This has been the worst place to have entrusted with the Lipo360 i had been wanting for many years. I was consulted by Maribel Amaya at the location in Westwood. I briefly met Dr. Dan Yamini who spent about 15 minutes with me regarding my procedures. He recommended Lipo360 and fat transfer to buttocks and breasts. I was charged a total of $27,180. I received constant requests to pay the total amount as soon as possible so by the time my surgery date arrived, i had provided the full payment. On the day of surgery i was required to provide a urine test. The test came back positive for substances that i had initially attempted to notify the clinic of. I was ignored, not taken serious and instead prescribed xanax to calm my nerves. This was done without ever speaking to a doctor. Due to the results, they decided to cancel my surgery, never providing me with a future rescheduled date or any alternative procedures. Instead they politely escorted me out and promised someone would be in touch with me to return my payment. This never happened. Since July 29 2026 i have attempted to contact Marina's staff and they all have either ignored me, sending me to voicemail directly, or have given me wrong information to mislead me and keep me from pursuing what is rightfully mine. I would not recommend these people as they do not run a business as professionals and instead overcharge and steal from ppl who trusted them. I have attempted to resolve this issue with them and am now in the process of escalating this as they are literal thieves!! read more

When I was handed the Percoset and Xanex cocktail to calm me before the procedure, I was surprised that I wasn't asked about if had taken the drugs before (I had not) nor, what to expect in terms of how I would feel, and when. Still... all that was fine. The procedure finally began and wow - was it ever painful! To that end, I was handed the nitrous oxide tube and sucked on that thing for all I was worth. The pain was just gawd-awful - but hey - the price of beauty and all. Here's where things went south. When it was all over - the two women who worked on me... left the room. No one is paying attention to me and within a few minutes I start vomiting - it was everywhere and awful. And there was nothing I could grab to vomit into - no emesis basin or trashcan... I was so sick and my face hurt so much that I literally sat in my own vomit for what felt like a long time (although it was probably only a 5 minutes). Someone finally came in, saw my plight, gave me something to wipe my mouth, a sip of something from a can, and helped me clean up. But wait! There's more! My friend Amy arrived to drive me home. No one told her that I had gotten really sick or what to watch for in my really messed-up state. I was given a bag of samples and a 2-page instruction sheet that no one went-over with me (this is significant, read on!). In Amy's car, I'm in bad shape, start vomiting all over her back seat, and grabbed the closest thing I could find to heave into - right into the bag of samples, thereby making the 2-page handout unreadable, along with one of the samples, the label for which was written by hand with a Sharpie, also unreadable. After a horrible night, I called the Spa on Saturday morning - leaving a message asking about the instructions, the samples., and what I should be doing at this point. I realized then they are closed for the weekend (although one would think that with this type of a painful invasive procedure they would have someone checking in with me the next day). I was at their door by 10AM, purchasing several products which immediately soothed and calmed my poor little face. Review: My plastic surgery experience was a rollercoaster of emotions, with both positive and negative aspects. Nurse Tammi deserves praise for her exceptional kindness, care, and humor, which made the entire process more bearable. However, the results of my $20k+ investment in lipo360 and fat transfer to my breasts in October 2023 were far from satisfactory. Despite my expectations, my breasts remain unchanged, and my arms are visibly uneven in size. It's frustrating to think that correcting these issues would require additional expenses and discomfort and so much pain. The lack of communication from the clinic about these concerns has left me disillusioned and hesitant to undergo further surgeries with them. I had been considering breast implants, but now I'm questioning what went wrong and whether it's worth the risk. Had a simple skin tag removal package, and the lady who did it was careless on all levels. She didn't inform me about the procedure and I was left with needless scaring due to her being in a hurry and very abrupt and not careful in her actions. The consultation was also lacking education or detail behind it. I felt criticized and left w/no solutions regarding other procedures I inquired into. I had a breast lift and augmentation there a few years ago. The customer service is great. The facility is clean, Maria and Charlie were amazing. Dr. Stevens was OK. I paid almost $14,000.00. for my surgery and it is horrible. I am very unhappy and told them this. I was asked to come back so they could "correct" my issue and I still paid extra for the OR and anesthesia which was over $2,000.00. I had the second surgery and I still look horrible. I went back a few months after the second surgery and explained how my scars were horrible. It seems like I wasn't a cut with a scalpel but with a butter knife. One breast incapsulated so they don't look even but they actually never really did. I know $16,000 is not for a lot of people but it is a lot of money for me. I was pretty much told that it was the way I healed snd that I looked weird due to over weight. One receptionist there was super nice and told me not to bother to review them because they just have staff post fake reviews to keep the rating high. