Very good pizza chain from NYC. Sauce was delicious. Crust was amazing. If you dine in you get complimentary garlic knots which were great. Loved the stuffed crust pizza too. Not a fan of the chopped salad though. Meatball hero was tasty too. The service was good and the restaurant was cute. Been back twice and see more trips in the future.

One plain slice and one square slice with pepperoni and sausage. Will be back.

Decided to stop in today for two slices. This location used to be my go to pizza place back in the day. Back then the place was called Pizza town. We're talking maybe 30+ years ago today. It looks like a completely different place nicely done. I got one plain slice and one square with pepperoni and sausage. Both were amazing.

A big hype for Marinara?!?! Food was good. Great zucchini noodle option for the pasta dishes ! Smart . Understaffed and no real Management on hand . Weird ordering system ? Not a well ran place goin on the wings of the NYC store ! Worth a try, sticking w King Umbertos for the best pizza !

I was greeted immediately as I entered and everyone was so extra friendly. There's 10 round pies and 9 rectangle pies at the ready so I really had a hard time choosing what to try. I picked out 6 slices and a regular to try as well as an order of wings. Their most unique slice had vodka sauce, marinara sauce and pesto. It was an explosion of flavor. I think the best slice in the end is the pepperoni slice. And even though they warmed up all the slices for me... They don't believe in extra hot, which I should've asked for because that's what I'm used to from the other pizzerias lol flavor wise... It is definitely decent but more importantly, it is . Everything here is new and so clean. I definitely feel comfortable here. Server used utensils and washed his hands before and after putting my slices in the oven and in the box. -- that is a win in my book

Since it was lunch…read moretime, I looked around and noticed Barefoot Peddler was steps away; it looked decent enough at first glance, so I headed in. BP is very much a no frills spot. We stayed in the bar area as that takes up the majority of the interior; there are, however, some booths and a separate room with tables. Decor was simple - typical bar/pub aesthetics. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived so we had our choice of seats which was nice. The menu was more extensive than I expected. There's a selection of apps, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, fajitas, and burgers - with several sections having a "make your own" option. I decided to go with a sandwich - specifically, the chicken pesto was speaking to me. This was grilled chicken with mozz, pesto sauce, and roasted red peppers on a roll. The sandwich was good - flavorful with all the components marrying well together. The bread was also soft enough that it broke through my bites; I was concerned being a hard roll that it would be too tough, but the consistency was perfect. I opted for tots instead of fries on the side which were good as well. Service was good - our server was friendly and food came out at a good pace. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the Barefoot Peddler. The food was tasty, and I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area again.

We never had to wait for anything and she was also a lot of fun. This is a great place to go if you want a fun, relaxed place with great food. The bartender is also awesome. He's funny, attentive and you can tell he really enjoys hanging out with the people he is serving. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, which obviously isn't the restaurant's fault. What WAS incredibly disappointing was their solution: instead of seating us inside the actual restaurant, they walked us over to a completely separate, off-premise catering room nearby. We were literally the ONLY people sitting in this random room. It felt like we had been removed from the restaurant entirely and stuck in an overflow event space and not exactly the birthday dinner or Felice experience we made a reservation for. What made it worse was the host's attitude. Despite there appearing to be plenty of available tables inside the actual restaurant, she flat-out refused to seat us there and essentially told us we could either sit in the catering room or go somewhere else. No apology, no attempt to accommodate us, and honestly just incredibly dismissive and rude. It was such a bizarre and unwelcoming way to treat first-time guests. The food at least started off strong. The bruschetta and eggplant were both great! For dinner, we had the chicken Milanese and cacio e pepe, and neither was anything special. Our server was nice and the service itself was pretty good so I don't want that to go unnoticed BUT being shoved into an empty catering room and basically told to take it or leave it by the host completely overshadowed the rest of the night. For somewhere we were genuinely excited to try, it was an awful first impression and definitely not the experience we expected.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.
