If you are Awake then avoid this place!…read more I took my mother here in hopes of getting approval for an oxygen machine thru Medicare, due to the partial lung removal she had a decade ago. She is short of breath regularly, so I thought oxygen machine would be a good fix for this problem. The place must be very busy because the first available appointment was 5+ weeks out. Usually in a busy office they are many other people getting treatment when you show up, but in this case the office was empty of any other patients. They weren't busy at all. Upon arrival they collected all of the forms we had filled out and got us back into an exam room right away. The med tech came in to do some basic testing and breathing evaluations. I explained the purpose for our visit right away, and he seemed to change his attitude after this. He was also concerned that they didn't have any of the records from her history. He was very polite during his exam, but I had to laugh at the fact that he was wearing a cloth mask. A pulmonary office should be aware of the negative effects caused by wearing a mask all day, but since the office staff didn't have masks on I knew that it was a choice thing for him. Next the doctor showed up wearing a mask, and I almost got up and walked out at that point. After talking with him, and explaining the reason for our visit he said he couldn't help us because the EtcO2 readings she had were over 88. He then tried to argue for an inhaler treatment, which I refused. They didn't bother doing any of the exercises testing, which would have shown her need for the oxygen. If you want to see a doctor that doesn't even know that mask wearing is detrimental to your health, then this is your place. If you are still wear a mask yourself then this is your place, but if you have a brain then you'll avoid this place. This group should be avoided at all costs. You can't fix EVIL or STUPID, and I believe that these people are both! What happened to "Do know harm?"

I had no problem with the office getting an appointment and everyone was pleasant. I saw the…read moredoctor who answered all my questions. And he said I could quit O2 during the day, so that may be why I was so happy with him. A chest xray was ordered, and I'm hoping to get in to discuss it.

First time here and I walked out of this doctor's office without being seen due to the…read moreunprofessionalism. It took weeks of calls to finally get through to someone to make an appointment, then it was scheduled for two months later. I found out the day before that the appointment time that I was given was incorrect. I was told that I would receive a paperwork packet, but when they mailed it to my doctor's address instead of mine. Okay, mistakes happen. Upon arrival, I paid my copay, and I was handed a stack of paperwork to complete, which was particularly challenging as I suffer from severe arthritis. Which is why receiving the paperwork packet beforehand would have been helpful - more time and my husband could help. I was led to an exam room to fill out the paperwork and the door was left open. The front office staff were engaged in such loud arguments, it made it difficult to concentrate. Even worse, part of the yelling was over not wanting to call a patient and refusing to stay after work to deal with them. I decided it was best to leave as I did not feel comfortable or safe with this office handling my medical care. Dr. Bekteshi walked in as I was preparing to leave, when told of my decision to leave and not come back, he seemed indifferent, unsurprised and unconcerned. For all I know, Dr. Bekteshi may be a good doctor, but his practice severely lacks professionalism and organization. The one positive was the Medical Assistant, Anthony. He was professional and kind.

When a growth was discovered on my CT scan to have slowly grown, he suggested a biopsy. My son, also a physician felt my wait for a scheduled biopsy could be expedited via his connections so, if this was a malignancy it would be treated as quickly as possible. That biopsy was not through Dr. Bekteshi. I a week later received a call from Dr. Bekteshi scolding me for not having him do the biopsy. He was rude and dismissive. He was very unprofessional and very rude in this phone conversation. He has no personality and no report with his patients . That for me settled it, I am done.

After her visit today she is finally making the decision to leave and go somewhere else. This doctor has absolutely NO bedside manners. She is rude, talks over the patient, and acts as if she is simple angry to be there. Instead of listening to the patient and hearing about their issues they would like help with, she disregards and downplays everything. She only reads patients charts when she steps into the room (something she should do before hand). I cannot believe the stories my mom has come home with, telling us how poorly she was treated by her during her visit. Not to mention during this pandemic, the staff handled things horrible. They did not make the patients wait in their cars until the time of their appointment. They had people sitting in the waiting room and one of the workers even had her mask pulled down exposing her nose. So unprofessional! I would not recommended her to anybody.

Really? Now you tell me and I just wasted a co pay on this visit and an hour and half of my time and now I need to go get another one and subject my lungs to more radiation? Would of been nice if someone called to say the scan was no good. Sounds fishy...How could the scan be no good...Dr Kadikar made me PROMISE to come back after my next CT scan to go over the results.....So then I go get another CT scan and here I am waiting and Dr Kadikar is not even in the building! No respect for my time. So disrespectful of her to not care about her patients time. She doesn't even review any notes or look at your chart until she is in the room with you. It's the first time she bothered to look over my results is when she finally made her way into the room. After another full hour! Ridiculous! And guess what all was good nothing on the scan. A simple phone call would of worked...but then you wouldn't of gotten paid $300 for 3 min of your time with me. Respect your patients time. If it wasn't for us you wouldn't have this practice.
