Grant Gannon is a great wedding DJ and MC. He is professional, well organized and prepared, and a pleasure to work with. Once my daughter and her fiancé selected him to do their wedding, he took the time to consult with them and assist in the wedding planning process. He helped them create a music playlist that would be unique to their wedding. He assisted them with completing a master of ceremonies form. He made sure that he knew how to pronounce everyone's names properly. He then met with us at the venue weeks before the wedding to discuss important details and any house rules the venue might have. On the day of the wedding, he arrived a couple of hours early to set-up and test his sound system, as well as set up lights, a screen and a projector for a slide show I had prepared for our Father/Daughter dance. When the laptop I had provided him failed to connect properly to our projector, I had all but given up hope that the slide show would occur. Grant went well beyond the extra mile, working feverishly on my behalf, for over an hour and got it to function properly in time for the dance. As a father who had worked on the slide show for months and had envisioned this dance for years, that feat alone made him my hero. When it came to his job on the microphone, he was superb. He guided everybody through the timeline and dedications planned for the event. He played soothing music during dinner and afterwards, got the dance floor shaking with his enthusiasm and a great playlist of songs that had just about everybody up on their feet. Grant from Gannon Studios was delightful to work with from the first phone interview, through the wedding, reception, and with his detailed communication and follow up following the event. My husband and I waited until the weekend prior to decide that we might want to hire a DJ. We had created a playlist and planned to have a friend start and stop the music for us, but it was getting too complicated. We reached out to our event space coordinator who recommended a couple of DJ's of which Grant was one. We interviewed three DJ's and upon our first phone call with Grant knew he was the right DJ for our wedding. He was friendly, made good suggestions about things we didn't even think of for the reception, and asked questions to help us develop the perfect playlist. Grant supplied the lighting as well. He even worked with us on his fee due to the last-minute scheduling and knowing that we were in a bind. Throughout the week leading up to the wedding, Grant communicated with us several times to make sure all the start and stop times were identified. He also helped us select the perfect songs for the first dance, the mothers dance, and the ambient dinner music. Grant was beyond amazing for our wedding event. He went above and beyond to make our day extra special. We live in Colorado and Grant was in contact with me several months prior to the wedding. He had questions and recommendations I hadn't even thought of which was wonderful. He asked questions about my guests to ensure he accommodated their needs as well. I have used a particular photographer for years, and love capturing beautiful inages my growing toddler though holiday mini-shoot sessions, but the cost was so expensive! I set us a Valentine's day mini shoot for my 2 year old, and boy was I pleased beyond expectation. I highly recommend DJ Grant if you're planning to host a party for a big event like mine. Two weeks ago it was my teenage son's going away party for 100 kids in the clubhouse in our community.
