Had a Wednesday special bogo. Kind of a mix between enchiladas & quesadilla was quite good and a large portion. 4 people shared a pitcher of margaritas- enough for about a glass and half each . Large language barrier with waiter - but he tried hard .

This was an incredibly weird dining experience. I should have read the reviews in advance, but my friends and I went here because of close proximity to where we were staying. The restaurant was playing music at an incredibly high volume when we entered (and it wasn't one which had a dance floor) and one of their customers started dancing near our table and flipping her hair that it got into my friend's food. We felt very weird so we decided to leave without entirely finishing our meals. From a service standpoint, they should have better control of their restaurant because we felt uncomfortable. I had also asked for black beans in my meal, but was given refried beans and food was kind of mediocre. I think they could have decent potential given their great location close to the Peabody in downtown Memphis, but they need to make significant changes for improvement.

To start, the Margarita's dip we got was cold and watery. I would not come here for food again. However, the Margaritas themselves were lovely and gave a liberal amount of tequila. The atmosphere was very fun for a night out, but the service was poor. Overall, I would come here for drinks but not much else.

This is my go to spot after I get off work. Usually it's pretty lit here. The music is good, staff is kind, and their deals are amazing. AND you get free chips and salsa that's absolutely delicious. I love the amber dos they have on tap as well as the big sized beers. This is a fun hangout and drink type spot. Stop in and give them a try.

Seafood Enchiladas with grilled onions on the inside

That seafood enchilada was THE BOMBBBBBB!!! And was beautifully served! The way it was plated I thought I was in another restaurant.. more like an upscaled restaurant! It was really plated nicely! My child had some plate that had three or five big ass grilled shrimp on them. She said it was even seasoned with some buttery garlic sauce! Her plate had chicken and steak and two types of tamales on them. Yall..... the food here is the bomb! But this service.. poor baby boy. I think he just lost his girlfriend or boyfriend or whomever was his significant other. His head was so in the clouds that he on three times forgot to bring my grandson's water. And he was so soft spoken like he had just recently been heartbroken. I should have been frustrated with the lack of service or the forgetfulness of service, but I didn't. I just really felt bad for this kid. And trust me they had a bunch of high schoolers working here it looked like! So you saw a lot of head Downs looking into phones. I guess I'm not going to make a big deal of that because the food was so damn good. So don't order in! Order your food to go and walk back to your hotel or Uber! But the food is very much worth the visit! I just don't know about that service though hahaha! Poor baby.

I called in a to-go order around 5pm on a Thurs night. I ordered based on their website. Got my total and was told it'd be ready in 10min. That was the first lie. It took about 25 minutes and a reminder to the cashier to check on the order. The second lie was the online prices. When I brought up the discrepancy, the cashier chuckled and said it hadn't been updated in years. Ok... Lastly, there's 15% gratuity after 5pm and 18% after 8pm. Even on take-out orders. The food was okay. There's better Mexican food in Memphis. Specifically Las Delicias. I believe this place might be known for what they named themselves after: margaritas.

We've been trying to hit this place up for a while but never seemed to be able to be in the area when they were open. We finally had a shot after we left Anime Blues so we dropped by here. It was an off hour so it was mostly empty but there were still a few other diners. We ate our food and it was pretty good. Hubby didn't like his burrito even though he had changed out the shrimp for some carnitas but my flautas were delish! The plate wasn't as impressive as the picture but it still tasted really good. The mango salsa was definitely worth it. I def need to get chimichangas and flautas more often. The drink we got was cool looking but not that impressive in flavor. The food was pretty normal for a Tex Mex place but they have some interesting and unique options and platings that I'd be willing to return and try. To Try: Carnitas Dinner Pollo Parrilla Arroz Margarita's Pollo con Crema Fajita Quesadilla Eduardo's Fajitas Pineapple Volcano Fajitas Loved: - Margarita's Flautas Liked: Drink: Piña Colada Ok: - Burrito: California (swap out shrimp for carnitas)

The food was excellent and we had a great server (Maggie) who helped us navigate the menu and the array of complimentary sauces. We ordered chips and dip (homemade) and this is not the standard bagged chips with salsa bottle. Crisp and substantial chips with fresh, flavorful, slightly spicy salsa. Really good! Maggie recommended the Birria Burrito with consume for my husband. Wow!!! Loaded with tender and flavorful shredded beef, whole beans, rice, and cheese in a grilled tortillia wrapper with a rich and hearty consume. He has a healthy appetite and still took some home. I got 2 alpastor tacos, which were excellent. Tender and flavorful pork with just enough pineapple. I alsi had a grilled chicken taco that was good, but not as luscious as the pastor. We LOVED the sauces. Yes, you got some mighty heat with a few of these, but they never sacrificed flavor for the sake of heat. Great pickled onion and habenaros, fresh crisp radish and cucumber, smokey, spicy dips. What is not to love!! Churos for desert, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Clean, well lit reasurant. Casual. Friendly service, great parking!! We will be back (and bring friends!)

I still can't stop thinking about the sauce station here. There's a private parking lot shared with the surrounding businesses, and the restaurant has around 15 tables inside. It is a good casual spot if you are looking to dine here. FOOD: This restaurant does not serve complimentary chips and salsa. It is $2.95 an order. 1. Torta Villa Carbon (4/5; marinated grilled chicken topped with grilled onions, grilled pineapple, melted cheese, jalapeños, and avocado): This was huge. I ended up saving half for lunch the next day. The combination of sweet and savory flavors worked really well together. 2. Campechano Burrito (4/5; steak strips and chorizo with rice, beans, lettuce, onion, tomato, and jalapeño): Steak and chorizo are always a winning combination, and this burrito did not disappoint. 3. Chirucas Chimichanga (4/5; two medium chimichangas stuffed with rice, beans, cheese dip, and your choice of meat, served with lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream): I chose the grilled marinated pork (al pastor), which was flavorful and satisfying. The server mentioned that the chicken version is their favorite. The service was decent overall, though it could be slow at times. I noticed a few tables waiting a while before servers came to take orders or refill drinks, and my drink was empty for a bit before getting a refill. Dinner service can get very busy, as every table was once full in one of my visits. Would I come back? Absolutely.

It was great, everything was authentic - but then Molly retired and the new owners moved the location to the hip and popular Overton Square. The restaurant turned into a bar - strong drinks with just OK food. And that was fun, if only you didn't come here to eat. Reciently the restaurant has changed hands and the new owners have turned it back into a real Mexican eatery. Now the menu is awesome, and about half of it caters to vegetarian appetites. And not wheatgrass, and Tofu... this is real Mexican food. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of pork chicken and beef. There are very large menu. And now, everything you look at it is delicious. I have been coming here since they opened and just now realized, I wanna try everything on this new menu. We had the beef chili rellinos with mole and refried beans, which I don't know how they do it but the refried beans have no pork and taste like they're loaded with bacon. She opted for a a la cart selection of black bean soup, roasted poblano pepper and cheese tamale, mushroom, cheese and spinach enchilida served with guac and pico. And as soon as our server left with our order, we immediately felt like we should have ordered this or that instead until our food arrived. TBO. Everything was totally delicious. I guess it means we just have to come back more often and try everything else on the menu. My server was amazing even though we did not order alcohol... (I had the worst feeling that since this place was really a drinking establishment for so long that they really kind of expected to grab a Margarita). The bill came with an included 20% tip, which I would always do anyway but i'm still kind of eah about telling me how to tip... politics!
