It took a few minutes to prepare but she added fresh lettuce, tomato and onion..and it was so delicious and had a light sauce that was a touch spicy..a garlic aioli. Today because they open at 7am, I came for grilled steak burrito I also had a small almond milk mocha that I sipped after eating. Sprouts can have a bitter aftertaste if done incorrectly but Kin's were crispy yet tender inside. It was dressed with bacon and grated Parmesan. I ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich. I would have loved a much thinner bread for the sandwich or it being panini style. My only pickle about this sandwich was the bread top was too thick and the chicken got lost in the sandwich. A stronger basil flavor in the pesto would have also done the sandwich justice. Overall, seems a good spot for lunch and dinner.

During my last visit, I selected an assorted box of six bonbons, which were all so beautiful and looked like mini pieces of art. They offer a refillable gift box, which is nice to know for the future. I love that they always have different flavors available. The chocolates literally melt in your mouth, they are that good!    I've also tried their desserts, and they are absolutely delicious too! They usually have a couple of different options available. In addition to sweet treats, they have coffee drinks too. They have a great seating area inside with tables and chairs as well as bar seating at the windows. In addition to the indoor area, they have a garden seating area out back.

The bracelet limits each person to a max 3 pours of the Younger, and 3 bottle purchase. Got seated about 10:40 , but the wait flew by helped by the almost festival atmosphere amongst those in line(bonded and chatted with 3 guys next to us who had flown up from LA area just for this) 1st, every employee I encountered was friendly and service was top notch. Started with a taster of Russian River 110 and Tempo Change, both were nice, light, but not the reason I came 2+ hours on drive + another 2 in line. The Pliney Younger was as advertised, tasting and drinking lighter than its Triple IPA packing power . Orders some Riccotta donut holes to help ease the consumption of the 3 IPA's and they were fantastic, dense dobut, not overly sweet so the chocolate dipping sauce was a nice touch. I love local wines, but this Italian girl also loves exploring and trying these imported Italian wines and provisions too. Variety...the spice of life! The owners are extremely knowledgeable about all the wines they carry. Need a recommendation? Just ask! I've been in a few times so far to purchase Italian wines and treats including Antonio Mattei Biscotti di Prato (the best biscotti ever!), torrone (a nougat confection), pasta, and tomato sauce. They also carry Italian sardines, olive oils, cookbooks, wine decanters, and more. Large, excellent selection of high quality wine from every region in Italy. Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany etc. etc. they are all covered and in EVERY price range. I have bought numerous bottles based off the recommendations of the owners, all have been exceptional. Add in a large selection of French Champagne and Italian sparkling wine and you have a truly unique assortment of Italian wine and French Champagne. If that was the extent of Ciao Bruto it would be great but the provisions part of the store is awesome! Specialty Italian ancient grain pasta in all shapes and sizes. Believe me, you can taste the difference compared to chain store pasta. Also a large assortment of tinned fish-shellfish, honey, spices, vinegars and oils, pickled veggies, various pestos and sauces, flour, chocolates and others confections, pasta making machines, Italian cookbooks and a whole lot more. All this imported from Italy! You can't quite completely "grocery shop" there but you can get specialty food, wine and provisions you simply can't get anywhere else. Ciao Bruto is the creation from the people next door at Idlewild Wines, also makers of great Italian Piedmont varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbara, Nebbiolo, Arneis etc. all grown in nearby Mendocino County. Service at Ciao Bruto is friendly and very helpful. Not sure about Italian wine, French Champagne or specialty food from Italy, no problem, just ask for help from Courtney whose expertise is French Champagne or Thomas whose knowledge is all about Italian wine and food.
