Lobster Croquettes
Clara G.

Came for Miami Spice with my family. For starters, the service was excellent. They start you off with warm bread which was yummy. I got the lobster croquetas, lemon herb quail, and pistachio creme brulee. The food was pretty good, but nothing memorable. The portions are a bit small. My partner got the blue cheese steak and it was tiny! He was still hungry after. My mom got the crab stuffed salmon with the strawberry risotto. It was good, but it was a bit strange. Overall, the food is good but it seems confused. We couldnt pin point what type of food it was, and it just seemed like a fusion of all types of different foods with no real theme or direction.

Marfil Bistro is a nice Mediterranean restaurant in Doral. Came here before going to play pickleball with some friends for happy hour and we were underdressed. Our friend didn't forewarn us about the type of restaurant we'd be going to but, regardless of not adhering to the dress code, we had a great time. The staff was super nice and very attentive! They have a great happy hour that is every day from 4-7pm, that has 2 for 1 on select drinks and $8 tapas. We ordered a good amount from the happy hour menu and each got our 2 for 1 drinks. Luckily you can mix and match these and they were good size drinks and pours. The food was pretty good so I'm curious how it is to dine for dinner here.

Doral has lately become a favorite spot to meet and hang out with friends. Marfil was recommended to me by a friend, so we decided to try out their happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Their drinks are buy one get one free which is a unique deal to see. I had a lychee martini which was very refreshing to drink. Their HH food consisted of $8 (each) empanadas, mussels, calamari and tequenos. They were tasty - very nice to snack on while you sip on your drink Service was nice, I appreciated that they were accommodating to any food allergies and recommended alternatives Towards the end of happy hour there was live music playing and our happy hour experience couldn't have been any better This restaurant would be great for a date night out or for friends to meet for happy hour. Worth trying out!

Todo estuvo bien. La comida deliciosa. El "short-ribs with parmesan risotto" es de deguste obligatorio para cualquier comensal. Ademas pedimos "parmesan gnocchi" with added chicken.

Hit the spot! Marfil Bistro in Doral is a hidden gem! I visited at 3 PM and enjoyed the place all to myself. The food was exceptional, with vibrant flavors and beautifully presented dishes, from appetizers to dessert which was my favorite The service was amazing--attentive and friendly, making me feel valued. The inviting ambiance, with its cozy decor and soft lighting, added to the experience. Overall, it was a delightful afternoon, and I highly recommend this bistro for anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience. Perfect for solo visits or intimate gatherings!

Marfil Bistro in Doral is a stylish spot with a relaxed, upscale vibe. Perfect for Sunday lunch. Service was warm and fast, and our waiter made the experience smooth. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon, a flavorful seafood casserole, tasty appetizers, and took advantage of their BOGO happy hour wine. Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere - definitely worth a visit!

This place is gem in Doral. It doesn't look like much from outside but once inside, you get the ambience. The food is so delicious and the service is on point. It even has private dining. Love it!

I have nothing negative to say about this place. It was my first time dining here with my sisters and parents. We are all in town before we fly out of Miami for vacation tomorrow. My sisters live around the corner and we decided to come here for dinner. We had the goat cheese balls and carpacchio for an appetizer, I had the braised short rib and it was the best I've ever had. My family had the salmon dish with squid ink risotto, pappardelle, salmon farfalle, and caprese penne. All of it was amazing. We had the flambé dessert and 2 bottles of wine, as well. Our server (I think his name was Ronaldo or Rolando- apologies- I didn't catch it) provided the best fine dining experience with awesome recommendations. I've worked in the service industry for almost 20 years and he knows what good service is!

The ambiance is very upscale, welcoming, and sets the tone for a memorable visit. Joey the bartender was very professional, kind, extremely welcoming and very apologetic for the Happy Hour lounge being closed the day I visited which was bit disappointing. However, my friend and I still decided to stay and enjoy a cocktail. As we were leaving, we met Tommy the manager, who was just as nice & gave us a tour of the dinner area which I would love to try one day. He briefly chatted with us and gave us his business card. Everything about this place was top-tier. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classy night out with exceptional service or just a few appetizers & a cocktail.

From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.

Just to give you a rundown, start with Khachapuri for the whole table to share. This is just a boat-shaped bread filled with melted cheese, butter, and make sure you get it with the egg options. I also recommend Ozhakhuri if you want so thing simpler, which is a mix of pork, potatoes, and other vegetables and seasoning So Askaneli is a large restaurant, and at the time I went had a nice and private ambiance. The server was good and let us sample Georgian wines. And the food was obviously great. So if you are looking to try something different, I'd say go to Askaneli and try good Georgian cuisine for yourself

When we arrived and walked through the front door, the restaurant was completely empty... No host, no staff, no one in sight. We waited around for about 15 minutes before deciding to walk around the property, where we eventually found a side entrance near the bar with two employees. When we told them we were there to dine, they seemed genuinely shocked by the size of our group, despite the fact that we reminded them we had a reservation. We were then asked to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared a table. During this time, the air conditioning inside was not on, which is unacceptable given this is South Florida and the heat can be relentless. We ended up asking to sit outside, which was surprisingly cooler. Once seated, we immediately noticed bird droppings on the floor and on a wall/pillar just inches away from our table. It was very off-putting and confusing why this wasn't cleaned, especially since the outdoor area is clearly meant for guests. Service continued to be disorganized. After sitting for several minutes, we were finally asked if we wanted anything to drink, and we requested water. Immediately after that, we were asked what we wanted to order for dinner -- before we even had time to look at the menu. It felt rushed and poorly timed. When the food began coming out, it arrived in random spurts rather than together. Half of our group received their meals and started eating, while the other half waited over 20 minutes. At one point, more of our food was brought out -- but instead of being served to us, it was left sitting on the bar nearby for about 15 minutes. We had to ask three separate times if that food was ours, get ignored, then FINALLY be told, "Oh yeah, sorry, we'll serve you now." By that point, the food had been sitting out, exposed, and had gone cold. Not to mention we were already outside so I'm sure some flies were on and around the food. The server attempted to give us the food and we told him it was cold. He then said he would "warm it up". We had to explicitly ask for fresh plates, which should never have been necessary. By the time the replacements arrived, the rest of the party had already been waiting 30+ minutes after others had finished eating. The entire experience just felt chaotic. There was obviously a noticeable inconsistency in service. A table next to us appeared to be receiving extremely attentive service, while our table struggled to get even basic needs met. I think they may have been Georgian so they got special treatment. One of the particularly frustrating issues was water -- all of us were drinking water, and not once were our glasses refilled until the very end, when they were completely empty and we were visibly thirsty. Even then, we had to ask for more water!! Because this was a birthday celebration, we had originally planned on getting dessert, but given everything that had happened, we decided to just ask for the check. Getting our check took an additional 20+ minutes to arrive. To add to the confusion, another staff member repeatedly brought food to our table that none of us had ordered, forcing our server to redirect him to the correct tables. It seemed like nobody was trained?? With all that said, the food and drinks themselves were very good overall and tasted unique compared to standard offerings in the area. Our waitress was also very kind, and it was clear she was overwhelmed and likely did not have enough support to properly manage everything. The location is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, with fantastic views of the surrounding buildings and nearby water in Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, cleanliness, and basic service overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I really am rooting for them and hoping they can get it together because it has potential.
