It's a favorite place by one of our team mates and highly recommended so we agreed to hold our Christmas party here. I did not know that they have a private dining room in the back. I thought that they only have small sit down tables for walk ins. We thought the place is just for take outs. We paid a prie fix meal. It was negotiated by one of our team members prior the reservation. For what we paid, the options are lot. Foods are delicious. The serving size is huge. We had Unlimited drinks and desserts. To top it all, the service provided was superb. We started at 3 pm and ended at past 6. We were not pushed away while we were enjoying our time. It was very considerate of the staff. It was a wonderful experience. Definitely coming back.

Decent neighborhood pizzeria restaurant. Good sauce to cheese ratio on their Sicilian with bite on the crust. I work in the area and from time to time will grab a slice or two. This review solely based on takeout pizza however I'm sure their dine in and menu is deserving of more stars based on many other reviews on Yelp.

Really good food, from the pizza from the salad appetizer entrée pasta seafood, I have not had one bad dish here. In the past two decades, I've been eating here I've actually eaten in dining maybe eight times and take out a few dozen times. it would've been more than a few dozen takeouts only if their foods are less salty. I enjoy their food 100% every time, two hours later I'm drinking lots of water. I still love the food, if less salty, I would eat here more often! It is a cozy place back in the dining area and they have several tables up in the front for more casual. Service is always good. If not, you can bring it up and they'll fix it for you. They are really generous with their bread, they load up fresh rolls and garlic breads for you and they are really good! Very happy they are here! I don't like they charge 3.5% credit fee!

Awesome casual Italian restaurant! The food, service and wine is all top notch and affordable. You will not be disappointed with anything here, especially the huge portions. I'd highly recommend the Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Paillard and pizzas. And the complimentary bread is delish! Positano would be good for any occasion and can accommodate families and large groups.

Ordered pizza here several times and we were happy with most of them. I remember one of them was very heavy to carry home lol! There are some seats inside if you would like to eat here fresh. The owner and staffs are very friendly. Note there is a charge for using credit card.

Cappuccino, so delicious

Let me start by saying that the staff is wonderful. The Food is very good, the veal sorrentino is delicious. The waiters are amazing very polite, very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. Prices are very reasonable. The appetizers calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and baked clams were great. The wine is good and the desserts were delicious. We had a party of 14 people and everyone loved it. All the food came out quickly and was amazing. They served zeppolies and fresh strawberries...so good, the cheese cake delicious, Tartufo so nice and lemon cake, reminds me of being in Positano Italy. They played so many wonderful Italian songs, everyone smiles, so nice!

Haven't been back to Positano in many months Was in the area and suggested to my friend to go . Homerun !! Portions are huge, we shared the. Chicken parm and gnocci in a pink sauce with mushrooms and onions and chicken. The gnocci are homemade, no frozen here . The gnocci are probably the best I have had. They are pillowy soft trust me if you go order the Gnocci .They will make them in any sauce you want. I usually get them in a Vodka sauce. Forget to mention the bread basket is always hot & fresh.

The kids and I dropped into Positano Ristorante Pizza for a quick lunch before getting some haircuts. This is located in a small shopping center anchored by an Hmart. Ambience: walking in, one is reminded of all the other small pizzerias in NY. The front half is the self serve "pizzeria" while the back is a.sit down full service dining. The pizzas on display were much less in quantity than most other places, but that can be a good thing, as any topping you ask for will be freshly added. The dining room for the pizzeria was a little small, as my little crew of kids ended up taking a third of the seats. Food: As is the case with most single slice pizzerias, most of the pizzas are pre-made and slices are re-heated in the oven for a few minutes. The plain cheese pizzas and pepperoni pizzas were good, but the Grandma Pizza was a little dry.

Take out counter (restaurant in the rear).

Service was good. However, I got a margarita slice and it came to out 6.95, tbh it wasn't worth that much and it was over priced.

Regular menu being served. Portions were small to average, food mostly good- notably carbonara, salmon, milanese- chicken scallopini, some pieces tough. Dishes did not include sides or anything extra like a starter salad. So $28-$32 pasta dish, just complimentary bread, took over 30 mins for dishes to come out too (and we were among first diners of day) so kitchen not backed up as far as we could tell. Not a lot of checking up or water refills. Desserts were costly $14 for small slice cheesecake, not enough to share. Roving photographer offered photo for purchase- really? we just dropped over $500. Nothing special for moms (a flower? glass of wine?) Restaurants are struggling but so is everyone else, didn't feel special, tables very packed together, probably not always, maybe just extra tables for MD -definitely an occasional type of restaurant - the "value" was just not there for us to return.

