A coworker and I decided to order takeout here during our lunch break and the food did not disappoint! I ordered a cheese slice (with an added broccoli topping) online through their website for as soon as possible. I was quoted that it would be ready in 15 minutes. The website was very easy and accessible to use. We got there a few minutes early to check-in and our food was still being prepared, but it was ready for when we were quoted. Cashier was very nice and the location seemed very casual, but clean. My slice was absolutely giant (it comes from their 24 inch pies) and filling. I thought it was pretty affordable at $4, but they do charge $1 per topping for anything more than just the basic cheese slice. My coworker ordered their toasted ravioli and I tried it as well. The ravioli was perfect. They have daily specials available that are great to check out too. I definitely will be back because this was such a good weekday lunch spot! read more

Ate here for lunch yesterday because it was highly recommended by a coworker. I ordered the Italian Sub and my son ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Our order came quickly, however, it was not good. The sub was dripping grease with every bite which made the bread soggy. The spaghetti and meatballs were bland. Prices were decent but food was below par. I have had their pizza in the past which was pretty good so maybe they need to stick to that food item alone. read more

I was in the mood for Pizza after watching all the ads on TV and I hadn't tried Mario's before and it was the closest shop near me. I was seated immediately because it was just after the noon rush. My order for a small pizza and drink was taken and arrived in a timely manner. There were only two other tables utilized thus the sound level was good. The dining room was also very clean, especially because it right after lunch so that shows their attitude towards keeping the place inviting. The pizza sauce was very good, and there was plenty of pepperoni and sausage, but the pie should have been cooked a little longer because the crust was not very crisp. The service was ok, but not sure how it would be when the place was busy. The servers probably wouldn't be using their phones. I enjoyed the meal, but it doesn't make me want to go back soon. Maybe it's me but the pizza shops in my area are not as good as I have other places. read more

Our old tried and true, has become a total disappointment. They've changed the recipe. Our favorite cheese pizza, once a zesty thin crust is now too thick and the sauce tastes like ketchup. The cheese is even off. I was already put off by the addition of a tipping system a few years back (I make my own drink, clean my own table and bring myself my own food.. but sure. ... let's pretend you deserve an extra 20%) Now they want to add MORE money for paying with a card (hello!! I ordered a chicken parmigiana sub. There was a lot of sauce and cheese, but there was only a little chicken and it was heavily breaded.

I've had nothing but good experiences from this location. The pizza is consistently good, all staff are courteous, and helpful, and the dining area is kept clean despite high "traffic". One negative is the price. Mario's is slightly more expensive than pizza of equal quality. They are even offering a cauliflower crust 10" pizza, which is fantastic when I'm on a low carb diet (currently). Can't tell the difference between the Cauliflower crust pizza, and their regular pizza crust, which makes me question how much cauliflower is actually in there. Wish they would post nutritional information somewhere. If Mario's keeps doing what they are doing, I'll keep eating them pies! I diet so I can eat more pizza. It's a vicious cycle! The struggle is real. P.S. I haven't strayed far from the pizza, so I can't speak about much other food they serve. read more

Oh my goodness, the least I can say is that this place was amazing! Took my grandmother here and it was the first time for the both of us and we loved it. We both got 10' inch pizzas and a drink and it was less than $30. The pizza spoke for itself, you could tell it was fresh dough and fresh ingredients, pizza sauce was amazing and both the pizzas were cooked to perfection. Hi, my name is Janice and I'm addicted to Mario's chicken parmesan! I've never had their pizza because the first time I visited, I had the chicken parm and haven't looked back since. I love their sauce, the chicken is not overcooked, the cheese is melted just right on top and the spaghetti served with it is cooked perfectly every time. It comes with a side salad and garlic knots. The salad has tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, red onion and shredded mozz, on point, a great salad. The garlic knots are good if you're a bread eater, I'm not so much but it's nice touch included with your meal. At less than $13, a bargain for sure and I get two meals out of it. The hardest aspect for most restaurants, especially small chains and locals, is to be consistent, in both quality of product and service. That evasive goal was pointed out again today with my experience at this pizza restaurant. I called in a 2 pizza order at 11AM, and was told they would be ready at 11:30 when they opened. I arrived at the appointed time, and after a 20 minute wait (50 minutes from time of order), my order was ready. When I went to pay, I discovered they had placed the order for 2 15" pies, not the 2 10" I clearly ordered. Already late I paid and left - a $20 order having become a $40 order. I was told the reason the order was not ready was they had to make the "Company Pies" first (the ones they serve by the slice) - a heads up on that would have perhaps be nice at the front end of the order. When I said that was simply not acceptable, I was rewarded with a blank stare, and no sorries of any description. Neither pizza was at all good - the Veggie was soggy and undercooked - simply awful fare. The other pizza was ordered with extra cheese and extra pepperoni because they skimp on both items on their normal - if there was in fact extra anything on the pie, I failed to find it - at least this one was almost cooked thru. I have been picking up pizza here for several years now, on almost a weekly basis - that will obviously not continue. There simply are too many choices out there to put up with such shoddy service and quality. I have never, never understood why restaurants don't understand that - the most important customer is the one already in your place because they want to be there - and you blow it with unsupervised, uncaring employees. read more

I went here with family a couple of days after Christmas, and we all loved it! Mario's has the good, New York Style pizza. My family ordered the largest pizza available, and it was almost bigger than the table! I kid you not. Look at my pictures! It fed 7 adults. I ordered the meatball parm sub, and that was amazing as well! The meatballs were very good, and the sub bread was nice and crispy. It came with a side, which I was not expecting, and I chose the mozzarella sticks. They were crispy and good, and there was also marinara sauce that came with it. The service is always very nice. Even though we ordered such a big pizza, it didn't take too long to get our entire order. The restaurant itself isn't too big-probably around 12 booths for four people, and two tables, but there is a good rotation, so every time we've been, we've always been able to grab a seat. Love Mario's but my last few takeout orders for pizza were botched. The first was a half and half one topping pie that ended up with them putting two toppings on one side with the other just cheese. Tonight I ordered a pie with sliced sausage as a topping but got the crumbled abomination most places here serve. Went to Mario's on New Garden on Valentines day to get my wife and I a pizza. One of the pizza makers was cleaning the oven with some kind of broom so I ordered my food, the guy cleaning the oven (the pizza maker) proceeded to make the pizza without changing gloves. I asked was that my pizza. The lady said yes! I said no, not with the same gloves on, I asked if he would changes gloves. He didn't understand English well, so this other guy came towards me and said that I can get my money back if I didn't like it!! I didn't want the money back, I just wanted the pizza. Then this guy says we don't have time for people like you!! Wait, what?! I asked him what did he mean by that statement, he just laughed about it. I got very angry because I knew what he meant. I am a person of African Decent, so I gave him what for and left but I will never patronize Mario's pizza on New Garden ever again and I hope anyone reading this doesn't either. read more