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that this review cannot do justice to my phenomenal breast augmentation performed by Doctor Perez and his team. From pre op, post op, and even now, I am beyond impressed by their work and skill. I had been wanting breast implants for about ten years- I was completely flat, could barely fill out a AA cup bra and felt like I had to always hide what I was lacking in the area; I wore heavily padded bras my entire life. I was so sick of not feeling confident in that area. I had been to one other consultation a few years prior, but the timing was not right and I was unsure. I had heard of Marina Plastic Surgery and booked an appointment with Dr. Perez for my consultation. I immediately trusted him- he is knowledgeable, kind, a perfectionist, and answered every question I had without me even having to ask. I knew he would do an amazing job. He helped me pick out implant size- which is such a big decision! Having no breasts at the time, it was so overwhelming to think about sizing and what looked good on my body. I truly had no idea. Nurse Tami was so helpful in this process as well. I did not want my breasts to look huge or disproportionate to my body - I am relatively thin and did not want to look fake. I wanted my results to look like I was blessed with great breasts. The day of surgery, I felt like I was in the best hands- everyone from my intake coordinator to operating room nurse and anesthesiologist had amazing bedside manner and made me feel so comfortable. Surgery can be scary and invasive and I did not feel nervous at all. I felt little pain after and did not need any pain medication after day 3. All in all, the most difficult thing about my surgery was having to sleep on my back, slightly elevated. Today, I am about 6 weeks post op and my results are BEAUTIFUL. I have natural breasts that fit my body perfectly. People are shocked when they find out I have implants. My friends' jaws dropped when I first showed them. They have dropped significantly since my surgery date and my scars are not only small but healing so nicely. The team is so excited for me, I am so happy for myself, but most importantly they are so meticulous when it comes to looking at my breasts and how they are healing. Think twice before coming to this Medspa. DO YOUR RESEARCH on all procedures before getting anything done here. I went in for a procedure called Broadband Light (BBL). It is a procedure that uses the power of intense pulsed light to deliver results in photorejuvenation therapy. It is used to treat a broad range of skin conditions caused by aging and sun exposure. I'm 32 and while I've spent many a summers basking in the sun, I'd still say my skin didn't look very aged or sun damaged (see 1st photo). However, with my fast approaching wedding (4 weeks away from my appointment), I was determined to have the perfect complexion. Mind you, I tested out the procedure the year before to make sure I liked the results and didn't have any adverse reactions. When I went in, I asked if I she could spot treat a few areas on my chest wall. I assumed my chest would react the same way my face did..WRONG. Cory Felber, the technician, acted liked this was no big deal at all and there was no conversation had about it...it was a non-issue. Reminder, my wedding is 4 weeks away and I informed Cory about this and she assured me I'd be fine. I left feeling burning sensation on my face and chest but nothing I wasn't used to from the last time. A few days later I noticed the spots on my chest looked scabbed and almost blistered and not anything like my face and I texted Cory with my concern saying I felt like they would heal and leave me with uneven patches of skin. Please note, my face was healed at this point and the spots flaked off already-which is the normal process. Cory told me I could come in for a "light pass"on my chest to make everything nice and pretty. Not sure what that meant, I went back thinking she'd do something to help heal the scabs or something. She then informed me she'd do the same procedure across my ENTIRE chest wall. I asked if this was the right thing to do with my wedding less than 4 weeks away and she said yes, that was plenty of time to heal. She mentioned I might notice my complexion being slightly lighter because it would be new fresh skin, "not ugly skin damaged skin" but that I could just "go lay out a few times to even out my skin". I was desperate for any fix and I trusted her so I let her take a pass at my whole chest. I complained of some discomfort throughout the procedure and by the end it was pretty unbearable (I later found out the procedure should be nearly painless with relatively no downtime). She also didn't charge me for the second round. As I was walking to my car I felt sick to my stomach. I felt like I had the most severe sunburn of my life and I felt nauseous the whole drive home. I immediately put ice on it but the burning sensation wouldn't go away. I went to bed about 7 hours later and woke up with a severely red chest (see 2nd photo) and a lot of concern. As the days continued my chest got worst (see more photos). I texted Cory continuously and sent her photos and she kept assuring me this was ALL NORMAL and that it would "get ugly before it [got] pretty". She even encouraged me to work out and insisted that sweating would be good for me and that