    Bruschetta

What an absolute hidden gem of a place! My friend had heard amazing things about Marco's so we met up here tonight to try their food and it was ah-mazing. I started off with their raspberry marg and then tried their raspberry sangria and I honestly can't tell you which I love more. The bruschetta was top notch, and made perfectly. I didn't realize their caprese is an actual salad with caprese on top, and I loved it. The calamari was delish with some lemon juice on top, and I def would love to try more. We tried a few different pizzas but my fave hands down was the prosciutto. Sooooo excited to have my cold pizza leftovers for breakfast tomorrow!

Amazing food! Great service staff. We got the chicken piccata, chicken Alfredo and the salmon pasta dish. All were perfect from entrees, wine to dessert!

Our Martinis. Blood Orange, Sea Blue Over all tasty but not really anything to write home about....

Quaint little restaurant Good food. Portions are a good size. Appetizer was. Drink selection is small- No Bar Wine selection is small I'd go back again. We were even given a $10 gift card. I guess it's an influence to go back.

From the second we walked in the door until we left, it was such a pleasurable experience. The employees are awesome, the food is incredible, and there's a great low-key atmosphere. We started off with a Strawberry Sangria and a Peaches N Cream wine cocktail. Then on to some Creamy French Onion Soup (which was absolutely insane, it was so good). Then we ordered the NY Strip, the Ravioli ala Vodka, and a Sicilian Pizza for our entrees. Then to top it all off, a cannoli and some specialty coffees for dessert! We left so full with many leftovers, but extremely satisfied. Highly recommend this place!

Last night, as we were leaving Marco's after our dinner, we agreed that our first visit there had been a very favorable experience. The white linens on the tables may give the dining room a formal look, but Marco's is a very non-pretentious kind of place. The hostess that seated us was very welcoming, and our server was friendly and charming. We started off with a basket of warm and fresh complimentary bread that was served with three offerings to complement the complimentary bread. Option one was whole roasted cloves of garlic in oil, option two was bright green homemade pesto, and option three was butter packets. What a terrific way to start things off! Our dinner entrees each came with a house salad, and it was a pretty good salad. It was cold. It was fresh. It was a generous portion. And it was excellent, with plenty of greens, and sliced carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Our entrees were Cioppino ($18.95 for sautéed shrimp, clams, scallops, mussels, and calamari served in a tomato broth over linguini) and Eggplant Parmigiana ($14.95 with marinara and mozzarella over penne pasta). I really enjoyed the Cioppino- lots of great flavors, two good size shrimp and quite a bit of everything else. The portion size didn't overwhelm me, and truthfully for almost $20, I would have liked to have seen a bit more in the serving bowl. The eggplant parm was three thinly sliced eggplant rounds, breaded and perfectly cooked with pasta. This was a delicious dish and was a good value, considering the price and portion size. Our two entrees with included salads and the bread dish ran $36 -not too bad at all for a relaxing, enjoyable, and delicious dinner.

We we on our way back to the airport and back home when we decided how can we come out east and not have a grinder. Found Marco's on Yelp. Best Meatball Grinder ever

We had a great time visiting Marco's for the first time last night! Great service all around. The strawberry sangria was amazing. Good food and drinks!! And that chocolate mousse cake for dessert was heavenly

We both ordered pink lemonades. I was craving a burger so I had a 1/3 pound burger and then included a sauce and toppings from like a McDonald's Big Mac burger. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato mayonnaise, and onion We ordered a large order of onion rings to accompany our burger After a 5 to 7 minute, wait the burgers arrived! My burger arrived, exactly as I ordered a medium rare. This burger was hand formed 1/3 pound of fresh hamburger. It was so juicy. It was also grilled with love. The toppings were spot on would like having a big Mac. I loved the soft roll. So fresh so spongy so delicious. The onion rings were on point, and there were so many in my order. I took some home. These are some really good rings. The pink lemonade was so tart and delicious ice cold. It was perfect on this warm day. Another great experience in this institution called Antonio's! With so many choices around. The best bang for the buck is right here, in Simsbury. Always clean restrooms parking is a breeze, and I didn't check out the new bar connected to this place but someday I will We were treated like family, and it was such a welcoming and perfect experience