Right when we sat down they brought out this herbed bread dipping sauce that was honestly addictive. We kept saying we needed to stop eating it so we wouldn't ruin dinner... and then immediately went back for more. We started with the butcher's block meat and cheese board with olives. Everything on it was delicious and high quality -- every meat and cheese was flavorful and fresh -- but our only note is that the portions were a little on the small side. For my entrée I got the Chicken Zingarella with a side of pasta in the same sauce and WOW. It was honestly out of this world. I've never had anything quite like it before and I loved how finely diced the mushrooms were because it made the whole dish come together perfectly. Every bite was incredible. My husband ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola and it was sooo rich, cheesy, flavorful, and comforting. Definitely one of those dishes you keep stealing bites of from across the table. Everything was so good (and we were so hungry) that we completely forgot to take pictures. We'll definitely be back to try some of their famous raviolis next time!

The parking situation was not too bad on early evening during the weekday, but I could totally see it get out of hand on the weekends, so plan accordingly. We were sat right away and the lovely server dropped a basket of bread while we peered through the menu. The free bread is quite good. We were all starving, so the cheesy chewy bread was great to munch on. I am also much more forgiving about a bit of wait for food if there is free bread being offered. It was also nice because we were seated right by the kitchen window, so it was like getting a dinner and a show. We got the Saporite, which reminded me of a Costco chicken bake with its creamy innards punctuated by grilled chicken. This is my brothers favorite, and I could see why. We also had the spaghetti seafood, which was so richly flavored with the seafood. I'm not sure I ever had Italian pasta so full of that umami seafood flavor. Truly wow. The ravioli verde was something we got to add something not-tomato based & it was an excellent choice. The sauce was verdant and creamy. The ravioli filling didn't feel like straight ricotta but I liked whatever they had done to it! The chicken parm was also a solid choice, good breading on hefty cutlets of chicken and a nice helping of charred cheese on top. We liked every single dish, and the portions were more than enough to feed all of us and leave leftover for the next day. I was especially touched by the professionalism of the young servers during what was becoming an increasingly crowded dinner service. We got extra bread, waters filled, and to go boxes promptly. The hype was surprisingly real. I guess I should not be surprised that a place that's been around since my childhood has withstood the test of time because it was good. Will revisit soon for lunch service.

Updated review long overdue…read more Last three times I visited... i had planned on updating this review; however, always forgot until now. Food 2/5 very overpriced for not so great quality. Portions are fairly still large if the food tastes bad... it takes a lot of effort in eating it. Service 2/5 workers are young i guess if that is a pro... but lacks common basics... too busy talking amongst each other and talking negatively about the job. Ambiance hasn't changed for years. They offer a cash discount. I am leaving this review for a self reminder tbh... everytime I visit i think to myself why did I do this to myself.

Food quality wise, definitely portion size was extremely generous (family style), a few items could've tasted better, but overall it was fairly good. I thought I was losing my mind until I checked my text messages and saw they sent a confirmation text asking me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel. I pressed 1 and somehow the system canceled my reservation. I honestly think it's crazy for a restaurant to automatically cancel a reservation because someone doesn't respond to a text right away. I was sleeping and didn't even see it until about an hour and a half later. Huge turn off. I called and thankfully they added me back, but it definitely started the experience off wrong. Once we arrived, we checked in and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The bartender took about 25 minutes just to acknowledge me and take my drink order, which was disappointing. When we finally got seated, I realized they were only offering a prix-fixe family-style menu for Mother's Day. I understand limited menus on holidays, but I think each guest should still have the option to choose their own entrée because not everyone likes the same foods. I asked if we could add an extra appetizer, and our waitress who was very nice checked with the manager and they accommodated us. The issue was they didn't bring the extra appetizer out until after the entrées came. At that point it made no sense, and when I asked if they could remove it from the bill, they wouldn't accommodate that. Now for the food: Chicken Parmesan: slightly burnt and lacked flavor Beef medallions: needed salt and seasoning Lasagna: way too much ricotta cheese Shrimp scampi: honestly tasted like a 3-year-old made it -- just noodles and barely seasoned shrimp with almost no butter sauce Not everything was bad though: The bread was amazing Calamari was decent Meatballs were really good Cheesecake was amazing Sangria was very good and definitely gave me a little buzz The table service outside of the bar was actually great, and the portion sizes were generous. Ambiance was ok, bar just looked messy. They probably should have more than one bartender at a busy restaurant like this. Especially on Mother's Day. Overall, I probably wouldn't return unless I specifically wanted the meatballs and sangria.

The broccoli slice seemed like it was going to fall apart but it held together very well, it was also very light in weight but fluffy as can be. I was amazed but found it was the least of the two. Still enjoyable, I finished it. The sausage and peppers, AMAZINGLY delicious! Just enough sauce to keep it moist. Also not a very heavy slice yet really tasty.