the "blisters" I was seeing were just pockets of dried air and the sweat would help release them. Mind you, I couldn't even put a sports bra on because my chest was so tender and raw still and this was about 4-5 days after the procedure. I gave it a week and when things just didn't look or feel right, I contacted a friend of mine in the medical field and she said I needed to go to a dermatologist or plastic surgeon IMMEDIATELY and that what she saw looked like a severe burn. I reached out to plastic surgeons and dermatologists, drove all over the greater Los Angeles area for consultations. Eventually was able to get an appointment with my dermatologist who confirmed I had SECOND DEGREE BURNS ON MY ENTIRE CHEST WALL. I received a prescription for a topical steroid and burn gels to help soothe my chest. I was also informed that this procedure should have never been done on someone with a darker complexion or tanned skin. My skin in an olive tone and I was VERY tan. I had been laying out every weekend prior to the appointment and never once was my skin color or tanned skin brought up as a concern before doing the procedure 2 weeks later and 2 weeks away from my wedding, my skin started to peel. It eventually all peeled off leaving my skin looking uneven and discolored. You can even see where she "stamped" the light (the rectangular shapes near my arm)- see photos. Well, it's been over 4 months and my skin still hasn't returned to normal. There is discoloration across my entire chest and those sun spots she treated the first time around? Well those are still there and visibly lighter than everywhere else. (See photos) I'm writing this to urge everyone to DO THEIR RESEARCH before ever doing any procedures. Be knowledgeable and ask all the questions and if something doesn't feel/seem right, speak up or better yet, get a 2nd opinion. read more

i went in a year ago to discuss cool sculpting and was so impressed with Rachel and her knowledge of the procedure and the true expectation of the results i have been going ever since. I wanted someone that was going to be honest and not just try to sell me a package. She let me know at my age and the way i take care of my body what to truly expect and i could not be HAPPIER! I feel like a new person thanks to her advice and expertise. She also gives amazing facials. My skin has never looked better. i agree parking should be included or at least some validation should be given for the money that you spend , but it is the Marina and that is normal. I used to get my Botox there with Carla however since she has left the practice I was given Botox by Cory Felber and after injection my right side eyelid dropped. It's disappointing and after reading other people's reviews I realized I am not the only one who suffered the problem. The practice is not as good as before, particularly in customer service. Dr Macia's is nothing short of amazing. In May 2017 I got a no drain tummy tuck in addition to abdomen lipo. I have 2 friends that went elsewhere and their results look no where near mine. Carla is very nice, but I cannot recommend her services. I went in twice: for under eye and then cheek fillers. She gave me the worst black eye of my life during the under eye fillers. But I suppose that happens to everyone. Then, with the cheek injections, she used Voluma and put it too high on my face. It completely distorted the shape of my face, and I'm two months out from my engagement photos (11 months out from my wedding). I look so much worse, it's a joke that I paid to do this to myself. No, I don't go here for Botox. Or boob jobs. Not that I couldn't benefit from both. But I have been seeing Cory at Marina Plastic Surgery for about....17 years. 'Bout time I wrote a review, ya think? Back in the very old days when nobody had heard of sunscreen, we slathered ourselves with baby oil & laid on the beach all summer in the scorching sun. Getting a 'good' tan meant initially enduring a series of horrible blistering sunburns. We even continuously sprayed water on ourselves, atop the oil, to accelerate the baking process. Oh, if only I could turn back time for a do-over. Because now I'm treated every couple months for ongoing skin damage issues due to sun overexposure. And that's where Cory comes in. She knows her stuff (treatments are virtually painless) & I absolutely love her. I actually look forward to my appointments. ....Except for recently, when she's been sticking teeny needles into my legs. Just kidding! - most of the time you don't even feel it (coming from a person who thinks acupuncture is excruciating). It's for varicose veins. My grandmother had 'em, as did my mother. Cory's been doing vein treatments for 20 years. She's good. Mine were unsightly, getting "rope-y", but not any more. Three rounds of injectables has pretty much done the trick. Had I known it would be so easy, I woulda done this years ago. I pay out-of-pocket for all this stuff, and for everything I've had done the cost has been very reasonable. If you have any history of sunburns: be sure to get checked out now. If you don't know where to go for ugly veins: go here before they're really bad because there are all kinds of options for non-invasive procedures. And Marina Plastic Surgery's services are not just for women. Men will be comfortable here, too. There's even a man cave-type room where the guys can hang out. Thank you, Cory. I highly recommend Marina Plastic Surgery! I had a wonderful experience working with Lindsey and Dr. Stevens. I had an old tattoo I was considering covering up with another. Before I made the leap of faith, I started conducting research on tattoo