support for my bust, and the cups were so far apart I couldn't even work with them. On top of that, the train didn't connect in a way that complimented my body--instead of a clean slit, it had a badly folded pleat leading into the train.To make matters worse, I was trying to pull off a photoshoot for my 21st birthday. I couldn't afford to buy any more dresses, and I was running out of time to figure it all out. When I first came in for my consultation, I felt so uncertain of myself. But as we talked through ideas and mapped out a rough plan, their support and reassurance gave me total confidence in their abilities.When I returned for the final fitting, I was completely speechless by how perfect the alterations were. They removed some of the boning on the white dress and did a complete 180 on the top, giving it a seamless finish where the cups no longer showed. For the gold dress, they completely redid the slit and brought the breast cups closer together. It is safe to say their work speaks for itself!

They did such great work and were so reasonably priced that I knew I was not going to have an easy time replacing them. So I researched through Yelp. (As a Yelper, it only made sense!) I decided on Stitch Wiz in the Berkshire Plaza at Broadway and Camino Seco. Finding the shop was a bit difficult, but part of that was operator error (mine). The shop's name was over a side area and I walked the whole length of it, not finding the shop. So I called and the owner came out to find me. How embarrassing - the store was right in front of my parking space! I brought in a dress that I loved the top half of. It has pleats and fancy stitching and I loved the cinched waist. What I wanted was to have the skirt (which was losing its hem anyway), to be cut off and hemmed a few inches below the waist. I picked it up today and it was perfect. I now have a gorgeous top with a peplum bottom. The price was fair and I am happy to have found my new alterations shop.
