They truly made my birthday wishes come true and brought my vision to life!I wish I had taken "before" pictures of them prior to the alterations, because needless to say, they were both total eyesores and felt like a complete waste of money. I purchased them off Fashion Nova hoping the quality would live up to the advertisements. However, the white dress's boning had no integrity and kept folding into itself, and the breast cups were bizarrely sewn onto the outside of the dress. The gold dress provided absolutely no support for my bust, and the cups were so far apart I couldn't even work with them. On top of that, the train didn't connect in a way that complimented my body--instead of a clean slit, it had a badly folded pleat leading into the train. To make matters worse, I was trying to pull off a photoshoot for my 21st birthday. I couldn't afford to buy any more dresses, and I was running out of time to figure it all out. When I first came in for my consultation, I felt so uncertain of myself. But as we talked through ideas and mapped out a rough plan, their support and reassurance gave me total confidence in their abilities. When I returned for the final fitting, I was completely speechless by how perfect the alterations were. They removed some of the boning on the white dress and did a complete 180 on the top, giving it a seamless finish where the cups no longer showed. For the gold dress, they completely redid the slit and brought the breast cups closer together. It is safe to say their work speaks for itself!

They did such great work and were so reasonably priced that I knew I was not going to have an easy time replacing them. So I researched through Yelp. (As a Yelper, it only made sense!) I decided on Stitch Wiz in the Berkshire Plaza at Broadway and Camino Seco. Finding the shop was a bit difficult, but part of that was operator error (mine). The shop's name was over a side area and I walked the whole length of it, not finding the shop. So I called and the owner came out to find me. How embarrassing - the store was right in front of my parking space! I brought in a dress that I loved the top half of. It has pleats and fancy stitching and I loved the cinched waist. What I wanted was to have the skirt (which was losing its hem anyway), to be cut off and hemmed a few inches below the waist. I picked it up today and it was perfect. I now have a gorgeous top with a peplum bottom. The price was fair and I am happy to have found my new alterations shop.

I needed some alterations on my scrubs/uniforms. Rebecca was leaving for an appointment and asked if it was ok to come back later so she could measure me proper, I did my other errands and on way home came back. She thanked me when I returned she said it was for medical appointment, I said no worries your so close to me I didn't mind coming back and understood everyone needs medical care and support that. So I returned later that day she measured me up and did fitting, then I asked about keeping original hem, she said it would be way more difficult to line up and take more time additional price and I decided it wasn't worth keeping original hem if alterations cost more than uniform.... I was disappointed to be honest and wondered what kind of work she did since I never used her or any seamstress since moving to Oro Valley. When I picked up my scrub pants which were 4 pair she matched the color thread so well and noticed impeccable stitching. Now I understand why she would charge more for original hem because it is difficult color to line up as well as the slits etc... but do not regret my decision. I am excited to find such talented seamstress so close to me, and cleaners when I need. Very good quality work, there was some broken Korean- English which I felt comfortable that she and I were both on same page. I read in another review someone had issue with language and also definitely did not experience any issues with my race being held against me Greek-American. Clean store, quality service and was accomodated in my time frame of need Grateful to be able to support this Korean (Asian) owned local store.

I did and went to another seamstress shop, who said my kilt buckle reinforcement is an easy fix.

From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted and was immediately told to go try my pants on. While she was pinning the pants, her attitude felt cold and irritated. When I came out to pay, I politely asked if a specific adjustment could be done. Instead of explaining calmly, she raised her voice and said, "Why do you come to a tailor?" which was rude and unnecessary. This could have easily been explained in a respectful way. Due to the poor customer service, I told her I would be taking my business elsewhere and i reached to grab my pants from the counter. At that point, she forcefully YANKED them out of my hands. I genuinely thought she was trying to keep my pants while still charging me, so I pulled them back since they belonged to me. She then kept yelling at my friend and i, the situation escalated because of how she spoke to us and physically grabbed my belongings. I yelled back in self-defense after feeling verbally attacked and physically confronted. This interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. What should have been a simple tailoring visit turned into an uncomfortable and confrontational situation. I will not be returning and do not recommend this business based on customer service and how the situation was handled.
