I've heard a lot about this place and couldn't wait to try them out. They always have a crowd, so we decided to go for lunch to avoid the nighttime crowd. We went during lunch time, so there were still quite a few people there. However, we were seated pretty quickly. We immediately received salsa and chips. I ordered queso and it was good and cheesy (I have to emphasize that because I've been to several places and had watered down cheese). Next, we ordered lunch. I tried the fully loaded baked potato. It was good and filled with plenty of vegetables, meat, and cheese. The potato was very fresh. I truly enjoyed it. We also had the Caldo De Camarón soup. It was packed with Shrimp broth with shrimp, onions, potatoes, bell peppers, cilantro and avocado. Too, we had a rice, steak, chicken, and shrimp plate that was topped with lots of queso cheese. Awesome service at this loud and fun Mem-Mex restaurant. Family friendly atmosphere too. Quick service, well lit and good chips and dip too. I ordered the Carne Al Carbon, rehydrated dried beef in rich chili sauce. So good but maybe the only true Mexican like item on the Menu. Along with the regular Mem-Mex food choices that can be found anywhere. Tacos, fajitas, chimichangas and Quesadillas and Margaritas. The guac was some of the best I've had and made fresh; they even ask if you want it smooth or chunky. Tried to get extra mole on the side and was told everything is pre-made and they just heat it up so there was no speciality changes here. Not really impressed with it. Asked for sweet tea. Got unsweet. Dirty silverware.. cheese dip not heated up all the way. Chips are cold. Very little ice in the glasses. Waitress wasn't back around to check about 20 minutes. The place is clean and looks really good. Food wasn't hot when it arrived at the table. Our food was delicious and arrived fresh shortly after we ordered it. Our server was very kind and helpful. They have a patio here and a spacious dining room. Lovely establishment - limited parking. They do have additional designated parking right across the street in two other lots which are fairly close so no worries. This is a new Mexican restaurant to open in Bartlett. It's a beautifully designed space and has lots of room for patrons. There's an outside patio as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. We went around 7 PM and were able to be seated quickly. The food was average. Not bad in any way but not as flavorful as I had hoped it would be. I had taquitos and hubby had fajita nachos. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking it out! read more

My little brother has been to Lopez Grill twice already, so I decided to join him for his third time, and my first time trying it. The parking lot of the restaurant was packed, but luckily, we were able to find a parking spot. Even though the restaurant was packed, we were able to get a seat in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant was very clean, and it was nice looking at all the decorations on the wall. They gave us chips and salsa when we sat down. I ordered a side of queso to go along with it. I haven't eaten that much today, and the chips and queso were so good that I feel like I was Pac-Man when I kept eating them. I ordered the Grande Steak Burrito. The Grande Steak Burrito was topped with Queso, and the steak and grilled onions were seasoned perfectly. I put more queso in the burrito, and I was just in another world. Also, when I saw that they have Fried Ice Cream on the menu, I knew I needed to try it. The Fried Ice Cream was a perfect ending to my evening. read more

I truly love an extremely good margarita and Lopez Grill didn't disappoint us. When we first walked through the front door the atmosphere had a good vibe and the host was very appreciative. My party of three and I enjoy a good quesadilla and Lopez didn't disappoint us at all ( honestly their steak, chicken and beef quesadillas were the best I have had in quite a while). They were served hot, seasoned and served with several slices. For some reason most restaurants serve a quesadillas like a large taco; not Lopez Grill ( it's served the correct way). Now; let's talk about the margaritas...we ordered 2 pitchers of margaritas ( frozen and on the rocks ). The drinks were so good that we couldn't finish no more than half of the second one. Take my word this is my first and last time I will leave a half pitcher of margarita behind . Since this is a new establishment we decided to go on a weekday. First time experiencing this restaurant Great location in Bartlett! Had high hopes for this new restaurant. Food: disappointed about the burrito special on their Jesus Maria Lunch menu. It's priced fairly at $9.49 but there is not much to brag about. It did not seem "special" and the only thing