The servers were friendly and quick, and the decor is very rustic and clean. Good sized tables and chairs. It took us maybe no more than 5 minutes to get seated, not a big deal. As for the food, I cannot recommend that chicken and biscuit sandwich more!! The chicken was so tender and crispy, and it paired perfectly with the biscuit, the sauce, and the egg. I will say, it said on the menu it would be an over easy egg but I think it was more medium, but honestly it was SO DELICIOUS it really didn't matter. We also tried a BYO omelet and that was good! I think the broccoli was cooked very well, nothing felt raw in the omelet. I might have liked a smidge more cheese to help it all hold together, but again, not a big deal!! It was a standard omelet, I probably wouldn't get that again but I would 100% get that chicken and biscuit sandwich!! Also their prices are very good!!

I loved the excitement from the guests and the staff. This is a happy place! I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich on an everything bagel, that included homemade sausage, two over easy eggs and cheese, with their homemade hot sauce on the side, to go. I also ordered a regular coffee The place was jammed packed, with a super positive buzz, as I could see very happy customers, and the staff looked like they were pleased to be serving! I received my order rather quickly, in a little bit over 10 minutes. Considering the restaurant was super busy, I could tell the back of the restaurant had their act together, and the total process of this restaurant was really well organized. At eight dollars for this perfectly toasted everything bagel, with homemade sausage with a little kick, two eggs cooked perfectly over easy, along with this cheese that just melted in my mouth, I was sent into heavenly Bliss. The explosion of the different flavors was perfection. The homemade hot sauce was delicious , it was like Tabasco sauce on steroids. Drago's you need to bottle this and sell it! The coffee was fresh, lovingly made on the strong side with half-and-half, and no sugar. This coffee was on point! The treatment to me by the staff was second to none. I just really really appreciate the service and the product. Will I be back? Heck if I could, I would move in! I can see why residents of both Granby and Simsbury are making this not only the local hotspot but a staple in the community Parking is a breeze out front. Keep in mind Dunkin' Donuts sandwiches are six dollars a pop for nothing special; for two dollars more I got this amazing sandwich twice the size, on a lovingly made, toasted to perfection bagel, homemade sausage, and an amazing cheese like I've never had before, and this kick butt hot sauce to top it off! Thanks again Drago's for a wonderful experience. I wish you the best of success here, and good fortunes. You totally earn it, every day, and deserve it

There are also long tables -- where I can imagine sports teams can go for pizza after a game. My family enjoys the food. It's good pizza, pasta, and a good burger apparently (so says my 11-yr-old, who tries burgers everywhere and is actually particular about them). We find that the small pizza is actually a big pizza. Outdoors, it's a pleasant patio area, and we were able to have our medium-size dog with us. The service is friendly. No complaints.

Instead, the lights and sounds of what felt like Chuck E. Cheese on steroids smacked us squarely in the face. Between the beeping and buzzing of pinball machines and children running around having a wonderful time, we quite literally almost turned around and left. Thankfully, our server asked whether we would like to sit outside--and the moment we walked through that door, it became a completely different experience. The patio was charming, the summer evening was perfect, and the staff was reasonably attentive. Outside, the restaurant felt much more like the casual pizza, bar-food, and entrée concept we thought we had found online. Since "Winged" is in the name, we naturally came for the wings. If I were comparing them with wings from a serious tavern or wing joint, they would rank toward the bottom. Compared with typical pizza-shop wings, however, they were decidedly upper crust. They were cooked perfectly, the Buffalo sauce was excellent, and the barbecue sauce was flavorful without being overly sweet. The blue cheese dressing was not remotely close to homemade--a major disappointment for me--but we still enjoyed the wings for what they were. J. Timothy's has nothing to fear, but these were very good pizza-shop wings. We also ordered calamari on a lark. It was cooked properly and perfectly fine, but neither distinctive nor especially flavorful. My son had the roast beef panini with horseradish mayonnaise, which was very good for what it was. I ordered the wild mushroom pizza. The crust was surprisingly spectacular, although the pizza itself was very heavily cheesed, noticeably short on mushrooms, and lacked any discernible hint of the rosemary promised in the description. Still, it was good overall. If we happened to be in the Simsbury area, we might return--provided we could sit outside. However, we would not make the drive from Canaan or Watertown specifically to visit it as a destination.
