He also told us to be sure to ask for help in loading the 8 big bags into our car. He went beyond where he had to and it was well received. Wish we could say the same for the unfriendly cashier who checked us out. A young man walking into the store, an employee, stopped and help my senior husband load our car. How come there are 6 self-checkouts, however customers are not allowed to use them now? Corporate makes the already over-worked employees (mainly one) check people out on the self-checkout machines. Last time I went, that caused a line because one employee worked on the self checkout machine while the other 5 or so were closed while it was super busy. People around me were starting to complain. If it's the fear of theft, I have an idea. Open up the self-checkouts and have an employee check receipts and items to make sure that they match up.

People, generally resellers, get there way too early (estimated 3am). I have gotten great items in the afternoon when it is less black friday. I also respect the owners as they will open slightly early to keep people from parking and walking across Detroit Road. All in all it is a great store for those who are thrifty, like to search through tables, and just like to browse.