that separates this from their burrito supreme is that one comes with rice & bean and the other does not. The food was lukewarm, not enough meat (real skimpy) and the ground beef was not appeasing (it look like canned dog food). Other than that the flavor was just okay! Their chips and salsa were the highlight of this meal. Overall, I hate wasting money on second chances so I will not recommend or return to this restaurant. Second time here and I must say, it was actually scary awful. You wouldn't know by the look from the outside. The first time we came they were freshly opened and the food and quality was decent and the service was good. Unfortunately, the food was awful and the service was absolutely non existent. Food we ordered was low on meat and had plenty of veggies. The tomatoes they were using were canned... I hate to leave a bad review but something needs to change here. This place is newly built and it's very nice. Someone definitely had a dream, and put a lot of time and money into making this restaurant happen. I have been a couple of times and both were excellent. My first visit was for lunch and I ordered from the lunch menu. The food was good, service was prompt and the margaritas were fabulous! My second visit was for dinner and it was super busy! We were seated as soon as we walked it. It was absolutely freezing inside so I ordered the soup and a taco, my husband had the steak and chicken fajitas. The soup was sooo good and large enough for at least 3 people. My husband enjoyed his very large portion of fajitas and we took enough food home with us for dinner the next day! Our server, Denise could not have been better. I visited this restaurant 4 times. Food and drinks have been good no complaints. Each visit I've only sat at the bar. Tonight my friend and I were charged a 20% gratuity which I've never been charged before so I asked the 2 white gentleman sitting next to me if they were charged they said no I then asked the 2 white ladies at the end of the bar the same question they replied no both showing me their check. It was pretty noisy, but the service was excellent, and so was the food. We went on a Sunday around 1:00 pm. It was crowded, but we were seated quickly, as there were a few tables that were unoccupied. Our server was very nice and polite. We really liked her. I had a lot of trouble deciding what to choose, but I finally chose the enchilada supremas. Dad got something with shrimp and crabmeat in it, and it was delicious. We ate too much! It can be hard to find affordable dinner options these days and Lopez Grill is definitely on that list. Our waiter brought out salsa chips as soon as we sat down. Third time here and I live over 2 hours away. It's always good. I have a favorite but decided to try something different and sorry I forgot the name but it's a sampling of a few of their items. Nachos with ground beef seasoned just right and shredded chicken quesadillas with it and something else that was good. I'm not a fan of shredded chicken but it was flavored well. The food service and atmosphere of López Grill was amazing. Our server was Oscar and he was exceptional. I got the Shrimp A La Mexicana and added grilled fish and my husband got the burrito (the name escapes me). Everything came out quick and was well seasoned and fresh. The complimentary chips were hot and the salsa tasted homemade. We also enjoyed Margoronas (some places refer to it as Coronaritas) and it was strong and well balanced. We had great service, a ton of food and adult beverages and spent less than $60 bucks which was amazing. Parking can get a little wonky but also this establishment is new to Bartlett and hopefully it's a testament to their exceptional food and service. We have been back twice and they have not disappointed. We are here now for Cinco De Mayo weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing if the experience is different due to the uptick in patrons. Food was very flavorful!! Portion size was well worth the price. I got the shrimp and steak grill plate. The steak was VERY thin and they only serve that plate with T-bone. One star we had to give should be 0. Anyway our 1st visit and had to navigate the poorly thought out parking lot. Waited for a spot but had to back out because no second exit. Got a seat almost amediately chip and salsa arrived and our ice teas. FAST FORWARD 23 MINUTES we were still waiting for a waiter to come by .... NEVER SHOWES UP.... We are getting upset couldn't even get attention of any waiter. My wife got up went to front desk and complained however no one came. My wife found a waiter and askes if we could just pay for the teas and chips and leave he said talk to front desk. however couldnd even find that person. we were very patient but 32 minutes was our limit we left.
