We went a little hard. We were starving. Let's see we got 10 medium wings and 10 BBQ wings which wee alright. We got spaghetti and a meatball which was better then I was expecting. Fish fry was below average. We ate on the roof patio which was nice had a nice view of the lake.

Fried zucchini with an orange slice.

The view from the upstairs balcony is really great! I ordered fried zucchini. The zucchini was alright, but it's pretty hard to mess up fried food. According to my companions, the wings were decent as well. The french onion soup tasted like water. There was no salt in it at all. It tasted like nothing. The baked stuffed clams were awful. It tasted like they mixed salsa, breadcrumbs, chopped clams together and called it a day. Just no. They serve orange slices with EVERYTHING. I think the point is to make sure we don't get scurvy, but this is Lake Ontario, not the Atlantic Ocean. Calm down and stop wasting oranges. Actually, maybe the oranges are a smart choice since I'd rather eat a plain orange than that french onion soup again. The service was also kind of slow even though they were not busy. I'd come back to sit on the patio for drinks and oranges, but I'm not bothering with their food again.

Nasty ketchup bottle

Family of 4, waited an hour for 2 burgers and kids grilled cheese and kids spaghetti. Like any American I like to put ketchup on my burger. The label on the ketchup bottle (pictured) looked like they have been refilling it since the restaurant opened. Based on those things not much else I can say about my experience.

We sat on the upper deck and had dinner - a beautiful evening. Elizabeth was our waitress she did an excellent job. She asked if we wanted to know the specials before she went to get our drinks - very smart - we were then able to order when the drinks came. We were seated, had our drinks, ordered within 10 min. The food was very good with generous portions. Be aware there are 16 steps that not only you have to climb but the wait and bus staff come up and down with serving trays balancing drinks and food. The Draught beer was cold, the clam chowder good, as was the ravioli in red sauce and BBQ chicken. Definitely give them a try.

Great seafood restaurant with an amazing location next to the lake. I have seen them open recently, so I'm pretty sure they are NOT closed.

It's a fantastic place, but they are temporarily closed right now due to covid and being off season.

We ordered French Onion Soup & New England Clam Chowder and they might have been the most delicious soups I've ever had!

I kept reading the hype about Sweet Jesus so on my last visit through Niagara Falls, the hubby and…read moreI decided to stop and get a sweet treat. Our consensus was that this place is definitely over-hyped. Neither of us was a fan of the ice cream here, and it's one of our favorite desserts. It has a weird consistency that doesn't even taste all that creamy, and the plain vanilla has zero flavor. The ice cream had a very light and fluffy texture that was unappealing, sort of like Cool Whip versus real whipped cream. I prefer my ice cream very thick and creamy. The flavor comes from the toppings, which were also a little bit boring. There are lots of weird sounding flavor combinations that they call "cone builds" that have sauces and toppings that are over the top, but we opted for a cone with cookie crumbs and cookie dough for me, and Oreo for him. The cookie crumbs were very stale and the cookie dough just tasted like regular old cookie dough topping, nothing special. I also thought the ice cream shop was very dirty. It didn't seem very clean or sanitary and if that sort of thing bothers you'd I'd recommend skipping this place. The toppings were falling all over the counter, which was an absolutely gross mess, and our cones were given to us already dripping and sticky (yuck). The prices are high but then again, that's to be expected since this location is right on the main tourist drag in Niagara Falls. It's right at the end of the street by the falls, so you can walk over and eat your ice cream and look at the water. We paid like $22 CAD for two mediocre ice cream cones. This is a one and done place for me for sure.

A Bit of a Letdown This Time Around…read more We've had Sweet Jesus before--mostly at mall locations--and we've usually really enjoyed it. But this time around on Clifton Hill, it just didn't wow us. We went with milkshakes: I got the Birthday Cake, and my wife got the Mango. Hers was okay, but my Birthday Cake shake was super underwhelming. It was way too liquid-y, the cake bits had an odd texture, and the overall flavour was just bland. Normally Sweet Jesus is known for bold, indulgent treats, but this one fell flat. Also the cardboard straws are TERRIBLE. Broke a couple just trying to get them through the plastic lid. The location didn't help either--Clifton Hill has gotten way more crowded than it used to be, and this spot became chaotic pretty fast. Might've just been an off visit, but based on this experience, we'd probably stick to the mall locations next time.

I've had them at other locations before but I had visitors visiting from Edmonton who were visiting Niagara Falls so we grabbed a dozen croissants to share. They had so many varieties it was hard to choose but my favorite ones that I usually go for include: -Truffle Crab -Salted Egg yolk -Raspberry Panna Cotta / Strawberry Purée Custard -Honey Citrus / Lemon Cream Glazed Service was a little slow and unorganized despite them being opened already for a few months. They said 6 croissants and no tax but one of the girls told us we can mix and match with the croffles but when we went to pay they said we couldn't. When we went to pay they were struggling so hard with the point system. I do however appreciate them trying to figure out how it worked. So eventually they said I can only collect points and not redeem which was fine. I went back a second time cause I was thirsty and ordered one of their drinks that they said was available but then the girl looked at the other girl and then looked back at me and said it's not available soooo. Because this location is located in the food court at Fallsview Casino, they also take Momentum Dollars.

The place is nice, bright, and classy looking. There was a showcase with some tasty looking cakes and other treats on display. Everything looked deliciously tempting, too tempting to resist! We got the last seven Cream Rolls that they had, thanks to my new friend, Saumya. It was a long thin pastry roll, filled with cream, light and absolutely delicious! I will definitely have to come back to try more of their treats! Thanks again Saumya!

Very clean and spacious with a modern menu (QR code to see the menu). We shared a waffle and I had a hibiscus lemonade. The waffle, not like regular waffles. It was more of a cake batter waffle. This was very good. We opted for the mango ice cream one and the waffle is covered with some white chocolate curls for crunch and a drizzled sauce. There was some cut up fruit. The waffle didn't feel heavy and it was very easy to share. Hibiscus lemonade was refreshing but a bit to sweet for my taste. I'm sure when I come back I can ask them to make it less sweet. There are tons of options for drinks, hot and cold. Quite the selections of teas, and if I was a bit hungrier would have probably gotten a milkshake (roughly $10) Prices are fair , waffles are about $20 and are big enough to share. The person taking our order was great with lots of options and was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was attentive and checked on us regularly. Would definately go back to try some of the other items on the menu that looked delicious as well as the desserts and cakes that are in the window at the front on display at the counter.
