I've been to a few hair salons to have my beard trimmed but this was a different experience they started off with a microscope to see the health of my hair and sent me in a good direction to make sure I don't have balding in the future. 29 years of shaving my Head Maria convinced me to style my hair and I absolutely love it. I wish somebody would've convinced me years ago. Last but not least I have had multiple bad experiences with trimming my beard and I'm always very nervous but after Maria trimmed my beard it has been the healthiest and best looking ever. Ever. Thank you for everything and I look forward to being a lifelong customer read more

This was my first visit to Maria's, and they were very welcoming. I didn't need much - a bit of a trim and a nice style for an event. Gemma took great care of me, and was thoughtful, down-to-earth, and immediately someone I felt comfortable with. My hair turned out great, and I very much appreciated her assuring me that it was no problem at all to work around my N95 face mask. They even let me use their bathroom to change into my dress for the event, since I had to head straight there! I look forward to my next visit (and I generally only give 5 stars after I've had multiple experiences and can rate reliability/consistency.) P.S. I ran into a colleague while I was there, and it turns out, she's been going to Maria's salon for 20 years, following them any time they changed location. This is a lady who always looks put together, so I take that as a very good sign, coming from her! read more

Maria and her staff are amazing!!! I started coming here for hair loss a few months back and continue to come here for it. Let me just say WOW! My hair has completely changed. I am no longer losing my hair but I also have more hair growing. For years I thought all my hair shedding was normal for the amount I was losing with how thick my hair is....little did I know its not normal, and when I started to notice on the top of my head how much it was thinning out I seeked out solutions and Maria was that person for me. Now my hair shedding is almost nothing. The amount I was losing in 1 day is still more then what I now lose in 1 month. The itching I had and tension I was feeling is gone. The feel, the texture, the look of my hair is so different. My hair actually looks and feels so healthy again. Its becoming fuller and have volume again. Everyone around me how much of a difference my hair looks. The best part is I have learned so much about my hair and the do's and don't's with it too. Maria knows so much and I have listened to her and changed the things I needed to change. Maria has never made me feel uncomfortable as I do have a hair stylist that does my hair coloring and I have been going to her for many years, I dont want to cheat on her, lol and Maria respects this and has never once tried to steer me away from her. She is committed to helping my hair get back to where it should be and the progress in the last few months has been amazing. The whole staff is amazing they all know so much and I would have no problem sitting down with anyone of them to do my hair. If you are looking for results go see them here and follow what their recommendations are to give you results. Remember its a process, trust the process and I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

Somehow, I made it this far in life never learning that our scalps are an extension of our faces and we must treat them with equal care. In desiring a great head of hair, the logical place to start is with a healthy scalp. Whaaat?! They use a scoping machine to assess the factors which go into a healthy scalp and strong hair, then make personalized "prescriptions" for your products and services. Amazing! Best of all, the products are botanically-based, free of silicones and petrochemicals and other nasty stuff, and also highly-concentrated, so you're not paying for water. I did brow shaping and tinting, and it was the most comfortable waxing experience I've ever had. From now on, only Maria Vitale Salon will do my brows. Booking my next appointment for cut and highlights. I'm hooked. read more

Maria is one of a very small group of master stylists in the country. We are so lucky to have her right here in the Temecula Valley when she could be in downtown Manhattan, Chicago or any other chic environment. She and her staff are pros and going to Maria Vitale Salon is an experience you won't want to miss! read more

While out here on vacation for a couple of weeks I had the pleasure of spending some time at the salon. My cousin had recommended getting a scalp treatment while I was here and it was amazing. I learned so much and my hair felt so much better, I booked a second one. Maria took the time to thoroughly explain the condition of my scalp and how to fix it especially since I'm from out of state and don't have regular access to the services she offers. Victoria was my main stylist and she was very friendly and did a great job. I will absolutely make this an annual appointment every October. read more

Karina did an awesome job on my hair, and turned a bad cut (from another salon) into an attractive style. That took talent, skill, and a patient ear to listen to what the client (me!) acutally wanted in the first place. She did it! Everyone was super-nice, and it's a beautiful, clean environment uncluttered by stuff to buy that has nothing to do with hair. Brava, Maria Vitale Salon - and thank you, Karina! See you in a few weeks! read more

Patty Allen is the reason I am giving this salon 5 stars! I have been a client of hers for about 7 years and she is an awesome stylist, a true artist! She takes the time to consult before every appointment so that she has a clear understanding of what I want done, makes professional suggestions and always impresses me with a beautiful result. The salon is done in a contemporary and minimalist style, which is a great idea as the focus is then directed to the client. I appreciate that Maria always takes the time to say hello. Christina the receptionist is very friendly. I recommend this salon and especially Patty Allen!!! read more

