Looking over the reviews from the past 3 years most are accurate. Although , I agree with most that are a 2-3 star. This location has unprofessional management and delivery employees. Long story short after 10 years I will not purchase from this location. Which seems to be a problem throughout the area. It seems like this location is undergoing yet another updating. They're trying to make it look more like a department store. The cosmetics area was in total disarray, with most items out of stock, which was annoying. (But it will be fantastic once it's done.) They do have an amazing new men's personal care department with full lines of products such as Creamo, Every Man Jack, etc. that I'm excited for my husband to see. The woman's clothing department looked like a herd of angry cattle stampeded through the aisles. Every other department was clean and maintained for the most part, which made it stick out like a sore loser. And they only had one actual check out open with an actual person helping customers. I ended up having to use the self check out. There's a live screen monitoring your every move, it's literally right in your face. Not a fan of that. Makes you feel like you're a criminal or something. I purchased a big floppy hat, so I asked the attendant to please fetch me a pair of scissors so I could wear it out of the store and also to wear it as I finished checking out. Before you know it, they'll have finger print or retinol scanners to check out with. Big Brother is watching! I think I'll stick to ordering online. read more

I'm a former Target employee, and this location used to be one of the best in the area. The staff was great, the managers were effective, and they took care of the place. It's been about six months since my last visit, and this location has gone so far downhill that it's disappointing. Most of the store is a complete MESS. Half of electronics, toys, and sporting goods is completely out of place, and men's clothing is so packed with overstock you can barely move or find anything. I came in for three items which the app said were all in stock, and couldn't find a single item. I found the appropriate spots for each, but the items were nowhere to be found. The team member in Electronics (could have been Target mobile, who at the time I worked there wasn't a direct employee of Target) was busy hanging out with about six people, loudly cursing and arguing about sports. I'm not a prude, but come on, dude. You're within earshot of toys and the baby section. There were kids around. On my way out empty handed, an employee jumped directly in front of my cart because he was too busy goofing off with one of the other cashiers. The whole experience was embarrassing. The Eastlake Walmart gets a bad rap, but I'd rather shop there if they've got what I'm looking for. That store is significantly more organized, if nothing else. read more

Nicely organized stocked and even pleasing to the eyes only complaint (reason for the 3 stars).. is because I drove all the way out here to get what showed in-stock online (fireworks) at 10:30 at night when their store closes at 11... I made it by 10 min drive from mentors target who didn't have but I didn't check their inventory first. I made sure I did here. They had every other which fireworks.. all except for the one I needed the $50.00 one that showed they'd have in stock. And even which aisle. I looked and looked frantically knowing the store would be closing soon, and even finally after rummaging through the very empty quiet store I had To find someone to help me. And even they looked to find none. Not even an old trace of. Very disappointing to drive out here to learn they have none. read more

This Target is nice. I used to be an avid shopper of Wal-Mart in Eastlake on vine st. In fact, I have shopped at Wal-Mart in Eastlake for 15 years, but after a recent turn of events I will never go back. Target is a much better choice for cleanliness and here's the big one....SAFETY. I also noticed a difference in the employees at Target, they are polite and helpful. Thank you Target...I am happy to have a safe and clean place to shop for my family. read more

This store can't seem to even remotely understand how to stock before the store opens or even keep the isles clear while they are still stocking when people are trying to shop. We were in the store today, a Saturday morning, around a half an hour after the store opened and the isles were not possible. Guess what, the manager who was supervising the stockers. Told them all to go on break. At 8:30 while the store was still a mess. We try to shop in the morning to avoid the crowds, but can't since this store is never stocked. Stuff in not on the shelf, or what is stocked, we can't get too. It has been this way every Saturday we have been here since we moved to this side of town in Oct. So it is not a new issue or a one time problem. The staff don't seem to care much when you bring it up to them either, simply. Saying they'll tell whoever to keep the isles clear. It has become a waste of time patience anymore and I really dont see us going to this location again. read more

"Manager" yelled at us and only at us because situation that happens near the registers. If you see wet floor sign..maybe clean the mess instead of leaving it on the floor. This is a very easy way to ensure I get my product. No, not just selling me my tube steak lunch. He organized the condiment packets. I mean, he REALLY organized those babies. Each was, naturally, separated by type. Catsups with the catsups, or perhaps they were all ketchups. Mustards with mustards, and so on. Here's where he did that great "value added" thing that most everyone in this great land of ours has decided just doesn't matter: Each packet was perfectly aligned with each OTHER packet. This is my preferred Target store when it comes to selection, cleanliness, and general shopping. Help is always available if needed and there are always employees straightening up / cleaning after patrons, which to me makes a big difference. If you want to know what I'm talking about, worst case, go to Burlington Coat Factory in Mentor, that place was a disaster last time I went. Yikes!! Other then that, this is a Target store after all and it comes with all the bells and whistles that all Target stores come with. Prices may not be as low as Walmart but I do like the brand better. read more

Just went in for an advertised special and they had no idea what I was talking about. Not only did they not have it, the store associate told me they never had it and he had never seen on for that price which was supposed to include a gift card. I showed him the advertisement which has been the same since before Christmas and he brought it up on some in store internet and it showed no store had one. The internet still showed that several local stores had one. I was also told I could not get a rain check and can't but the floor model since it is an internet deal, not even thinly veiled, just dishonest and a scam. I spoke with someone who said she was a manager and she said it takes longer to update the internet advertisement, I said that's funny because your associate just showed me an updated list. Actually you can update both lists at the same time. That is a fact, I work for an honest company that does just that, In essence I wasted an hour of time I can never replace going after something that in all reality never existed. It is just another scam run by a box store to run a very old bait and switch scam. This is the last trip to another low-life box store who's only concern is making money no matter how underhanded or dishonest their scams are. read more
