We decided to hire Maria's Super Clean Service to clean our home following some recent interior work. We specifically requested and paid for a deep cleaning, but unfortunately, neither Maria nor the individuals she sent seemed to grasp the concept of a deep clean. Communication was challenging, as they had limited English proficiency, and we struggled to understand what they were saying.
Upon inspecting the house after the cleaning, we were disappointed to find dust lingering on various surfaces, including fan blades, base moldings, window blinds, light fixtures, and more. It was clear that the deep cleaning we paid for was not recieved.
We promptly contacted Maria to express our concerns and request a follow-up cleaning to address the missed spots and she agreed to a follow-up cleaning. However, a few hours later, we received a call from Maria claiming that the maid who had cleaned our home said we were satisfied with the job. She abruptly stated that it was too far for them to return and hung up the phone. This response, coupled with the language barrier between the maid and the customer, left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. It fell well below the standard of customer service we expected from a company entrusted to work within our home.
It's worth noting that Maria's Super Cleaning Services does not appear to be a registered business in the Secretary of State business name search, which she operates under. This lack of official recognition may leave customers vulnerable in case her employees accidentally damage something in their homes or worse. Moreover, her website, previously hosted on GoDaddy.com, has been terminated.
Considering this experience, our next step will be to report our concerns to the Secretary of State (SOS) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). We hope that others who consider using Maria's services in the future have a more satisfactory experience. read more