I had done a lot of research before i picked this salon and im not happy at all with what i got. I had long hair all one length and wanted a pixie cut with a pale pale blue color. I showed her pictures. I was in the chair from 1 - 4:15pm. I told the girl that i wasnt feeling well and would come back the next day for the color. I paid for the whole thing up front. I did not like the cut and asked if someone else could look at it and possibly fix it. I was told no that i had to deal with the girl who cut it. When she gave me my color, it wasnt pale blue, it was GREEN as could be. She chopped the back of my hair so badly, Its embarrassing. I had the green pulled out also. I dont know what i did to get the worst cut and color from this salon, but i will never recommend, nor would i ever return. $150.00 for nothing. read more

horrible, service Erica cut and highlighted my hair, the first time over processed way to blond after letting her do it again 8 months later she under highlighted and when I asked her to redo it because she didn't leave the highlights in long enough said NO! $140.00 for a partial (15.00 tip) and called the manager who did nothing but offer the stylist to redo it after a week. I asked to speak with the owner never got a phone call, follow up, kiss my but reply!! THIEVES!! Erica will never touch this head again! read more

5 stars all the way. Maria & her crew truly know to get "healthy" hair. Kudos ladies.

After moving to the area from Miami, I was sure it would take some time to find the perfect salon. I use the Phyto product line, so I lucked out when I found Maria Vitale Salon. Sam did full blonde highlights and a trim and I couldn't be happier. The atmosphere in the salon is super friendly and laid back. No salon drama here! I will definitely be going back! read more

Maria has been my hairdresser for 12 + years. She was the first person to tame my wild, naturally curly hair. I can wear my hair straight and it's soft and gorgeous. Prior to her doing my hair, a blow dry left my hair frizzy and by 2pm, my hair looked like Roseanne Rossana Danna. I tried products that claimed to help, but they weighed down my hair and left it greasy. Not a little oily- greasy. Then, I began to see Maria for my hair. She introduced me to Phyto products and I will use nothing else. And it's not just the product- it's the cut. The true test of a great haircut is how it does between my visits to the salon. I really don't think about my hair, until my bangs have grown into my face. I don't have bad hair days. And I can wear my hair curly or straight. I live in Burbank and commute to Temecula to see Maria and her amazing team, in addition to family and friends. Someday, I might have to get my hair done in LA, but my hair does so well between visits and the color holds so well, waiting to see Maria and her team is not a problem. read more

What a fabulous experience I had at Maria Vitale yesterday. I had my color done by Victoria. She was wonderful! She was knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. She did an excellent job on my color and gave me the best shampoo I have ever had. I had my hair cut by Maria. I have had many haircuts/styles in my life. I have had the same style for quite some time, and I was looking for a change. Maria did an incredible job on my haircut and style. She is a true professional and artist. I will not go anywhere else to get my hair done now. I am truly looking forward to seeing Maria and Victoria again! read more

I was in desperate need of a decent hair cut. I was walking around with stiff "lego block" hair for two weeks. Then prayer and fate intervened :) I met Samantha and she did a fantastic job of transforming my lifeless hair into beautiful flowing locks. She's great and really takes her time with you. Her passion about what she does is not only evident in how well she does hair but also in how well she educates her client's on how to achieve different styling techniques at home. Maria Vitale and her team are a wonderful place to visit and get your hair done. My son plays baseball in Temecula and every year the All-Stars do some funky coloring to their hair. Maria's son played ball with my son this year, and through the goodness of her heart, she volunteered her shop to do the boys' hair. My son Bobby loved his hair and came home with nothing but good things to say about Maria and the ladies in her shop. Thank you Maria Vitale and team. My family appreciates your kindness. read more

So there I was, at the end of a long road of growing out some hair long enough to donate to wigs for kids. I had such a mess on top of my head that I didn't know what to do with it anymore, and it was finally time to get the ponytail excommunicated from my noggin, as well as get the Grizzly Adams style man-mane tamed on my face. I went to see Keri, more than a little nervous to let someone take scissors to my beard. After she informed me of her extensive experience, I felt much more at ease. She started with the ponytail, and nearly broke her shears trying to get through it (what can I say? My hair is a tough as I am...) once that was gone, she went to work snipping and styling her heart out with the vague instructions to "make sure I look good when you're done". She put down the clippers and the shear and took me to the shampoo station, where the real magic happened. Everyone knows that the shampoo is the best part of the haircut, and this was the exception, in that it ruined me for other shampoos for the rest of my life. Her nimble fingers danced like a dozen little angels preforming a dance of sugarplum fairies upon my scalp. Then it was back to the chair for the beard trim. As I said, I was nervous to allow and one to take a blade to the temple of manliness that enshrines my face, but the temple had been left unkempt, and it was time for some renovations. Keri is a master of her craft, and was able to delicately turn what had developed into something akin to the ruins of a Mayan temple swallowed by a jungle into a glorious Taj mahal resting upon my chin. I walked in the door looking like a wild mountain man, and walked out looking like a wildly handsome man. TL;DR: Easily the second best experience of my life, 12 out of 10 stars for Keri and her magical shears, whose skillz definitely pay the billz read more
