Got the shirt back a few days later and it fits wonderfully now. Customer service was excellent while looking and being delightful. They promised me my wedding dress would be ready in two weeks. When I went in to pick everything up after two weeks, the items were not done. They had some of the measurements wrong, but instead of calling me to come back in for new measurements, they just waited until I came in two weeks later to pick up my dresses. During that fitting, one of my dresses had been altered so much that it no longer fit. This was a dress that started out an entire size too big, and they got the measurements so wrong that it was too small to zip. They also hadn't even started the sleeves I commissioned for my wedding dress. After that, they told me it would take two more weeks. When I came in again, the dress they over-altered was still too small, as if they forgot they needed to let out the seam -- or they couldn't, because of how much they took in the first time. They told me my wedding dress was ready to take home, but the sleeves were still not ready. I sent my fiancé in a few days before the wedding since I was out of town, and he came back with yellow sleeves that didn't match the wedding dress or the style we talked about. I brought them back the day before the wedding and told them they needed to be fixed because it wasn't what I asked for and didn't match my dress. They took two hours to take the yellow fabric out of the sleeves but were still unable to make the sleeves I commissioned. I was offered no refund, no apology. I had to order sleeves off Amazon. On the day of the wedding, I kept tripping on my dress, which made no sense because it had fit fine at the fitting. When we looked closer, we found that the underlayer of the dress was still pinned and never sewn. Some of the pins had fallen out, and I was tripping over the fabric they never finished altering. This whole experience was unprofessional, careless, and stressful, especially for something as important as a wedding. They had multiple chances to make things right and failed every single time. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

We had an alteration needed on a simple satin type dress. We were recommended to another store however it was closed on Saturday, a quick search lead us to Precision Alterations were we were seen same day (no appointment needed), and they had the dress done early than expected it was $45 to shorten the dress. Before coming to see Jessica, I had the worst nightmare a destination bride could have: my dress alterations from a prior seamstress did not live up to expectations. My cups in my wedding dress were falling off, in the wrong place, and did not fit me. So I flew in Tucson one week before the wedding, desperate to find a seamstress who could help me with this last minute. Many turned me away due to the short turnaround. Jessica chanced on me and said to come in and we'd see what we could do! She was not frazzled and clearly very confident in her work. She offered me multiple options for my cups and said she was able to make it a priority, especially given the time sensitive nature. She essentially got them done the same day! When I picked up my dress, she pointed out the previous seamstress did a poor job with the bustles and said they were not in the best places. So she offered to work on the bustles again! The dress turned out beautifully. I was expecting to pay rush fees or a lot of money due to the short turnaround, but her prices were extremely reasonable. All in all, I got the last minute alterations done in two days! In this same time period, my MOH had to change her dress last minute and also needed alterations the same week. Jessica put our two orders together so they could be done at the same time. My MOH had her straps adjusted and the front of the v neck dress sewn up more. Jessica is very lovely, kind, and supportive. She is attentive to detail, works with you to make sure it's what you need, and takes great care. I cannot say nearly enough about Precision Alterations. WOW! I contacted them with an awful situation I was left in by a different seamstress. Not only was I immediately contacted by the owner, Frank, but they were able to accommodate me being from out of state. My parents with them, took my dress in and were treated with the utmost care and consideration by the front desk associate, Sam. She was so kind and very reassuring. I couldn't believe the kindness we were shown. Lastly, the seamstress who worked on my dress, Samantha, did absolute wonders. She listened to my every need and took it all in. Not to mention, being that I was from out of state, she took my in and within 24 hours was able to alter my dress and make several changes just to have it done before I flew back out of state. I can't recommend Precision Alterations highly enough!! I brought them my wedding dress with very little notice and I expected any tailor to give me a hard time about the fast turn around but both women who work there, Jessica and Lilia, were SO NICE!! They were both lovely and had even better ideas for my dress than I could have come up. And they had the alterations done a week early! All of that alone was worth the 5 star review but then they went ABOVE AND BEYOND, while I was trying it on I ripped the sleeve (completely my fault) and Lilia fixed it right then and there for me. I visited the store on Friday and needed my suit back by the next week Thursday and it was done but not at all by my expectations. When I came in for the fitting and I tried to explain how I would like the suit to fit she would not let me. She did the suit how she wanted . When I picked up the suit I did a fitting and did not like it but had no choice. I paid 130$ for alterations including hemming and bringing in the waist of the pants, shortening the sleeves of the coat and bring it in. My pants were TOO SHORT and TOO BIG. The suit jacket was also too big. I had to have last minute alterations at THE Wedding! Not only rude and unprofessional but expensive. Don't come here!!! read more

Incredibly disappointed with quality of the work on my wedding dress. My dress fit perfectly and only needed to be shortened. As I was steaming my gown ahead of my wedding, I noticed a section of hem that was sewn in a line that is anything but straight with the remaining fabric still hanging below. Trying to remove the poorly sewn section would have torn the delicate fabric and either way the bottom of the dress is now uneven. Ended up having to take scissors to my own dress ahead of my wedding. Unbelievable that I paid hundreds of dollars for this work! read more

Jessica is amazing and makes you feel like family! I recently needed my wedding dress hemmed and taken in, I went to several places in town but wish I would have found Precision sooner. Most places were trying to charge for minor details as separate insane charges (no names) but keep in mind stores with a first name in the title really dig into your budget. Jessica's prices are very reasonable, but please understand if they seem high to you its because you get what you pay for, Jessica's work is quality! After she finished my dress faster then the time frame she provided, I have been back for more needs with other clothing like adjusting dress straps, shortening items, and bust adjusting. All of her work is precise and now my mother, brides maids, and a few grooms men are getting their clothes tailored by her. I would recommend Jessica and I am extremely happy with the results. I've used Jessica in the past to sew up a leather vest and figured my next project was within her wheelhouse. I wanted multiple uniforms sewn together to make one jacket (as a retirement piece for 20 years of service). We sat down and discussed it in April/May, I even drew out what I wanted and sent her photo examples of other pieces that had been done to minimize confusion. She said "certainly, but I have to work on prom dresses first". Thats an understandable request, so I waited for roughly 3 months to hear back. Finally in late July I call her and ask for an update; she hasn't even started and was saying she needed to work on wedding dresses that just arrived and she didn't have her seamstress....On top of everything else, she LOST AN ARTICLE OF MY CLOTHING. When I told her it cost around $12 to replace, she simply shrugged it off and suggested "maybe a different shop could do one for me". So now I'm back to square one with less than I started. Jessica the owner quoted me $200 for simple alterations on two new sport coats over the phone. When I arrived, she was in the downstairs parking lot apparently from the smell getting high with some people in a truck! She finally came back into the business and proceeded to argue with me about how to tailor my jackets. It was clear she had little experience with quality mens suit coats. After finally making her understand what I needed done, she then demanded all the money upfront with a two week wait for pickup. When I questioned this she became belligerent and tried to throw my jackets back to me. When I agreed to pay her all the money up front (which is unheard of) She screamed at me to get out of her store! Never in 40 years of having clothing tailored have I met someone so unprofessional.
