Her office is different from the office I'm used to going to, the staff up front were kind and helpful! It's a smaller office then the one I'm used to going to, but I think that's a good thing. I was very nervous about trying out a new doctor but Dr. Meena is very kind, friendly and the best of all thorough! She listened to everything I had to say all my concerns as to what has been going on with me. She did a great check up, she did an EKG in the office, and she sent me for lab work to make sure everything is well so that we can figure out what is going on with me. I have not been to a doctor where I have felt like they care in a very long time it was a nice change to have a doctor do a good thorough visit and listen to everything that was concerning me. Her advice and care was great.

From the first visit I was put at ease with her gentle bedside manner, keen ability to listen and feeling that she was wholly interested in my well being. To properly diagnose a problem, Dr. Meena takes the time to ask pertinent questions and develop a wellness plan. Her knowledge of the human body, prescriptions and possible interactions are mystifying. Additionally, Dr. Meena is able to provide medical information in layman's terms in a way that you don't feel talked down to or left not knowing what was said between all the medical jargon. I truly am grateful to have found Dr. Meena and to be under her care. I trust her implicitly with my health and appreciate the fact that when needed, she is quick to refer you to a specialist to further address a specific ailment. There is absolutely no issue I would hesitate to discuss with Dr. Meena. In each visit, I feel as though Dr. Meena takes the time to review my chart, research options or care plans, and is focused on me and my health. Too often you run into busy doctors who read the chart as they enter the room and quickly diagnose you and leave. I've never felt rushed, nor neglected, while at Excel Primary Care. Finally, her support staff is attentive, responsive and equally mild-mannered helping you through what could be stressful or uncomfortable times. The only area for improvement I could recommend is adding an online bill pay option. Minor item, but that would bring this practice to ultimate perfection!

My son's pediatrician is located all the way in downtown Phoenix, and I just don't have the energy to also drive my daughter all the way from where we are in the East Valley. Dr. Ijaola is proficient, punctual, and personable enough. He's been very thorough during my daughter's last 2 checkups. I also decided to finally have a wellness check for myself since the birth of my daughter was so horrific for both of us. My primary care physician also works at this office. She's one of the nurse practitioners. And she is extremely knowledgeable and thorough as well. Bonus, their office is immaculate and seriously, the fact that you can show up to your appointment on time and be seen right away with zero wait time is amazing!

I have lived all over America (and all over the world) with my occupation, and I have NEVER had such lack of medical care as in the Phoenix area. After living over half my life with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Raynaud's Syndrome & Hypothyroid, as well as going through aggressive Ovarian Cancer & chemo in my 30s, it is refreshing to find rheumatologist that isn't desensitized to considerate care of the autoimmune issues at hand. Dr. Pace is kind, patient, understanding, competent, and thorough. I feel like I finally have a rheumatologist that is on my side as I continue to battle my health issues.

This allows Dr. Pace to thrive at problem solving and make obscure connections other providers may have missed.

I am going to be rather straight forward in this review. I do like Dr. Panday. She has been open…read moreand receptive to most of the discussions we've had, however I do believe her practice she works for (East Valley Diabetes and Endocrinology) is completely and utterly inept. She is excellent for my care of type 2 diabetes. I used to take Metformin and due to the absolute severe diarrhea it constantly gave me it made life difficult. Dr. Panday transferred me over to Mounjaro and it's been great ever since. I am less impressed with her TRT therapy, though I have to give a little leeway here as most docs are just not well informed on replacement therapy. I will add to this that I am not looking for super high levels. Untreated my test levels were at 205ng/dl, which are well below the ADA thresholds of 300ng/dl for replacement therapy being a recommendation and I did two separate tests in the morning fasted as designed. My gripes are that she is constantly trying to adjust my dosage, rather than just sticking with a dosage so my body is constantly just trying to keep up with the changes rather than finding a nice homestasis. Granted my free test is still slightly above reference range, but again free testosterone has about a 30 minute half life and fluctuates greatly and it's only minorly over whereas my total test levels are dropping into the 600's which is a bigger concern to me. As long as I feel good, my bp is controlled and hematocrit is within tolerance I should be fine to continue a stable dosage. Before her my primary was treating me and just kept my dosage at 120mg/week split into two doses (I still mourn every day my primary moved away). On top of that she requires that I see her every 3 months "due to a controlled substance" which is complete malarkey, the only truth is that you have to do refills every 3 months you can't auto-refill like other medications vs controlled substances. This is an absolute shameless tactic of a medical office to increase billing charges. So as a result I will be taking my test back to my primary at the same office or returning to a TRT clinic, ironic since they have absolutely zero qualms handing out a 200mg/wk dosage without any issues. So all in all she's pretty decent. Her practice just sucks.

The level of neglect at this office is frustrating and outrageous. To start, it is impossible to…read morecommunicate with them through any human channel; they force you to do the entire process and booking online. After waiting patiently for two months for my medical appointment, I arrive at the clinic only to find out I'm not even in their system. To make matters worse, the lady at the front desk, far from showing any empathy or trying to find a solution, had a terrible attitude and just told me my insurance wasn't accepted there--something they couldn't even verify with certainty themselves. Their only "solution"? For me to go home and wait another two months for a new appointment. They did absolutely nothing to help. It is shameful to see what the medical system in this country has come to. Patient care and respect for people's time are alarmingly poor. No one should have to go through this kind of emotional drain when it comes to their health. I do not recommend this place at all; look for an option where they actually treat you like a human being. Quick tip: Just like in the Spanish version, adding the specific department or doctor's name at the very beginning can make the review even more effective. I hope you find a doctor's office that treats you with the professionalism you deserve!
