The music is obnoxious, wall to wall anxiety producing crap. The pasta was horribly undercooked, like not al dente, just tough because it's still raw, like eating plastic. I wanted to like it the employees are nice. Seems rushed and under staffed. I would not come back. Food is nothing special. I think the worst part about the experience was using their bathroom when I realized that the faucet is set to turn off after literally 2 seconds of water. Ordered from marinara's through door dash. My full delivery wasn't picked up & delivered. Called the door dash guy and he advised they didn't give him both bags, only one bag. Ok, so I call Marinara's and they say "oh yeah, the rest of your order is on top of the stove to stay warm". "Ok but isn't it your responsibility to give the door dash driver my entire order?" I ask. I get put on hold. "We can give you a store credit", I'm told. Sure, like I'm going to order from you again! No thanks! Crap customer service and what part of the order I did get, spaghetti with obviously canned un-doctored sauce and over-cooked wings tasted like garbage. Would not recommend. Very good pizza chain from NYC. Sauce was delicious. Crust was amazing. If you dine in you get complimentary garlic knots which were great. Loved the stuffed crust pizza too. Not a fan of the chopped salad though. Meatball hero was tasty too. The service was good and the restaurant was cute. Been back twice and see more trips in the future. read more

I always drive past this place and it has always caught my eye, but it wasn't until tonight that I decided to give it a try. I'm happy that I did. Finding a good "specialty slice" is much harder than you'd think. Since Joannes Gourmet in Roslyn closed, I've honestly been unable to find one until this evening. I ordered Marinara's Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken slices and they were delicious. The dough which I'll reference as "the bread" was really good on both slices. The slices held strong when folded and there was nice spotting on the bottom of the slices adding to the pizza's overall character/flavor. The chicken on both slices were tender, not hard as it is often at other pizza shops. The sauces used were great and not over powering. The buffalo slice gave you that nice wing sauce flavor without abrasive heat. Really nice job Marinara! I also tried the burnt broccoli which was delicious. Each piece had the perfect amount of char and the right amount of crunch. Once again great job Marinara. I doordashed the order tonight, but I've got the feeling that when I visit in person and try in the restaurant, I'm going to enjoy it all even more. I highly recommend Marinara! read more

This place has a wide variety of pizzas and other good dishes. The pizza is good in a pinch but there are others that are better. However there other dishes are better. They have good service and it is clean. read more

Decided to stop in today for two slices. This location used to be my go to pizza place back in the day. Back then the place was called Pizza town. We're talking maybe 30+ years ago today. I was greeted immediately as I entered and everyone was so extra friendly. There's 10 round pies and 9 rectangle pies at the ready so I really had a hard time choosing what to try. I picked out 6 slices and a regular to try as well as an order of wings. Their most unique slice had vodka sauce, marinara sauce and pesto. It was an explosion of flavor. I think the best slice in the end is the pepperoni slice. And even though they warmed up all the slices for me... They don't believe in extra hot, which I should've asked for because that's what I'm used to from the other pizzerias lol flavor wise... It is definitely decent but more importantly, it is . Everything here is new and so clean. I definitely feel comfortable here. Server used utensils and washed his hands before and after putting my slices in the oven and in the box. -- that is a win in my book read more

Very clean, beautiful display case full of great looking pizza. Unfortunately that's pretty much the highlights . The pizza is lacking flavor even the specialty pies which you would think would have enough salt and spices due to the toppings just have no flavor. For the price there is better around but if you don't mind having to add a bunch of spices for some flavor then go for it. read more

Marinara Pizza's latest addition on Long Island closely resembles their NYC locations with a modern and inviting atmosphere. This location is definitely much larger than their city locations. Marinara's regular slices are decent, but I think their true specialty lies in their square slices. The sauce used on the pizza is a bit sweeter than I would normally go for, but it's a nice change from time to time. The slices are a bit on the pricier side compared to other local pizzerias, but it seems like a common trend with rising prices everywhere. Pies range from $23 to $30 and slices range from $4 to $5.50. With all that being said, I will definitely be returning soon and maybe explore more of their menu in the future. read more

Constant go-to in the area for good pizza! I've come here with a group at least once a week as it's a nearby, reasonably priced lunch and dinner option. We've also done larger orders for events and they have been very good with providing service. I'll be providing a lot of pictures of boxes of pizza, since we come here that often. read more

Used to love going to Marinara in the city, so was so pumped to see they opened right near where I moved on Long Island! Pizza is always solid, zero complaints on food. If you go, get whatever is freshest out of the oven. Only removed one star for delivery because the pizza doesn't seem to hold up via delivery and sometimes it seems like they give stale slices if you order out. read more

Today I ordered the chopped Italian salad with chopped cheese, salami pimento with iceberg and Romain lettuce. The way it is pictured on the menu online is not what you get. It is not chopped. It was shredded like the chef took the half of the lettuce and sliced it and threw it in the bowl. There was no Romain it was iceberg. I guess the chef does not know the difference between sliced and shredded or chopped. What you see online on top of the salad with all of these pimentos and everything else is not what you get. There was hardly anything in the salad. It certainly didn't satisfy me. There was so many other places you can get a salad like this don't even bother with this place. read more

Eh ... just eh. People that work there don't really care. Twice ordered stuff, dinner one time and a hero another. They don't give a lot of food. Brought the dinner back because I couldn't believe how little chicken was in the dinner (marsala I think). The girl (manager?) Said that's what we put. My hero the second time I just took all the chicken off one side and put it on the other. Then is was sufficient, but 1/2 a hero. Like I said above, it's an eh option not awful, but not good either. That's not the best price since the ingredients were not at all tasteful! The slice was not hot enough either, and tonight...it just laid in my stomach! The crust was unusually good, with mozzerella stuffed in the edges of the slice. The sauce was just okay, but I make much better pizza at home! It actually tasted as if I took dough, baked it, and laid sauce on top of it...with a hint of grated cheese...with practically no scrumptious mozzerella! Look out folks! A real contender in the neighborhood for the quintessential New York slice. Airy, crispy with robust sauce, stringy cheese and chewy crust. I have a feeling once the word gets out this place is gonna get real busy however the space is large and they have plenty of room even for large parties. Diagonally across from Moe's occupying the same parking lot/ strip mall. Very convenient and plenty of parking. For the hipster in you, they also have free flowing Mikes got honey in squeeze bottles! I've ordered 3x now from this location and it's gone downhill each time. Ordered dinner last night for my family and was extremely disappointed. Pizza completely under-cooked. Worst of all we ordered Mozzarella Sticks. Cost $15. We got 6 mozzarella sticks and not one of them had any mozzarella cheese in the stick --- we got 6 empty mozzarella sticks...basically fried dough --- how does that happen! I don't feel like this location is well managed at all. Have eaten at Marinara Pizza in the city and the food is delicious. This location just does not have it together yet and will not be ordering from there again. read more

A very pretty and well lit place, but the food was subpar. All the specialty pies looked delicious, behind the glass counter top but they were tasteless. We really wanted to like this newcomer to our neighborhood, but was no better than supermarket frozen pizza. We also ordered a couple of salads, they were watery and at $16.00 there were minuscule amounts of salami and cheese in our Italian iceberg salad. there were a lot of workers behind the counter, and service was prompt, Unfortunately, my counterperson wasn't sure of my order and kept on opening up the bags And the pizza boxes to make sure the order was correct. I felt it was very unsanitary touching all of our food after it was prepared and packaged. Needless to say we will not be going back. A safer bet would have been a bagged salad at Stop & Shop and domino's. read more
