If I could give Dr. Kim six stars, I absolutely would. I spent about two years consulting with different surgeons, and Dr. Kim was the only one I returned to for a second consultation. No matter who else I met with, I kept coming back to his work. Since I was living in Los Angeles, his pricing was very much in line with other surgeons in the area, I'm currently about eight weeks post-op. While my final results are still developing, I can confidently say that through every stage of healing so far, my results have been exactly what I envisioned. I was initially very nervous about undergoing surgery, especially since this was my first major procedure and I wasn't unhappy with my natural size (starting at a full B cup). However, I have absolutely no regrets--if anything, I would make the same decision again without hesitation. I'm already hoping that when the time comes years from now to replace my implants, Dr. Kim is still practicing in Beverly Hills, because I truly wouldn't consider going anywhere else. One of the key reasons I chose him was that he was one of the few surgeons willing to perform the procedure through an armpit incision, which was a non negotiable for me On the day of surgery, I did feel quite anxious, but his pre opt team was incredible, I first met the pre-op nurse that had such a warm, calming presence--she was incredibly reassuring and made me feel genuinely cared for. She explained how experienced Dr. Kim is, how easy of a surgery this is and how I'd just be taking a short nap and wake up with my dream body! Shortly after meeting this amazing woman, I had another wonderful experience with the anesthesiologist as well, who took the time to walk me through everything and reassure me. He emphasized that he would be monitoring me the entire time, fully present and attentive, which gave me a deep sense of comfort and safety. That I greatly appreciated due to the fact of being EXTREMELY nervous that morning Before the procedure, Dr. Kim came in, carefully marked everything, and made sure we were completely aligned on my goals. I felt very confident in his hands. From my hours of research on breast augmentations I had heard that results can look concerning in the first few days post-op, so I was hesitant to look at my results right away, but even on just day 3 or 4, when I was able to shower, I was honestly AMAZED. Even that early on, I loved how they looked. Since then, they've only continued to improve. Each week they look & feel more natural. The results have continued to exceed my expectations. I am a 51 year old aesthetician, I have two children and live in San Francisco. I had my eyelid surgery here a year ago. I had a lot of loose skin and my eyelashes were actually poking and irritating my eyes. Also my eyes looked tired all the time. Dr. Kim removed skin and fixed my eyelid muscles. Recovery was pretty smooth, some bruising and swelling in the first couple weeks and it looked ok by about a month. From there every month that passed and the eyes looked more and more natural. Before surgery, I asked for the results to look a natural as possible. He did a great job. Unfortunately, the last visit I had, the Dr. was an hour late. I asked for a discount since I had to wait so long. It was not about the money. His response was that it was normal to wait an HOUR long and that they don't negotiate. No apology. None. Like many doctors, he has gotten arrogant and thinks other people's time isn't as valuable as his. When he did my eye lids, he cut too high on my left eye and i had to live with that for a few years. It did not look good. He offered to fix it but then i have to have more down time and i cannot miss work. He doesnt apologize for his mistakes or compensate for them. It has smoothed out some but I still see it. Also, when he took out the fat from under my eyes, now I have grooves there permanently. I would go to someone else. He use to be nicer but now it's all about churn and burn $$$$. GREED. Get as many people in and charge as much as possible . My friend was interested but I will tell her not to go to him.
