    My hair after BLONDING. Looks the exact same as before my appointment.

    Do your research on the stylist that you're booked with at this salon. I was booked with Aimee Frett for blonding. After sixteen years in the Industry you'd think she'd know how to do hair. Halfway through my appointment she starts talking about clients who have complained about their hair after she does it. Red flag #1. She bleached my hair and then toned it to a color similar to the color I walked in with. I reached out to the owner (not Aimee because I wouldn't want her to touch my hair again) and the owner said she'd throw a few foils in the front. But I am going to pass on that as that's not what I want. $315 wasted. Learned my lesson. Next time I'll get a referral for a stylist and do my research. Hopefully this can save someone else from having a similar experience.

MARISSA CRANE,,,,the experience I had at this place after 4 years of being with my hair stylist and trusting in her and being as loyal as I was to her I am so hurt, angry , mad, disappointed that she could ever do this to me. Marissa Crane not only damaged my hair turned it green and over charged me on extensions says $2000 but I'll give you my price at $1800? and I've had extensions before with bellahami a year before this so I couldn't understand why it was $1000 more but again I trusted her. I gave her the money in 2 split payments a week apart while I waited 2 months to put my extensions in. She wanted to put me in on Valentine's Day,She took a client before me which I thought was strange because something like this can take up to 7 hrs! She did everything in less than 4 hrs!??? I was looking down the whole time because I was able to get my work done on my phone so I didn't think anything of it? She curled it of course so I didn't even realize that my hair was all wrong til the next morning! There was no blending, everything is hurried because she kept talking about going home to her husband because he was making steak like wait what? I waited 2 months for this. I was not only a LOYAL CLIENT FOR 4 years, I was also under her for Monat for 2 years so she's making commission off me as well. I didn't realize til the next morning when the curls came out n I was trying to curl it like what what's happening here? I also paid $430 for install and color and I gave her a $100 tip. So I sent a clip of my hair like what's going on you let me leave like this? She basically said oh yea I can put you in another day next week and it's a QUICK FIX to bring the brown more down on the extensions like wait what? I invested into my hair and that's what I get it was guna be almost 2 weeks til I got in again because she was going on her trip. When she kept saying it was a quick fix more than once was a red flag like this isn't supposed to be quick. I INSTANTLY found someone new who didn't know me but wanted to help me so I went in for a consultation to see what she can do and took pictures of the damage on my hair and even how she put in the extensions was rushed. My new girl said you need to ask for some of your money back this isn't right and I have to charge you my prices which I understand. At first I wasn't upset because I didn't know how bad it was til I saw the pics of my head!!! I sent her the pics of my hair n said I got a consultation and I need my hair completely fixed can I please have the install and color money back please. She literally went off through text and said I insulted her?? And that's 5 hrs of her life??? And said I'm only giving you the $150 for install back and the tip that's it! Right away blocked me through all of social media. I'm the one who should be upset! I went in that Saturday to my new girl and had to redye all my hair and chop off my ends because it green and had so much damage. At that point I was now even more upset I started to cry and had to wait almost another whole week for my extensions but not only that my hair has to be in recovery for 2 years because of the damage!! I spent another $175 with my new girl on just my hair alone, another $375 to fix and color the right blend with my hair and the extensions as well as another $150 in products to help recover my hair! So I went about explaining it on my ig and her mutual friends saw my story and then unblocked me to reach out and say I'm the one being nasty? So she then gave me back the rest of the install money but at that point I need some of that extensions money too because of more money that I have to invest in!! She has the pictures of my hair and clearly is embarrassed and has no integrity to even give me a portion of the extensions money after what I have to go through ? After being loyal to you for years and buying Monat from you for years and also referring people I knew to you and you can't even be the bigger person and apologize and give me back and the money i keep forking out?!! Here you go! You clearly need to take more classes and invest in yourself, overcharging for this type of work should be an art, that is not what I got!

    If you're considering getting your hair done, especially something like a balayage, I'd highly recommend making an appointment with Britt Aston! I had my first ever balayage done by her, and now she's my go-to for getting my hair done. The environment at the salon is amazing, and I always walk out feeling amazing!

    Oh my GOSH! This was a very spa like experience I must say. I loved the feeling of being spoiled by salon owner Jaime Lee with her rain room experience for washing your hair. I didnt want to leave!!!! The feeling of escaping into a tranquil environment was spot on and successful in my opinion. A truly wonderful experience I highly recommend. After a year of covid, this was definitely worth the wait. Thank you Jaime Lee at Mojave Rain & Apothecary , you've done an amazing job with your new salon!!

I debated on leaving this review, but after careful consideration and not even an apology (I didn't ask for a refund so that was the least that could have been done) I decided to leave this review and cancel my next appt with her. So please go at your own risk....the artist was nice and very professional so I trusted her technique. When I messaged her and sent her pictures she said she didn't touch the tail end of my brows and explained that this was due to a brow trim? I didn't know a trim removed hair ? well you can be the judge of that. First picture the left was after I left and the right was before going, second picture is when I left her place the first time, compared to this visit on the right. If a client sends a message right after a service with concerns, then it's in good nature as a business owner to at least apologize because obviously the client isn't happy, when you reply with a defense response AFTER sending pictures that's in very poor taste in my opinion. Thankfully brows do grow and makeup has done wonders but I paid to get a tint and wax to a avoid having to do this and save time in the mornings before work, needless to say that did not happen because I am having to work on them every morning until they grow out.