removal services in Los Angeles. I did my research and discovered that Dr. Stevens is one of the top plastic surgeons on the planet! He was also conveniently located in the Marina. I love everyone here, and I love the atmosphere of the waiting room area, it is very calming with sunken chairs and an aquarium. From the very moment you arrive, Desire greets you, and I appreciate that. I live in South Orange County and I consulted with 5 highly qualified, reputable surgeons for breast revision and upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery. Four of those surgeons were in So. Orange County and one was in Marina Del Rey. I wasn't looking for the most affordable surgeon; I was looking for someone with a good reputation and good staff who was willing and able to listen to me and work with me, rather than just telling me what they thought I wanted. I originally found that with Dr. Stevens. He was my last consultation and I didn't want to like him because of the distance, but I loved him and made my decision immediately. Unfortunately, COVID hit right after my consultation, so I put off my surgery and called back in 2022. I was SO bummed to hear that Dr. Stevens had retired, but I truly believed that he wouldn't hire a less than stellar replacement. I decided to meet with Dr. Perez and I was extremely happy to discover that he made me feel the same way Dr. Stevens made me feel. It was obvious he knew what he was talking about and I just knew he was the surgeon I needed. Regarding the staff: I dealt with Desire in 2019 and 2022 and she was very professional, helpful and wonderful to work with both times. I can't remember everyone's names, but I can tell you that every single person I interacted with was kind, gentle, helpful and professional before, during and after surgery. Now I have to give a special shoutout to Nurse Tami Greiner: she went above and beyond the call of duty from the very first time I talked to her up until now! She's extremely caring, attentive, knowledgeable, funny, responsive and I'm so grateful that she was my nurse during this experience. I love my results, too. I want to start by saying THANK YOU to my surgeon Dr. Perez and to his team. My surgery included tummy tuck, breast augmentation with a breast lift, and liposuction (Mommy Makeover). I had six other consults previously and none were as impressive nor convincing. Dr. Perez knew exactly what I wanted and was very professional, he answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I entrusted my transformation to him and his team. Dr. Perez is an extremely talented plastic surgeon. From beginning to end I have nothing but the best to say about the results and care I received. The extent of information I was given as to what to do before and what to expect after my surgery date was amazingly reassuring. I literally cried when I saw my new body and I'm only 5 weeks post-op. His skills are unique, as he leaves minimal scarring and uses techniques in his operation which eliminate the risk of infection. The pain level was 2 out of 10. I am extremely pleased with my procedure and will refer everyone for any cosmetic surgery to Dr. Perez. First I want to preface that Paulette the facialist and Jennifer the injector are wonderful. 5 stars for them! I had three less than stellar experiences at Marina Plastic Surgery. First regarding a consolation with a Doctor accompanying an extortionate quote amount (quoted over double what skilled honest doctors in Beverley Hills charge) and second and third with another facialist who performed two peels. I got 'randomly' selected to come in for a free facial and 20 units of botox, so I decided to try it out again, why not? I'm not sure if it was random or if it was related to my first review, but it was much appreciated and respected. I had a great experience with both. Jennifer, the injector, takes her time and really throughly answers all your questions. She's super honest and is good at what she does. I'd definitely recommend her in a heart beat. Paulette the facialist has positive energy all around, very welcoming, and my facial was lovely. Overall though, I think Marina Plastic is just okay. Duly noted, they are always on time and I've never had to wait long, which is great. Parking is around $20. The office feels very old fashioned Vegasy and almost like a factory. You walk in and everything feels dark and artificial and there are TVs everywhere with the advertisements of the doctors. It just doesn't feel genuine. If you meet a great surgeon, you know and it doesn't come from ads plastered all over the office. In the past, I've learned the hard way and you have to feel 100% about a surgeon and the office you end up choosing for a surgery, so just go with what makes you feel 100%. I want to feel light and happy when I go somewhere for beauty treatments of any kind. I think Marina Plastic is just for a different kind of customer. I inquired about Cool Sculpting and received automated email from Lindsey stating to expedite to call or text. I called and left a message requesting a call back. While I was leavong a message, Lindsey texted me saying she is on the other line and text would be faster. Since I left a VM, I was expecting a call back. I waited over 24 hrs and yet no call. So I texted Lindsey. She texted me back asking what I wanted a consult for and she would check tomorrow. What is insane is she then proceeded to ask me to text her to follow up. I am the customer who is willing to pay. Shouldn't she do her job and follow up? Anyways she proceeded to give me excuses. Obviously they have enough customers they dont want my business.
